- Zeiss made the best lenses for many years, they got bored of it they were so good. Modern glass is not the same. They focus on obtaining the sharpest brick wall pictures corner to corner, because that's what you hobo photographers test in your review videos. Meanwhile, real glass has character. Ehh there's no such thing as "3d pop" or "microcontrast". If it did exist, you could compare it between lenses, which means you can measure it, which means you can design specifically to target it... and nobody does.

im not carnivore and dont own any cameras - ive never bought one. i found you back in the day when you were vegan and watched you ever since 😂 i watch most of your vids on both channels. you're right i don't really care about the camera stuff. i just watch you because you are interesting, funny, relaxing. i wonder if im in the minority.

The 3d pop is ours! That poor woman who turned into Toneh! Flat Earthing or grounding? Wish we had 4k- 6k 400fps, but we can wait! I have 2 bridge cameras, they are really good for just walk around shooting. I would still use a DSLR set up, but sometimes it is just easier not to have to carry a bunch of lens. There is draw backs!

I had a Zeiss Planar 160mm f3.8 Seris 1a. The first Zeiss Planar ever made, it was made in 1895. That had so much character, much more than your modern Planars.
So now that Kasey has opened my eyes to the fact that photographers are exactly like Agent Smith from "The Matrix", what do we do? The Canon wins, hands down, on the main shot imo. But the pop jumps out of the Zeiss on one or two of your Vegetable Police shots there at the end.
This is my new favorite channel BTW. It's outstanding!
I have the Zeiss planar 85 1.4 as well and it’s a pretty spectacular lens, and can be had relatively cheap today
