I am retired and 62. You helped me when going through breast cancer chemo. I’m healthy now, but I just wanted to thank you for your wig tutorials. I wore the Coolcap so I saved my most of my hair! Health is most important for sure! My siblings moved from Washington State to Arizona, but like you, we don’t like the extreme heat. Besides, we love the green! You should just rent a home in Spain. I’m also Italian and travel to Italy and we LOVE the Cotswolds too! Lots to talk about - wish you could come visit us here - we’re foodies too! All the best, Lori ❤
Nisha I’m English and a Londoner too so u.k is in my blood and for all its faults it’s home. I like the seasons…even the winter…it’s all part of what makes this country so appealing. The n.h.s for all that’s wrong is still amazing in a crisis….the wheels kick in quickly if there’s something really wrong. Yes I can see the appeal of Spain….it’s got a lovely culture, but this is my home and I couldn’t imagine leaving here altogether. I know people who have returned to the u.k from Spain because of certain uncertainties so you must weigh it all up. You’re in a beautiful part of the country in Windsor so think long and hard before you make that final decision. Your family looked beautiful and your mum looks amazing. Thank you for taking us with you x 🌸
Nisha , I am few years older than your mother, living in Canada much longer than I was living in Poland. My daughter moved to Europe and I was considering moving to Poland, even though I speak the language I had hard time to adapt to life in Poland. My even older friend summarised it in “ starych drzew się nie przesadza and wszędzie dobrze gdzie nas nie ma “. Don’t worry ,your mom will be fine ,we are strong and independent women . My advice ,enjoy today ,make plans but live for today and don’t put off the things you want to do until later ,on that note , I am going to travel by myself with group of strangers through Central America to celebrate my 75 birthday .
Those Polish sayings are so good (you just reminded me of them) You are right, Poland was so different 35 years ago, I would not have a clue how to live there but speaking the language helps x
Hi Nisha, we moved from Northern Italy (because of work) to Malta and I can tell you - in my case I never got used to the heat..it has been 10 years now. I used to complain about rain and cold, but now actually we fly often to Scotland 😂because we really enjoy colder climate…ideal would be to live half and half ..this is what I m thinking for us…❤❤
I retired at age 53 and am now in my early 60s. Many people resisted me because they couldn't understand the idea of not working if you don't have to. I considered my life to be in phases. I worked very hard to achieve what I have now, but in my last years, I owe it to myself to "stop and smell the roses." After I retired, I left the nation and now reside in Latin America. I was able to enjoy my new surroundings and escape from all the bad things that were going on in America. I haven't yet encountered anyone who laments their retirement.
Nice way to retire. For me, I believe retirees who struggle to meet their basic needs are the ones who could not accumulate enough money during their active years to meet their needs. Retirement choices determine a lot of things. My wife and I both spent same number of years in the civil service, she invested through a wealth manager and myself through the 401k. We both still earning after our retirement fund has grown way more than it would have with just the 401(k). Haha.
It's unfortunate most people don't have such information. I don't really blame people who panic. Lack of information can be a big hurdle. I've been making more than a million dollars by just investing through an advisor, and I don't have to do much work. Doesn't matter if the economy is misbehaving; great wealth managers will always make returns.
I think this is something I should do, but I've been stalling for a long time now. I don't really know which firm to work with; I feel they are all the same but it seems you’ve got it all worked out with the firm you work with so i surely wouldn’t mind a recommendation.
I definitely share your sentiment about these firms. Finding financial advisors like *Layan Talia Chokr* who can assist you shape your portfolio would be a very creative option. There will be difficult times ahead, and prudent personal money management will be essential to navigating them.
No, you never get use to the heat.Born and raised in Texas. We turn our air on in April and run it until Oct. Our temperatures in the hottest months you are in the house. It never cools down. It really confines us since we have to stay inside. ❤🎉❤
The weather in Spain (the heat) is nothing like Texas. Malaga has ocean breezes and 89 is considered hot. Texas like Southern Oklahoma gets into the three digits, big difference. Spanish nights are warm, but a balmy warm. A/C is recommended & at least a plunge pool. There is no comparison to the Texas heat it's like🍊to🍎
I was born and raised just outside of Dallas, Texas. When I was young, the heat did not bother me but I moved away to the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee. Been gone 32 years. When I go back to visit, I don't do that in the hot months. I am no longer acclimated and that heat gets really rough on older people. The older I get the less I can stand Texas heat. IT IS MISERABLE.
Don’t move to Australia 😂 360 days of the year it’s unbearable and in summer our bedroom was 50 degrees Celsius ! 100% humidity all year round and nothing dried - washing/paint/makeup etc 😂 after 8 years I had enough and moved back to Scotland 😂😂

I’m glad you were able to enjoy your trip without worrying about filming. And please don’t stress about not replying to comments. I’m just glad you are still posting sometimes.
