    In this part, you will be taken through the various settings of the Karma render node within the Solaris context. Concepts such as sampling, convergence modes, denoising, limits, and depth of field are addressed. These concepts are carried through to rendering with the Karma ROP node.

    9:13 good explanation on when to use path tracing. (when not a lot of bouncing is going on and there are thin objects)
    13:19 color limit kills all light and Fixes extrreme light areas but makes scenes darker. (fixes fireflies)

    Render preview node it will be handy hold drag into viewport without click and choose one of them. Thank u for the series

      I like also the way how it works in Davinci Resolve. You can click on node and click on button 1 or 2 to place node inside viewport

    Fantastic! just started playing with Karma and going through these videos too, is there one where it might explain how to have an object / vol not visible to camera? so it renders the cast shadows on the env and I can set the vol render separate.. thanks XD

    This is really cool session I learned alot
    Its been a while i am using the solaris materialX
    I am facing a issue when i am trying to export the shader to .mtlx, the mtlx code is different compared to the chess usd file .mtlx
    It would be really helpful if you can show the export method of shaders

    can anyone advise, for displacement maps how do i set the amount of subdivs at render time?
    i have a model and the disp maps applied in the principled shader/but the render seems to be subdivided one for the displacement, i want to sub dvi it 5 times at render time
    in my principled shader/displacement tab ive enabled enable texture displacement but theres no entry for how may times to subdivide (?)
