Hey everyone! Hopefully this helps if anyone is curious. Not sure if I’ll place this in my current LO video yet just because of the configuration. Let me know what types of animation mods you are using. Seems like this works with my existing ones. 👍
🙏 I felt like sometimes it was a bit finicky but then I would just go back in a change all of the settings again if I had the issue. You can straight up disable Ultimate Dodge in the spells if you want and keep the smoother movement.
Matt - any chance you could showcase animation mods that cover walking, running, fighting, idle, etc? Im currently using VeroLevi Animations AIO, but you may know of a better one
I simply cannot dodge at all on xbox. Either theres a control that diesnt work or theres a mod conflict, although i have no mods that change animation or combat
The sneak button will control that. I use Sneak Style 2 so when you press the sneak button when standing, you just go into sneak. But if you’re sneaking and moving, pressing it again will dodge or sidestep depending on what you picked. Someone mentioned that one in the comments so I’ve been using that style.
@@Matt_the_TechRanger I’m not sure what mod it’s conflicting with but every time I try to use it the chest of my character disappears and as of last night I got gray face too
@@EasiestEmu that sounds like you’re missing textures that were there previously. I don’t think animation mods would cause that. Not familiar with that other mod you mentioned. But you can’t add more animation mods that do the same thing.
@@Matt_the_TechRangeryeah I had it below some armor and texture changes which is probably why. But how do you get your head and movement to look in the direction your camera is? Mine is still static
Hey my guy is just not dodging but i did the same as you, and on my last playtrough i user ultimate dodge mod and never had problems. But with this one i cant Dodge
Ultimate Dodge is included in this mod. So if you had that enabled on a previous save the maybe that mod data is still lingering. If it is a straight up new save, I selected ‘Dodge only’ in the in-game menu when configuring. That seemed to work for me (even though I probably won’t use that much).
No that's just for when you click in the left stick to try and dodge. If you don't set it up then when you do that, your character can free in mid-air. You can uninstall the Ultimate Dodge part of the mod via your Spells but I think that can be kind of problematic.
@@Matt_the_TechRanger oh okay for sure bud I got the dodge working thanks to you and the turning wasn't working at first then I adjusted and moved a mod and that started working
@@jaavonnispartairious-wv4yp 🙏 The mod description kind of lead me to believe I should place it higher. Since I was using XP32 at the time and chose that version, it needed to go below XP32 which needs to be at the bottom. Probably good down there in case you have any other animation mods so it can overwrite anything it needs to. I have a few in this current list. Everything seems to work though! Modding... it's a helluva drug.
@@ahmadali-mw3ov you won’t totally get rid of crashing since any game can do it but if it’s happening too often, you may want to contact Bethesda Support. Close out any apps you might be using with Skyrim (like quick resume games on Series consoles). If you’re trying to load a save that has a bunch of mods on it at one point then that can also cause some crashing.
@@Matt_the_TechRanger Believe me brother, I have tried these solutions before, but unfortunately none of them will work, and I ended up jumping again into the modded Fallout 4. Man, how I love this game so much, and for me it is better than Skyrim.

No but I think Immersive Movement is. I just haven’t used it. There’s a video in the mod description for Immersive Movement if you wanted to check it out.
That would have been a funny thumbnail. Wish I’d thought of that 😂 I prefer the sidestep but don’t think I’ll use it a ton since that Right Stick button might wear out. Neat that NPCs can do it. You can disable the Dodge mod part but I really like this one for the full range of motion since it include a couple other mods that make player behavior look smoother.
The sneak style changes how the sneak/dodge button works not how sneaking animations work. For example sneak style 2 means when moving and pressing the sneak button you will dodge but standing still while pressing the sneak button will make you crouch. Dude is making a review video and doesn’t even know how the mod works.
If you aren’t seeing what’s in the video then you may need to move it or switch the version you’re using. I was just using the XP32 version since I had that and placed it under. Didn’t look through the description on the other version but would recommend reading it for placement.

YES MY FAVORITE DODGE MOD EVER has never let me down
It’s been cool so far! The movement alone just feels next-gen. Less mechanical. That sidestep might be my fav. RIP right stick button though 😅

Oh word that’s what I’m using with this one 😂. I can look at some more at some point.
@@Matt_the_TechRanger that would be awesome, brother. Also, thanks again for another great video!
Idk if you've found any mods for what you wanted, but I've been using GDB's animations, they cover pretty much every facet of movement

Does clicking in the left stick not do anything for you? That’s the action button for a dodge or sidestep when you set it up.
I got it working. It was because of an alt start mod, and I had to beat the unbound quest first
@@LavisYeen good that you encountered that and found out why. That’s interesting that that would keep you from using the dodge.

I've got a bug with the mod where the spell for the ultimate dodge isn't in my alterations section any idea's? Thanks in advance
I’ve always just used the ‘All’ option to get there. Not sure what category it’d be under.
I know this video was posted a while ago but by any chance would you know if this mod would work with Gritty Animations and/kr SkySA Olivier Kenjustu?
Can’t speak on the second one but I’m using it with Gritty Animation currently. In my most recent Skyrim Load Order video.

You can try reinstalling it if you think it's acting weirder than normal. The dodging is from the Ultimate Dodge Mod that's bundled in.