Having been widowed so suddenly (overnight) it was the hardest thing to cope with and I can’t imagine how that would have felt had we moved away anywhere. Despite everything going on in the country right now the UK is my home. If I still had my husband by my side it would have been lovely to go on extended holidays in retirement, more so in winter, but home will always be home.
I was widowed suddenly 3 years ago to Covid. He was only 58. We were going to get a small ranch. I'm still in our home. Perhaps til my time. I miss him more than life 💔
It’s really heartbreaking to see how inflation and recession impact low-income families. The cost of living keeps rising, and many struggle just to meet basic needs, let alone save or invest. It’s a reminder of the importance of finding ways to create financial opportunities. You've helped me a lot sir Brian! Imagine i invested $50,000 and received $190,500 after 14 days
Some persons think inves'tin is all about buying stocks; I think going into the stock market without a good experience is a big risk, that's why I'm lucky to have seen someone like mr Brian C Nelson.
I’m in the south in America and it is still hot. It’s going to 88° today. I would love to move to a colder climate. I think I would love UK weather. So happy you and the fam had a good time in Spain. Everyone looked happy and healthy! ❤❤❤
Nisha,it’s hard when we care for our parents as they get older. My husband And I are thinking of retiring to Spain.US is very expensive nowadays and even with good pension and a bank account is just ridiculous. We have been exploring different parts of Spain for the last 5 yrs.We love Spain and my husband has family there. But like you I do t think I can live in heat..Enjoy the moment and don’t concentrate so much in the future since nothing is guaranteed. Love your videos.❤
I lived in Spain for 12 years. I enjoyed some of my time there. You’re not on vacation the whole time you are there, you’re still doing your chores and other things that you would do in England. But now with global warming, Spain is too uncomfortable to live there, even the Spanish are struggling with the heat! I like England and am happy to live here, even if we don’t have the same climate as Spain, thank goodness!
We moved to Spain 14 years ago in our early 50’s. We took early retirement and honestly it’s been amazing. Yes we have hot summers but the climate here in Andalucia is beautiful. We’re still enjoying temperatures in the mid 20’s. We love the culture and slower pace of life and our experience of the health service has been excellent. Seeing our doctor is easily arranged for the next day or two. We have had Spanish lessons for nearly all this time and our command of the language is good. We are fortunate enough to be able to visit our family in the UK a few times a year and of course they visit us. My elderly parents live nearby us too! They moved here about 4 years after us and they love it! We enjoy visiting the cities and Malaga is one of our favourites! Spain is our home 🥰
Retired - I hear what you're saying and at the end of the day I think it comes down to fear. I live in VA and would move to FL tomorrow if my husband would go. His children are here, so I understand him wanting to stay. On the flip side, I say while your health is good, is the time to move. Worry about your aging when that time gets closer:):):) Enjoy today, tomorrow is not for certain. My dad was 76, in great health. He fell down the steps going into his house, hit his head on the concrete patio and died 10 days later. He was always waiting to do this or that in life - and never did any of it. That experience forever changed my mind about looking into the future. Since then, I have been able to let go, not worry about the small stuff and live for today. :)
Nisha we moved to Barbados when I was young. Believe me The grass is not always greener especially with healthcare there it’s so expensive. I always remember my mum saying she missed the seasons got fed up of wearing the same clothes year in year out! We did eventually come back. What a dilemma for you I can see your reasons for going to be with your mum but also your reasons for staying to be near Max. Your mum certainly looks younger than her age 😁 x
Nisha, I always love how you Take your fans with you. We get to see different parts of the world places that I probably will never get to. I love your channel. I am glad that you are continuing with it. You always come up with great creative ideas! You have a, very nice looking family and it looks like you had an awesome time😊
I'm waiting to hear back on my visa acceptance for Spain and will be selling up and cashing in and moving to Malaga/Costa del Sol. I will be a young retiree at 57 but in Spain I will be able to afford to retire, definitely not something I could do in the US or in the UK. I live in the USA now and have both British and American passports. I am so looking forward to getting away from everything in this country!! My brother has lived in Spain since 2019, pre-Brexit and loves it, with no thoughts of ever moving back! Nisha, so glad you are back on YT- I look forward to your videos but absolutely understand that it's a full-time job that you need to take a mental health break from. Just know that you are missed when you're gone!!
Yes definitely think about retiring in Spain Nisha….you can always move back to the UK if you need too….absolutely loved the holiday video, your family is gorgeous xx
Hi Nisha I’ve lived in San Antonio, Tx all my life and have NEVER gotten used to the heat here. It’s November the 4th and will be 89 degrees F today. Having four seasons would be such a blessing Thank you for your videos😊
I'm retired, and considered moving south (in the US) but my kids and grandkids live nearby and I just couldn't leave them. I enjoy being part of their daily lives too much. But I have wintered in Florida, and that is wonderful. Best of both worlds.
