What a hoot about your daughter doing the dishes! My eldest son took 3 days to do dishes which made me laugh because then he always he way more to do. (They do grow up and get past this stage, thank goodness).

Another real beauty Jan! Totally agree with you on the pierced scalloped edging around the oval. Such a lovely touch. It's always the details, isn't it? My only hesitancy with this particular card when I come to making it, is using the gingham behind the butterflies ... might go with the same DSP as you've used below, but only because I couldn't stand for the pattern to be 'off' ... I know, that's pretty OCD, but ... sadly, it's getting worse the older I get! LOL This is going to be a must-do for me. Absolutely LOVE IT!! TFS! 💕

@@janbcards Thanks Jan ~ there are some nasty bugs going round that are really hard to shake-off! I'm going for a chest X-ray, repeat smear (at 56!!!) and camera down my throat thingy because I've been rough since the end of November! Really annoyed with my GP and the NHS!!

As someone has already commented, today’s card tutorial brings to mind the Spring season, with sunshine, warmth, and of course, butterflies. Oh WOW Jan, love these cards a lot! One I will be trying and giving to a friend. The male card is just wonderful as well. Those, for me, are the hardest to make. The option of using the darker color around the flowers makes a difference and they look beautiful!!! Have a wonderful weekend and sure do hope that Hubby feels better quick. Antibiotics will help a great deal!!!

I had trouble with the scoring. They didn’t line up. I did manage to get them folded by eyeballing. Love this card
