Love all the cards. I totally get how you say the paper wasn’t your thing. I felt the same way about some of the butterfly papers, that is until you did these cards. Now of course it will be added to my list. Have a great day!!!
Great cards and color combinations! You can save all the butterflies to punch out if you cut each one out and then adding a long scrap of paper to hold in place in the punch to punch them out. This includes using even the partial butterflies which can be used on the edges of cards and other projects.
WOWEE! Alicia, these are TERRIFIC n’ QUICK cards! I LOVE THAT! I really like that you “showed off” the wood embellishments as I’ve been “hemmin’ n’ hawin’” over them~~your card samples really inspired me for using them! :-)). I like the Butterfly DSP but again, like you, not sure about the gingham! I liked your honesty in that the gingham didn’t “set you afire”!! I could so relate~~~even tho’ so many others are “ga-ga” over it!! I think you really DID IT JUSTICE in your video! Your close-up shots near the end REALLY are WONDERFUL, emphasizing the color co-ordinations n’ embellishments! Thanks, too, for always giving alternatives to the items you were using so others could still CASE your samples! Just a great video! TFS n’ HAPPY STAMPIN’ n’ CREATIN’! Have a super day! :-)
Your video was shorter than so many of the Demo's and you did 10 cards... I like that! Makes it worth watching.. I loved all 10 of your cards... simple but darling.
Fantastic job mixing and matching all the papers! I have one question. You mentioned choosing a paper that would work with alcohol based markers. They wont work with cardstock? What do you need to use? Thank you!!
Oh you can use any cardstock with alcohol markers, but there is specific cardstock for alcohol markers that works better. I like and use Spectrum Noir Cardstock off Amazon. It helps with bleeding and blending.
***ATTENTION*** The organdy ribbon was "turned off." That means that you cannot order it. It is my understanding that it will be available in March. The butterfly punch will be "turned off" tomorrow, January 25th. It again will be available in March. I AM SO SORRY for any inconvenience this may cause. It is important to order items from the Occasions and Sale-A-Bration when you can if you really want it them. I thought about waiting to post this video until March, but just didn't want to take the chance in the event more items are not available to order. Let me know if you have any questions.
This is the first of your videos I have seen. I am also a SU and really like these cards. Thank You for sharing. I too would like to know where you purchased your paper storage cases pouches.
Awesomesauce, love OSW! I did a 6 piece OSW, with one 6X6 of those patterns, loved it. The smaller butterflies on the sheet you don't want cut can be punched out. I cut around them and saved both sizes, but I don't have the Brother :( hope you can do it because that would be cool!
how can you get the info for saleabration.I am interested in the lily stamps and the free gifts. I buy a lot of products from other places and no one has ever said FREE items with purchase sounds great