Your trip looked amazing with big smiles and summery outfits. I too do not take the heat well. My husband would love to move to the southern states but I don't want to be couped up in air conditioning all day. Our taxes are extremely high in upstate NY, yet I love it. We too want to be close to family in driving distance 5but if anything happens to my husband, not sure I could live in Jersey as it's so populated than it ever was. But it's a tough decision as each has its pros and cons. Glad you are taking Spanish, I had 4 years of it but now forget a lot of i like my mom said if her Polish. Anyway glad you had a wonderful trip, your mom is beautiful and glad you are home safely but sorry about your freezer.
Hi Nisha. I’m so pleased you had a lovely time in Spain with your family. There are many similarities between Greece where I live and Spain- you can’t beat the Mediterranean! I moved from England over 40 years ago and I can honestly say I have no regrets but I was only 25 at the time and I was free and single and prepared for any outcome. However,I was lucky as I am an official Greek citizen as I married a Greek before all the laws changed but I also held on to my British citizenship so I am dual. It’s not easy to integrate- it takes time but learning the language is so important and I am virtually fluent now.The weather is glorious and the pace of life is so much better! It was so sweet seeing dear little Louis in the bath but I’m sure he missed you. Your mum looks great for 73 !🧡🍁🎃
I think the answer is to save up and go visit mum often. Take best of both worlds, have longer stays once Paul is retired. For me I am very English I can't stand the heat, I prefer the coolness. In reality it doesn't rain here every day, and if you wrap up you can go for a walk in any season.
Hi Nisha, I’m glad you had a wonderful time in Malaga, it looks so beautiful there. Your mom is stunning and you look exactly like her! I love little Louis, sooo cute having his bath! Think carefully about leaving the UK, that’s a huge decision. We have the opposite problem, I live in South Africa and both my kids are in the USA. I worry about when the time comes when one of us is left behind, there’s no one here for the person left.☹️. That’s my worry. At least you’ve got Max there for you. Thank you for a great video! Enjoy your week. 🌻🪻💐🌸
First of all: you look amazing! Vacation suits you so well and I love the bold lip on you! You look so young and vibrant! Second: amazing how well your mum looks! you just look like friends having a chat! ❤ You will once look back and realize how much life you have wasted by worrying about things that have never happened! We are here to enjoy our lives! To me, you sound like a perfect snowbird! You live a few months in Spain when it’s cold and ugly in the UK and you spend a few months in the UK. There is always a solution! 🎉
Good Morning Nisha, thanks for sharing your holiday with us. It’s so difficult to make the decision on moving and aging parent. I would love to move to another state but my husband and I have to stay close for our parents , children and grandchildren. We decided to split our time between two states. That way we have the best of both worlds because we enjoy hot weather. I hope you have a terrific week. XXOO 💜💜💜
That’s what I love about my Gibraltar, we’re bilingual, lovely weather, safe, great medical care, and we can go to Spain daily if we wish, lots of UK people are moving here all the time, in November things will change for UK citizens, wanting to visit Spain, like a visa, and financial declarations etc. so be careful , glad you had a lovely time with your mum, she must have been beaming with happiness ❤
Your mom is beautiful. I wish I could retire. I am 63 and will probably have to work until I drop. I would love to even visit somewhere else at least but can’t afford it. Big decisions like moving to another country takes a lot of thought I am sure.
Hi Nisha... Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful trip with us.. You all looked happy and gorgeous. The wigs looked wonderful on your mom. There are no easy solutions when it comes to big decisions like retirement, moving, etc. What might help - which I think you do that anyway - is make a VERY detailed Pros & Cons list for staying in the U.S. vs. moving to Spain. List the things that are crucial musts to you and the things that are "negotiable." Have a wonderful week. Hugs from NYC.
Hello, Nisha. Really enjoyed the video, so much more relaxed and it’s a lovely way for you to show us the countryside in the UK and Spain. I have read the comments and they are all valid but one thing we must remember is that we are different. You live inSurrey and it is a beautiful county, my cousins live there also. You say the weather has been bad but I think the weather the world over has not been all that good. This year in Alberta, Canada we had a late and cold spring, smoke from forest fires and no snow until January. No snow is bad for farmers and gardeners, I think one of our trees will die this winter. I came to Canada when I was 12 because my father’s job brought us here. I went to school got married but no children and life went on. The years went by so quickly but I never became Canadian. I missed England so much but circumstances prevented me from returning g and now I know it is too late. I have no family here and those I grew up with in England have long since passed away. I have friends who went to Australia when their children were small and I think that is the difference. The younger you are the easier it is. If I was in your position I would consider the friends and family around me, my home and everything I had and achieved and remember you are a short trip to Poland and even the rest of Europe. Canada is different, there are no trains crisscrossing the country which is vast and no history to speak of. When my school friend came to visit me she said that although Canada seemed nice she would not leave the UK because it was so rich in culture and history. She lives in Essex. To any Canadian readers, I mean no offence but one’s homeland will always be home and who knows maybe one day I might get back home. I am 70.
