Thank you for this! I've just started my first job beyond a graduate level and have been battling with feeling like I'm a "fraud". But knowing that imposter syndrome is almost a good thing (as it confirms I am pushing my boundaries) is a massive help!
Hi Mike, I am 31 year old engineer, been really sucessful on my job and I got the oportunity of becoming a manager on a diferent area I have only theory knowlage on. I been checking your videos because its my first time as a manager. They have been great, it has helped me not only survive my first week with sharks at work but also make a good first impression to directives. Please continue to share your knowlage, its greatly appreciated. P.S.: There are big challenges for me because not all older people(40 and plus) agree of me getting the job. But I will work hard to prove that I was the best fit for the job. Thxs.

Hi, this is really an opportunity for you. Becoming a manager in your own expertise domain makes you rely too much on this instant credibility as opposed to developing the critical skills required to be a good people leader. In short this is good and you are asking yourself the right questions. Keep it up man :) Max
Good luck - I am currently looking to transition into management and I already feel nervous. lol All the best and let us know how your first week goes ;) Cheers Jim
I just found your channel today and already watched a lot of your videos. Thank you so much for these as they all hit specific points that are so relevant today as always. All the best and looking forward to watching many more of these. Cheers Jim

Been a manager for years now and still feel like an imposter. He's not wrong.
Right?
Everybody suffers from this...
fake it till you make it..
act as if ...
when you exude confidence you build confidence
