*tfw your mimeosome voice chip gets damaged, and all they can use to repair is an old 8bit sound card one of the Outfitters had on them for some reason* Dangit, I blame Lao for this!
+StaphyJr Thank you very much! Glad you liked it. The original theme is already wonderful... I just imagined how that beauty could feel if I was playing XCX on the NES... those days... good memories!
+Some Nerd With a Bad Username Thank you. I finally decided to consider this game "finished" after 500+ hours of gameplay and exploring 100% of Mira. But remixing Uncontrollable was just as fun, so, as the game itself claims (SPOILERS)... this story never truly ends!
Titan of Plasma I haven't 100% the game yet, but I've done all the affinity missions and story stuff and aaaaaagh it's infuriated how much plot is missing
Welcome to the Xeno series. The scope of these games are so massive that it takes a while for the plot to pick up. But when it does, it's worth it. In the case of XCX, it's simply a part 1 to a massive space opera
I got it basically it launch, and dropper it for 3 years because I couldn't figure out the controls. I came back to it after picking up XC on the N3DS XL.
first time ive come to this channel, by the will of the recommendations I was summoned here. this is REALLY good and you still have sub 500 subs? wew. I'm surprised. you deserve more attention.
Thank you. There are, in fact, many other good composers who try to stay true to the 8-bit concept and use programs like FamiTracker or DefleMask, for instance. These trackers emulate the real sound hardware that the consoles used. The resulting music can even be written on a cartridge and be played on the console it was intended for. Thank you for your words. If you like "true" 8-bit renditions you can try adding "FamiTracker", "DefleMask" or "LSDJ" to your searches. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
This song probably sounds better to someone who hasn't heard the original. Because then you can just hear the 8 bit and not the lyrics. Which is difficult to understand. Until you watch a video telling what these bizarre lyrics are. Which is why I came to my conclu that this sounds better if you've never heard the lyrics to the original. Because right now it sounds amazing. I wanna just listen to this but the lyrics keep playing in my mind.
Thanks, Thingy Man. I was, in fact, thinking about Theme X or The Key We've Lost for my next XCX project. For now, I'll probably focus on the latter, since there are not 8-bit remixes of that song yet, as far as I know. There is, on the other hand, at least one chiptune remix for Theme X already on UA-cam. Anyway, I'll work on it sooner or later, for sure. BTW, I take somewhat long to complete a remix, I'm not a full-time composer or anything like that. But with time I'll build a nice library of songs and covers, and, surely I'll create an account for downloads in the near future. Man, I was also thinking on an 8-bit version of Oblivia-daytime, that melody just asks for a retro remix... OK, OK, I'm suffering from composer's ADHD. But I digress. If you're patient, you will see a Theme X cover from me , I hope, sooner than later.

FamiTracker. There's now a fork called 0CC-FamiTracker which I use now, and j0CC-FamiTracker which is a less buggy fork from this fork. FamiTracker Beta 5 version (the one I used for this video): forums.famitracker.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=173 0CC-FamiTracker 0.3.14.5: hertzdevil.info/programs/ (the one I use now; later versions are not very stable) j0CC-FamiTracker: github.com/jimbo1qaz/j0CC-FamiTracker/releases/tag/j0.6.0a I've not tested this last one yet, but it's the only fork which is still being actively developed as of now.

The beginning sounds like a MegaMan Battle Network battle theme.
Wow, I'm impressed. This was surprisingly good. Nice job.
Thank you, Christo. Unfortunately, there aren't many XCX 8-bit remixes yet, but I'm glad you liked one of the few ones out there.
I cried. So beautiful.

Oh hell yeah, nice job. I got Xenoblade X at launch and I still haven't seen everything. Always nice to see people doing cool stuff with the game.

So good i ripped it from youtube and downloaded it as a MP3
The duet section was fantastic.
Thank you. It's in fact my favorite part from the original and, perhaps, one of the reasons why I chose to remix Sawano's work.

Holy cripes, this version of the song somehow sounds more emotional than the original one!

I just thought of something: imagine someone singing to this remix. The juxtaposition would be beautiful.
Dante (Sir Spacebar) I guess we're thinking differently about it.
Pretth sure theres a video of the vocals for it on youtube
meme master I mean with this particular remix.
Masked Champion i am very sorry
Masked Champion But this has already included the vocals on the melody. In order for it to be sung along if would have to be the instrumental version.
Wow, that sounds great. Straight to the Music I Love playlist.
Nice work, and the title screen with the "squad joined" jingle was brilliantly done!

Beautiful. As a guy who transcribes game songs and used Famitracker once, I appreciate the effort
It's freaking beautifuuuuuuul!!!
I would so play 100 hours of this version of the game, because your remix of the music is just a delight. (The singing, that's amazing.)
Thanks. This was my first FamiTracker remix ever, I'm glad it's still viewed and liked.