Hi Nisha I know someone who sold their house in the uk maybe 15 years ago and they bought a house in a village near Malaga. They wanted to come back after a year as they couldn’t go outside the door with the heat in the summertime but it wasn’t possible and they had nothing to go back to. I have been over to the Malaga region several times and I understand your Mothers love for it. It’s a great country but I personally wouldn’t like to be too far away from my family as I get older. Another thing I would not be able to tolerate is the mosquitos. ☹️😏 “Hills are green far away “😊
My friend and husband moved to Spain 25years ago and kept a flat in the UK which they spend quite a bit of the summer here now due to the heat in Spain.. they are now in their early 80s and they are drawn back to the UK... its due to our seasons, friends and family... if one goes the other would be so lonely - their son lives in the UK. It's something only you two can decide on.. My brother lived in France for almost 20 years. He has been back in the UK for 7 years now (he is 73) and I think it's purely down to the fact that it's his home... for all it's faults and bad weather England was calling him back.. I think it's worth a go although if that's your desire... I would prefer to visit Spain and always come home - but that's just me!! Whatever you choose Nisha I shall still follow you on UA-cam!! Be happy and enjoy life !! ❤
Hi Nisha, we live in Quebec and in the winter we go to Florida for at least 3 months. Our son check the house every week. We are happy to leave and happy to come back too. We live our best life like this.
I agree to rent in Spain but definitely keep your home in England. It is so hard to live abroad these days due to opting out of the EU, 😮they really don't want us there, you have the best of both worlds. You have a lovely family.🎉 Best wishes from Rosie O 😊
Hello Nisha, as always it’s so nice to see a new video from you. Nisha your Mom is beautiful and does not look her age at all ! Spain was beautiful love it when you show us different parts of the world. I hated to hear about you both losing all your meat and freezer items, meat is so expensive these days. I hope you and Paul have a wonderful week and hopefully y’all have many many blessing days ahead 🙏🏻💖🌷
We moved to Mexico, from the US, when my husband turned 62! We thought we would snow bird, but after a while, we decided we loved Mexico, too much, to snowbird!!! We sold our condo in St Louis, Missouri and now, have been in Mexico, 16 years!!! We are still not bilingual, but speak more than the average person. We lived at Lake Chapala for about ten years and then moved to the beach…Progreso, Yucatan peninsula! We love the heat, we love the Gulf of Mexico, love the Mexican people! We have our own pool and live one block from the beach! We are in the ocean, every day, walking chest deep in the water, doing our exercises in the water and then come home and do our pool exercises!!! We go back to the US, every other year, to visit family. Give Spain a try and I am sure you will love the slowed down life and weather! Sunny weather makes everyone happy. When we have any bad weather here, it is so sad. Thank heavens, it is so nice, most of the time!!!!! Sue,now 75 and Bob, now 77. I am sure, at some point, we will have to move back, due to our ages, but we are so grateful for the years of fun, we have had here!!!!!!!!🦩🦩
We live in Tucson, Arizona and are preparing to move permanently to La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico in about 15 months. We are currently both 61. We had a new house built and are looking forward to the slower pace of life!
@@suedietz1673 I know but you said in your comment that you probably will have to move back due to your age… my question was: why do you think you have to move back bc of your age?
I am from America but my dad was British and we had British cousins who lived in West Sussex. A mother and her son. Neither knew Spanish. They moved in 1997. They are both deceased. But lived there until 2018. They got along well. I think you would get used to the heat. I lived in southern california and moved to the hot central valley of northern CA. My cousins and I used to talk about how similar the weather was to Spain. You do get used to the heat. We have a dry heat. It gets hot but we manage, but a pool helps. :-)
I have been to Malaga a number of times and we always have a fab time. Lots to do, very clean and of course the weather. We considered moving to another country a few years ago, to another country but we had the same thoughts as yourself. As we aged we changed our mind completely and pleased we did not make the change but YES I would love to move to Malaga. You are young and your son will travel pretty much like you do with your mum so embrace the change perhaps.
Louie was a hoot telling you how he felt ,with his eyes, about bath and drying time. I agree with you about traveling English speakers! Your trip to Spain looked like you all were really having fun!🎉
Lovely too see your gorgeous mum and Max Nisha I’m off their in two days time!! we went in May it was scorching 🥵 I looove it ha ! Terry is retired and all for selling up and moving it’s a huge step and I’m exactly like you the way I think .. I do love it so we’ll see life is definitely for living ❤❤love that your still doing videos your like a sista 😂I’ve been with u from the beginning 😘😘
My husband and I moved from Michigan to Florida after retirement, that was our “adventure “ our two sons were living in Michigan and would come down to visit about once a year. It was fun at first, the weather in the summer was hard to get used to and we missed our kids, living 1200 miles away took all of the spontaneity out of calling and saying “let’s meet for dinner tonight “ When it comes down to it, family is most important. Our youngest son was diagnosed with cancer so we moved back to Michigan to help him and then we lost our Son. We had 18 months back here when I lost my beloved husband of 50 years. Looking back, I wish we hadn’t moved away, but could’ve rented a few months in the winters .
