Lars and I have been friends for years, he's an east coast downhill legend and Masters World Champion. We recently went to Thunder Mountain and checked out a bunch of trails and wouldn't you guess... we eventually ended up on Fort Hill! Follow along for the ride and watch how a true master rides!

That big jump line looks more ridiculous every time I see it. I will say though...it looks like it's so well made that if you just commit to the speed, there's not a lot you have to do other than just ride off. I'd rather ride well made big stuff than sketchy smaller stuff that bucks and is inconsistent. The tech trail looked like a blast, and Lars was riding that so casually, and just blindly gapping everything possible. So fun to watch riders at that level!! Way to stay on his tire, even in the dust. I've had the "dust effect" before...and it's crazy how you can see the trail surface on GoPro, but in person...you can't see it at all. It takes "riding blind" to a new level. Great video!!

Comments in the video are gold! Pretty much how I always felt riding with Lars!

You are both amazing riders, and I almost always learn something from your videos. You've helped many of us older riders become a better climbers, jumpers, 'line pickers'... But Lars running Ft Hill blind for the first time while wearing the chest cam?! Shows he's really on a different experience level! Loved it!
