  • Today, Al and Harry are joined by Fr Calvin Robinson, political commentator, writer, and broadcaster and, perhaps most relevant for this conversation; a deacon in the Free Church of England.
    Robinson opposes the teaching of critical race theory in British education and argues that the teaching of black history and lessons concerning black people should be taught within the context of British history and not taught separately. He has also defended colonialism and the British Empire, and has opposed reparations for slavery.
    Robinson described himself as an Evangelical Catholic and he has spoken in favour of disestablishing the Church of England in order to free it from political influence and allow alternative Anglican churches to thrive.
    Robinson is strongly critical of the leadership of the Church of England, accusing it of liberal political bias.

      Calvin Robinson always comes across as polite, well thought out and well intentioned. I can't understand why so many people are so utterly vile toward him.

      Thank you Rev. Murphy, Whilst it's fair to say that our founders have differing views on religion and denomination, and we didn't start out expressly to talk Christianity, I think we all agree that the institution of the Anglican church is important in the English context and the further it strays from traditional Christian orthodoxy, the more challenging life is likely to become for traditional Christians in England. If you'd be interested in coming on to talk about your own experiences please get in touch via our contact email: contact@wellingtonproject.co.uk

    That's right, Stand Firm in the faith, no matter what our denomination is. We're seeing too many churches in the US being overtaken by heretical views and practices. It's hard for new believers to find a church that won't lead them down that road to hell.

      Thanks for listening John, we certainly enjoyed recording it. Calvin was a very gracious guest and generous with his time.

    I first saw Reverend Calvin Robinson on the podcast "Relatable," with hostess Missus Allie Stuckey. He is a wonderful brother in the Lord, and I personally see him is a modern Bishop Thomas Cranmer or Bishop John Ryle. Great interview!

    The British Government maybe unintentionally will create religions martyrs by the change in the law. Which confuse me because King Charles III is the head of the Church of England and sovereign both simultaneously. Freedom of religion is a classical liberal value.

    That rant is even funnier when you know that Calvin was a gaming journalist!

    I've recently moved back to Toronto (Canada) and I honestly don't know which church to attend. I think the Baptist church hasn't bought into this cultural heresy but I will ask them what their doctrine is. It's very stressful. No wonder Jesus primarily spoke out of doors apart from the craziness of his modern day church. He's coming back VERY soon ever😊yone

      Albertan here, I myself am Catholic and even the church I used to go to has strayed from tradition and how I remember it. I have purposely chosen to attend Latin Masses, when I look at Rome pursuing pleasing the world, not Christ, and supressing tradition like Latin Masses or traditional orders, it tells me that is what these modernists fear, but also, it was the Mass from like 300AD, all the Saints and forefathers Mass until they changed it, it is something so special I don't even have words

    ekklesia - called out ones ( True Church)

  • @kimbirch1202
    @kimbirch1202 Рік тому

    Jesus teaches the oneness of all life in God, as pure Spirit.
    Bodies, and the behaviour of bodies, has nothing to do with our true God - given nature, as spirit.
    " It is the Spirit that gives life; the flesh counts for nothing " John 6 : 63.
    These so - called Christians would do well to study the truth teachings of Jesus, before spouting their own beliefs, or using OT nonsense that Jesus rejected.

    • @WorcesterClub
      @WorcesterClub  Рік тому

      It's repeated again in the New Testament. You would do well to read and ingest it all and not simply cherry pick the parts you like.

    • @kimbirch1202
      @kimbirch1202 Рік тому

      @Wellington Project To cherry pick is to ignore the teachings of Jesus Christ, and pick and choose amongst other parts of the Bible.
      If those other parts disagree with the teachings of Jesus, then they are obviously false.
      A child of ten could easily tell that most of the Old Testament completely contradicts those teachings, as it portrays a vicious bloodthirsty, external God figure that does not exist, according to Jesus.
      If you read the gospels he teaches a God of unconditional love , who judges no one.
      " GOD JUDGES NO ONE " JOHN 5 : 22.
      As such you cannot be a Christian and believe in a judgmental God.
      OBVIOUSLY !!!

    • @kimbirch1202
      @kimbirch1202 Рік тому

      @Wellington Project why would anyone in their right mind want to believe in a God who judges them ?
      Such a God must be feared, and not loved.
      There is no god external to us anyway.
      " The Kingdom of God is within you "
      God is life itself, and it is impossible to be separate from God.
      This is all Jesus teaches.

    • @kimbirch1202
      @kimbirch1202 Рік тому

      @Wellington Project Jesus spent 5 years teaching Truth to anyone with the ears to listen.
      " you shall know the Truth and the Truth shall set you free "
      Other Biblical writers did NOT know the Truth, as they were not Christ.
      Without those teachings of Jesus Christ, there could be no such thing as Christianity, obviously.
      Yet the bigots try to use other rubbish parts of the Bible to justify their own homophobia, and misogyny .
      Truly they are the work of the devil.

    • @kimbirch1202
      @kimbirch1202 Рік тому

      @Wellington Project Can you really not understand that ,before the corrections of Jesus, primitive folk had simply made up some God figure , in THEIR likeness, with human like emotions??
      No Christian could possibly believe in such a weird, sadistic God who goes around destroying his own beloved creation.
      Utter madness!!