Hi Nisha, I say life is short, go have a wonderful adventure....don't worry too much about many years into the future, things will work themselves out. Your husband will learn Spanish, you will love being with your Mom. Just Go and enjoy your life.
Nisha I watch those TV programmes about people who move to Spain when they retire but like you I am filled with questions and doubts. I always tell people if you want to move to another country the time to do it is when you're young, then your kids and their kids will grow up in that place too. I watched my grandparents - they only moved a few hundred miles to the Welsh coast but after ten years they were becoming frail and felt cut off and moved back to be close to family again. For me the ideal would be to have some kind of holiday bolthole that we could escape to during the English Winter.
Yes, we left Santa Cruz California after 45 years and moved to the base of Newberry National Park . High elevation and in the wilderness. We absolutely love it here. We have been in central Oregon for 6 years and are so very happy. No traffic , we have a well so no water bill. Propain tank and electric, both affordable. And land. We do get snow but we like it. Slower living and quiet. Wood burning stove in the living room and we go out every year and get our own wood with a permit. I've learned how to spin wool on a spinning wheel and sell my wool yarn. My husband bought a tracker and atv and love's taking care of the property. It feels so free and wonderful. We love it here and will stay here as long as our bodies can do what we do out here. There are 2 lakes 30 minutes up the mountain from us and they are beautiful. Paulina lake and East lake, Central Oregon. ❤❤❤
We visit my daughter in Santa Cruz, CA once a year. So EXPENSIVE! Last year (2023) we bought breakfast at a mom and pop place. 5 eggs, 4 slices of gluten free toast, bacon for my husband, a cup of black coffee was $45 before a tip!
Me too! We live in Bend in Central Oregon, USA and love the SUNSHINE, all 4 seasons and the very cute downtown. I love this channel by the way, keep up the good work!
Yo soy española y veo tus videos para practicar inglés (because I am an English teacher in Spain)😊 Yo te enseño español encantada y tu me prestas tu casa en Inglaterra para yo ir ahí porque me encanta tu país (jajaja el mundo al revés)) Love your videos! Welcome to Spain and to learn Spanish ❤
We too are nearing retirement and already looking into which country would suit us best. Healthcare, Food, cost of living and language are our biggest concerns but we know for certain we'd like something cooler than hot. Living in a hot and humid climate already is something we've had our fill with.
Yes! Go soon! Fantastic idea! My son and fiancé were in Spain last month, all month, and loved it. They currently live in NY. If they go, I’m right behind! Yes I would move in a heartbeat. I am currently living in San Diego which is nice but California/US is a little nuts. Weigh your options! Cheers!!!
We retired at the ago of 55 from England to Perth, Western Australia, having holidayed here for several years visiting my daughter and grandchildren. Love the sunshine and way of life.
Hi Nisha, my husband and I we are also thinking about retiring in Spain, or at least live there part of the year as we have our kids in the US. Malaga is our number one place on the list , but we’ll like to explore other cities of costa del sol, and other parts of Spain like Sevilla , Cordova etc. Thankfully for us we are bilingual, Spanish our first language, life is too short, if you are so unhappy in the uk , rent an apartment in Spain and keep your house in the uk, have both and enjoy life, I loss my father to cancer 3 months ago , it has proved me that life is too short indeed.
Hi Nisha ,glad you had a lovely time with your family ,your mum looked amazing in that wig I would love to live abroad but sadly have to many family commitments in uk Loved the vlog ... Enjoy your spanish lessons .....x
So nice to see you again Nisha! I’m so happy for you that you spent time with your family in Spain. I’m also glad that you are doing videos whenever you feel like it and not a ridged schedule. You sound like me…I hate really hot weather. I live on the East Coast of US and love the seasons. My husband talks about moving to Florida…I couldn’t too hot. Maybe you could rent a place in Spain for 2 months and see how you like it and keep your home in UK.
My ex husband is having a home built in Spain and plans on living there part time for retirement, not going to lie I’m very jealous but happy for him and you as well! ❤
So Happy you had time with your mom, I'm 62 moved only 35 miles from my only daughter and 4 grandchildren, her friends have told me she has cried to them since I moved I used to live only 2 miles away from her, anyway she is now trying to sell her home and move close to me and her dad just my experience never knew she'd miss us so much because when I lived only 2 miles away I think she came by maybe only once a month guess you don't miss something until it's not around the corner.
Such a beautiful family!!! Your mom looks so young! My husband and I live in US, but are seriously considering moving to Europe (we love Cadiz and Cartagena, and also love Ireland). So much to consider and lots to think about before we finally decide - and lots of research to be done. xxx
It is lovely to see you enjoying your holiday and perked me up seeing some sunshine with our crappy weather! I have no desire to move somewhere hot because I don't like the heat but I grew up in Germany and the older I get, the more I feel drawn to go back there; my life, my family and my friends are mainly in the UK so it would be a ridiculous idea but my heart just lifts when I land there. It is such a difficult decision to make xx
Love seeing your mom. Sorry for your electric ⚡️ disaster. I love Spain. I would get something not too expensive in Spain and keep your home in England.
