Afraid that people do not respect me is my idol. This worship drives my relationships away. This is the first pastor who teaches us something that nobody had ever taught us before. Usually , mentors teach us what to do with the fruit, but not many of them know that the cause of our pain is worhip our idols, not God. Thank you pastor D.
This is sooo true and GOD is SOO good to me!!! I was just praying about my habit of smoking cigarettes, and I was asking God for repentance of me backsliding and smoking on my fast. I was so remorseful and my spirit was so disrupted by this mishap that is frightened me BAD!! I started praying and asking him to forgive me cause I have been praying, crying, and doing anything I can to try and stop smoking them and still I would fall back. this has been a real serious struggle for me but I think today ( this all happened about 2 hrs ago mind you) was a true real wake up call and then to see THIS as SOON as I open up my laptop!! this is nothing but God!! thank you father! thank you Jesus! thank you. This is confirmation for me to stop. I Love You Jesus!
I would recommend fasting I’m currently doing a 40 day fast because I need to deny my flesh & pleasure while intentionally seeking & feasting on the Bible and prayer
Start with a 1-2 day fast. Be intentional about prayer & reading your Bible. Be honest with God & the Holy Spirit will help & give you strength to make it though. Try to depend on God & not your own strength but meditating on verses like Matthew 4:4.

Continuing from group therapy at newbirth tonight online I talked about a miracle of being asked to be in choir of Whitney Houston video in 1989 when she was a superstar not dead. I knew nothing about her personally but I believe telling her exhusband Bobby brown in 2004 about being in the video at Carnegie hall he probably thought I was wanting him or her. Neither. I wasn't expecting to see him nor looking. But I won't flag their plays. It was an honor both ways to meet both since they weren't married yet. I was married though in 2004 in graduate school. All heartburn for me due to divorce. But I will always have love fir the man I'm no longer married just better separated.
I dont care anout who thinks negative about me. Thats their problem. Dont usher me like im an idiot. Sometimes you have to deal with yourself and ignore people who think ill of everything.
Fasting is a good way to start. You have to deny your flesh & put yourself in an uncomfortable position so that you can grow. Also ask the Holy Spirit for strength & he will help you. Some cycles are DEMONIC so fasting & prayer can help you break those cycles experience breakthrough by the power of the Holy Spirit
