I want to Share my experience with VFS Bengaluru office yesterday. In our case me and my husband both have e-visa but our baby needed a sticker one. we went with all the required doc as mentioned in Checklist. Still they asked for few changes in Cover letter and a declaration letter (all typed) tath baby doesn't have rental agreement and it is on our name.
1. In cover letter they asked to put both of our names and signature and also asked to mention that baby doesn't have adhaar card along with other informations.
2. Declaration letter
3. sponsorship letter
4. Notarized Consent letter from both the parents
5. they took all our Passports (old too)
6. Rest docs as mentioned
The Lady there asked to get the cover letter and declaration letter within 30 mins which I ran and try to arrange but it took time. Later somehow we tried to manage to submit his application though she was not accepting my baby's application . I had to go visit again to the VFS as they forgot to collect our passports.
VFS can get very messy, hope your visa was sorted finally...

Hey, as you said one needs to show ear for passport size photo. As a Sikh, I do wear turban
So its not applicable in my case . Right?
I think you also need to have ears in the photo.
But you can let me know about your concern either on the helpline and mail them beforehand (details in video)
Else on the appointment day, they will ask you to get a new photo clicked on-spot and you can mention your concerns.
Is it necessary that family members itself should give the sponsorship letter ....
can a person outside family who can provide a 6month bank statement provide a sponsorship letter?
Usually its family, whether your father or uncle at max. Sometimes, its also agency or company who is sponsoring you. For others, it's tougher to build the case.

There should be two filters for E Visa
a) Date of Schengen visa
b) E Visa should be given only from the Date of Schengen Visa
Date of Schengen Visa and E Visa to Turkey should Match .

Correction: E-visa just takes 5 min to get it processed once you apply and pay the visa fee, but not 1-2 days 😊

For the residency proof should we submit the Bangalore proof or Kolkata? If Bangalore is Aadhar card alone is enough or would require more proofs
As per vfs checklist, you have to submit notarised rental agreement as current address proof. Other supporting documents are address proof letter from company, voter card, electricity bill, water bill.

Kolkata is under New Delhi. You need to take your appointment for Kolkata office and submit your documents. They will send to Delhi and get the stamping done.

Vfs global charging much higher fees than actual visa cost in the name of their handling or service charges. If Turkish govt is serious in promoting tourism from India they must address this issue

If you don't have enough time i.e. 10-12 working days between appointment date and traveling date then the visa officer who accepts your doc will suggest this. No other alternative

You need noc from your directorate which is very hard, best is don't show you are govt employee

Here's our situation:
1. My wife is currently working in an IT company, and she has her last 6 months' payslips and a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from her employer.
2. As for me, I quit my job a year ago and now run a service business related to sports. However, the registration certificate only has my address and not my name. This business does not require GST registration.
We would like to know:
1. How can I apply for a tourist visa given my current employment status?
2. Can we arrange a sponsorship letter and fund documents from my father-in-law to support our visa application?

its easier to get Turkey visa than any of the other 3