I'm retired, but nearly all of my family lives nearby. Both of my sons live in my city, with their families and that's important to me. My parents are in their 90s and live 58 miles away. It takes about 45 minutes to drive their. I live on the Northern Plains of the US and winters are hard here. I like the snow, but we have horrible wind. I would like to move to the next state where there's snow, but not wind, but my family is here. Our summers are nice, but we don't have much spring. Winter hangs on and sometimes it starts in October. We pride ourselves on being survivors when it gets warm, again. xo~linda
I left England 36yrs ago to moved to Tenerife and never regretted it. I am now fluent in spanish and work as a medical translator in the Hospitals here. I too, Nisha, learnt spanish from a native spaniard and it helps to listen to spanish music and the lyrics. The weather makes a huge difference to your mood and happiness. The healthcare is brilliant too and you can still see a doctor without an appointment the same day. Make the decision, you will never ever regret it. Lovely video and loved the video footage from Spain.
Don’t sell your house in England, rent it out and maybe take over your mums place when the time comes. That way you can always return home if you change your mind.
So glad u had a great break. You look very chilled & healthy with the doze of good sunshine. We would have loved to retire to warmer climates but sadly that won't happen now. Due to failed surgery I am now registered disabled and not a good candidate for joining any new country. Finances ruined and no option for health recovery. I'd say if u have the opportunity take it & go for a year to try it. Don't wait too long incase circumstances are against you. Try it and see - don't miss out on a fabulous chance. Happy to hear from you always. Much love ♡♡♡
Nisha, I am Australian my husband is English we have 2 children and have lived in Australia for 35 years now retired from our business. My husband has a large family in England. We are going to move to with the option of a holiday home in Spain if we love it move permanently. Our son wants to stay in Australia. We are going to think of it as an adventure. Keep your house in England and try Spain for 1-2 years. It’s always a big emotional subject
! glad you enjoyed your trip to Spain! You have a lovely family ❤ We too think of.retiring in a warmer state but I can't leave my kids even though they aren't kids anymore. When we do fully retire in a few years we have decided to travel.to a warm state for Just January and February, but keep our main home permanently. Everything will fall into place eventually for all of us approaching retirement 😊 !! Take care and I look forward to your next video!
Hi Nisha, I know some Spanish from taking it in school and being born in California although I don't live there now. One thing about the US is you can move states and feel like you're in another country almost. Maybe you could just rent a place in Spain for one winter and see how you both like it. A lot of people here live in 2 places (they call them snow birds) and they put their house on airbnb or something. You might feel funny having strangers coming and going. I don't think I could do it. As far as Paul learning Spainsh there are translation apps and devices that can instantly translate which would make it a little easier. My husband retired early and he wants to move somewhere warmer but we haven't because of his parents. It's such a life altering decision to make. I wish you all the best of luck.
I think that becoming snow birds would be the best option but I couldn't have strangers living in my house, it would just have to stay empty with Max checking up on it x
I retired at 55 years old and I'm now 59. Living in Canada and yes our winters are miserable but I don't see myself leaving my 2 sons behind for another country. I will have to settle just visiting Spain which is on my bucket list.
Nisha, we have lived in Florida for the past 25 years, moved to the states in our thirties and are now retired. I had a hard time adjusting to life here in the beginning but was lucky to be able to come home to UK at least once a year. My thoughts are to be very careful, as you say being on holiday is a lot different than living there. Day to day stuff is the same wherever you are in the world. Our summers here are awful with extreme heat and humidity, I hate it. it's the opposite for my husband, like your brother he likes it the hotter the better That being said we will now have for the next 5 months lovely, temperatures and it never gets too cold. I think having family there in Spain is the best of both worlds, you can visit frequently as its close to home. Healthcare here is brilliant but then again, we have to pay for health insurance. I still sometimes fantasize about coming home for good but don't think I would survive the winters there now and both our daughters live close by so would never leave them now. There is plenty of time for you to think it through lots of pluses and minuses, I have no regrets about moving here but still to this day miss 'home'. The part of England you live in is gorgeous, I always love seeing the countryside when you take us along with you on walks with Louie!
I enjoyed hearing from you and seeing your photos. I do not know what to say to you. You will make your own informed decisions. I am not in a position to give that kind of advice. Sorry about your electrical problem while you were away. All my love 💕💖😘 Goodnight from Nevada USA.
