His rambling about deep learning accounting for how he was able to do it in 3 month doesnt really make sense, in the end he also needs to write the code that does the deep learning, train that, and then write the actual code that uses the result, that's not possible to do in 3 month time (and thats why he didnt do it in 3 month time).
