We hiked together from Kuznice up to the Murowaniec hostel and Czarny Staw and saw Kasprowy Wierch from there. Video coming soon. 😁 We agree. Lovely views! 😍
Making me depressed now watching your vids ha ha only joking. 😂🤣 Not long before i can travel again . Which was the easier climb Giewont or Rysy? My friend who lives in Poland says that Zakopane is a real tourist place. Is it busy at the moment with covid still around?
Hi Paul. Giewont is the easiest by far. Takes half the time and a lot less effort than Rysy. Zakopane is still very busy now even though it is only Polish tourists there. The mountains are packed with people now the weather is good. I think everyone is so relieved to be able to be outdoors again!
Sie ma! Another great one to enjoy and watch from the comfort of ones sofa! Warm enough out for flip-flops today which is another bonus...And you do make it look easy however a certain degree of fitness is required so very fair play to you. Totally understand why it gets a bit busy given the good weather etc., those good folk need a place for a quick bite, refreshments et al so local businesses gain just as much. Btw re the Rysy hike your pronunciation is spot on. Nazdrowie and narazie ; )
Sie ma! Glad you enjoyed it in comfort! 😄 For our final one we go from Kuźnice up to Czarny Staw Gąsienicowy and I climb to Kościelec. A busy trail to the lake but less on the peak. We thoroughly enjoyed the Tatras despite the crowds. I can certainly see the attraction!
On a separate note last time I was circa 6k metres I was on climb-out from eg., Luton airport hehe..jokes aside have recommended your vlogs where I can ;-)
Wow. I didn't know about that. There's no way you'd get me up there in a storm. The forecast was perfect on the day I hiked but the wind was still ferocious!
I saw the report, very sad indeed. Local topography makes climate all the more unpredictable in this case mountainous. Worth also perhaps noting - without composition of thunderstorms/lighting etc., our very existence on this planet may well have been compromised. www.indianapublicmedia.org/amomentofscience/lightening-helps-fertilize-soil.php
If your wife doesn't like trekking but you would like to show her some landscapes - take her to Kasprowy Wierch ... there is a rail which goes to the 1987m high summit :) (but I reccomand you to buy tickets online at pkl.pl to avoid long queues)
Beautiful Poland and polish nature! 👌
We really loved the Tatras. Stunning views! 😍
Yes, take Mandy to Kasprowy Wierch , lovely views😁🧐🙂

Hello. On 22nd August, 2019 there was weather breakdown in Tatry. Lightning strikes the Giewont's cross. 5 victims and 157 persons hurt.
Wow. I didn't know about that. There's no way you'd get me up there in a storm. The forecast was perfect on the day I hiked but the wind was still ferocious!
@@FrugalTravellers Mountain are dangerous. Weather can be completly changed within a few minutes.

Mandy here. I like trekking but am not a fan of heights or walking along scree. Thank you for your suggestion though.
In the next video we both trek in that area from Kuźnice up to Czarny Staw Gąsienicowy. 😊😊
mount giewont , shaped like sleeping prince with a cross on his nose
Haha. Never heard that one before but I can see it. 👍
which was your favorite hikes (mostly in terms of nice views) in zakopane besides this and Rysy? Or were these 2 the best?
Those and the one the Mount Koscielec.