I think it's all a state of mind, re the weather and to make the most of our different seasons. The best thing would be to buy an apartment for longer holidays. You don't like the weather here, but you don't like too much sun either so you might not be happy there long term. ❤
Greetings , what a lovely vacation with your whole family, your mom is so pretty ! I live in Indiana and I could not live somewhere where they do not have the four seasons , I love them all ! My dream would be to live in the UK one year near the Cotwolds.. I would love the Autumn and Christmas charming quaintness ! You are right when you go somewhere lovely for vacation it always is amazing , but to actually live there takes away the excitement ! Take Care xo Paula
Glad you had a good time. Wish I could afford to go to places like that. I admire that you have the guts to move to another country. My daughter is after me to get my affairs in order as I will be 73 in December. I’m in pretty good health and still work part time. Have two houses and find myself in a turmoil about having to get rid of stuff as I really have too much stuff that I don’t need. Then there’s all the legal crap that you have to go through so whoever is left knows who gets what and etc. not even ready for that but it needs to be done
I’m so glad you enjoyed your holiday with your family in Spain, it looks absolutely beautiful! Delightful to hear from you as always, your accent is delectable! Life is such a wonderful and privileged experience albeit brief, enjoy every moment. I also would like to retire overseas with my husband, but the ties and love for my children are so strong that I just couldn’t bear to live apart. It’s such a difficult decision to make, isn’t it? 😊
My husband had a very stressful job and when he turned 60 just decided he did not want this in his life any longer. So we decided to find the sun and moved back to South Africa and it’s been the most wonderful year being back!! We don’t have any children so that wasn’t a consideration, but our plan will be to move to a retirement village once we become more needy, and the retirement places here are phenomenal! Especially when you have GBP! I think that would have been our plan even if we had children. We believe quality of life is so important and we just did not have that in the U.K. Us South Africans are solar powered 😂 and we love being outdoors, so don’t think we could ever have considered staying in the UK for good. All the best with your decisions 💕 🌝 💕
Nisha what a wonderful trip you must’ve had!!! Wow your mom still looks gorgeous!!! I hate that you lost all your frozen food but at least it wasn’t water!!!! 🙏🏼 I can’t imagine all the loopholes you would have to jump through just to move…yikes!!!! However I would love to see you there to enjoy your life and your mom. That would be so wonderful. Now….tell me how was Louis when he was reunited with you? ❤❤ Love from NC 🇺🇸 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Ahhh it's like having an old friend back for a chat ❤ funny you say all this, my husband and I are seriously thinking about moving to south of France in about 5 to 10 years, my husband works from home in I.T. so he can work anywhere. But I have all the same worries as u. Esp about how it would affect my 2 boys. And what happens when one of us dies, my husband laughed so much when I told him that concern. But I can't stand the weather here and everyone is miserable and it's so expensive. Think we need to visit Malaga, it looks so lovely xxx
I am so happy that you have your health back 😘
That's what I suggest, too. Live in both places. You could work something out.
Thank you for this Pointer. It was easy to find your handler, She seems very proficient and flexible. I booked a call session with her.

Omg those shops look fantastic! Beautiful streets too 😊 I think you’ve convinced me to go to Spain definitely for my 50th 😅
I’m glad you were able to enjoy your trip without worrying about filming. And please don’t stress about not replying to comments. I’m just glad you are still posting sometimes.
I agree. Enjoy your time and don't worry about working so hard. So glad to see you with your family and enjoying life.
@@jennythomas1579 oh Jenny it must have been devastating for you I’m so sorry for your loss x
I was widowed suddenly 3 years ago to Covid. He was only 58. We were going to get a small ranch. I'm still in our home. Perhaps til my time. I miss him more than life 💔
Don't simply retire from something; have something to retire to. Start saving, keep saving, and stick to investments
Absolutely! Profits are possible, especially now, but complex transactions should be handled by experienced market professionals.
Some persons think inves'tin is all about buying stocks; I think going into the stock market without a good experience is a big risk, that's why I'm lucky to have seen someone like mr Brian C Nelson.
Finding yourself a good broker is as same as finding a good wife, which you go less stress, you get just enough with so much little effort at things
Brian demonstrates an excellent understanding of market trends, making well informed decisions that leads to consistent profit
Evening Nisha loved the vlog
It looked amazing in Spain
Your mum looks beautiful
See you soon take care ❤
Love, love the picture of the two of you. Absolutely beautiful! It makes you smile.
Nisha, Glad you had a lovely visit with your mama and family. Louie is even more adorable in the bath. He is even smaller when his fur is wet.😊
What a fun video!❤ You and your mother look just stunning and you look like you had such a good time😊
Retired - I hear what you're saying and at the end of the day I think it comes down to fear.
You will make the right decision for you
...just take your time deciding🥰 gr8 to have you back 😘
Nisha, I always love how you Take your fans with you.
Thank you x
Yes definitely think about retiring in Spain Nisha….you can always move back to the UK if you need too….absolutely loved the holiday video, your family is gorgeous xx
Thank you for showing us footage of Spain! It looks beautiful. I'd love to visit there some day.
So nice to see you back ❤I love your videos
Emigrated from uk to Australia 20 years ago, took 4 dogs and off we went…. Best decision ever
Hi Nisha I’ve lived in San Antonio, Tx all my life and have NEVER gotten used to the heat here. It’s November the 4th and will be 89 degrees F today. Having four seasons would be such a blessing
Thank you for your videos😊
Your mum looks great for 73 !🧡🍁🎃
Spain is beautiful💗 I live alone & have thought of moving to a 55+ community when I retire, so many things to do.
I am so glad you are back Nishia❤
If I was in your position I would consider the friends and
family around me, my home and everything I had and achieved and remember you are a short trip to Poland and even the rest of Europe.
It’s not that “they don’t want you there” it’s that people voted to LEAVE! And now we have to suffer the consequences of it!
You’re mum is amazing
I am sure, at some point, we will have to move back, due to our ages, but we are so grateful for the years of fun, we have had here!!!!!!!!🦩🦩
so happy to hear you have been enjoying your life so much in Mexico! Why do you think you have to move back due to your age?
Good on you for living life to the fullest
We live in Tucson, Arizona and are preparing to move permanently to La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico in about 15 months. We are currently both 61. We had a new house built and are looking forward to the slower pace of life!
@@keinohrtini not movlng back now!
I am sorry for your loss
I am so sorry for your losses. God bless you
Hi Nisha, I say life is short, go have a wonderful adventure....don't worry too much about many years into the future, things will work themselves out.
I live in Sisters, Or…Central Oregon is God’s Country, isn’t it!
??!
Me too! We live in Bend in Central Oregon, USA and love the SUNSHINE, all 4 seasons and the very cute downtown. I love this channel by the way, keep up the good work!
@@debbieforhim7800 small world! I raised my family in Bend for 28 years 😊
Awwww he looks like a baby when he's wet❤ my dog loved the blow dryer too! Your mom looked pretty❤ so sorry about your freezers!!!!
Yo soy española y veo tus videos para practicar inglés (because I am an English teacher in Spain)😊
Yo te enseño español encantada y tu me prestas tu casa en Inglaterra para yo ir ahí porque me encanta tu país (jajaja el mundo al revés))
Love your videos! Welcome to Spain and to learn Spanish ❤
Es genial escuchar eso xx
We too are nearing retirement and already looking into which country would suit us best. Healthcare, Food, cost of living and language are our biggest concerns but we know for certain we'd like something cooler than hot. Living in a hot and humid climate already is something we've had our fill with.
I love the long casual dresses y'all are wearing 🎉
Yes!
Lovely to see you back.
Ooh wow. Nice sha. You look fabulous darling. So relaxed. The hanks for bringing the s Along. Xx❤🎉
I think you make some very valid points in terms of things to consider if moving to Spain.
Hi Nisha ,glad you had a lovely time with your family ,your mum looked amazing in that wig
I would love to live abroad but sadly have to many family commitments in uk
Loved the vlog ...
Spain looks amazing!
So much to consider and lots to think about before we finally decide
- and lots of research to be done. xxx
I have friends who go to spain in their lovely campervan in the winter ..they love it
Lovely video. Your looking lovely, as is your mum xx
So pleased you had a lovely family holliday ❤
Love seeing your mom. Sorry for your electric ⚡️ disaster. I love Spain. I would get something not too expensive in Spain and keep your home in England.
Happy to see your video. Your hair is gorgeous!!! U look great!
We pride ourselves on being survivors when it gets warm, again.
xo~linda
Ooooh my goooodness Louis is SoOooo cute! That little face❤❤❤ oh that was such a treat thank you! X x
Very glad your back
Hugs from Australia!💖💖💖💖
Mom - omg Im a long haired kind of girl - but I LOVED that short wig on your mom. It made her look 20 years younger :)
Agreed
Good morning Nisha ☕🧡🌼
Keep the videos rolling girl !!!
I miss your company 😘😘😘
I retired at 55 years old and I'm now 59. Living in Canada and yes our winters are miserable but I don't see myself leaving my 2 sons behind for another country. I will have to settle just visiting Spain which is on my bucket list.
The thing about retiring is the options.Go and have fun.
Your mum lives Malaga and you visit so it’s a known area.
Enjoy
Very true!
So nice to see you again.
I actually enjoy all the seasons, each with its own beauty. I would also miss our history and humour.
I can’t imagine all the loopholes you would have to jump through just to move…yikes!!!! However I would love to see you there to enjoy your life and your mom. That would be so wonderful.
Now….tell me how was Louis when he was reunited with you? ❤❤
Love from NC 🇺🇸
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Louis is always so happy to see us, he licks us for ages lol
Ahhh it's like having an old friend back for a chat ❤ funny you say all this, my husband and I are seriously thinking about moving to south of France in about 5 to 10 years, my husband works from home in I.T. so he can work anywhere. But I have all the same worries as u. Esp about how it would affect my 2 boys. And what happens when one of us dies, my husband laughed so much when I told him that concern. But I can't stand the weather here and everyone is miserable and it's so expensive. Think we need to visit Malaga, it looks so lovely xxx
