My S18 resets back to 40 degrees after power off and on again. Sow you have to adjust it everytime jou turn it on.

Correct, you do not need to change it. It is option for those who lean their wheel more than normal I.e. at skatepark or off-road trails etc.
There is one situation! If you are riding in a Bike Park. The corners are tilted. You can get pretty fast to a cut off.

Kingsong is one decent EUC manufecturer , I like kingsong
my app showed me settings that are now gone. I am totally confused now. Think one setting was called flying start. it was standard at 1km. but I changed it to 3. I wanted to play some more with it. But can't find it again.

@@YASAJTV I did ipad and android. Now I am starting to think the setting only shows on a new device before the first 10 or so km to unlock the higher speed. Their were like 3 or 4 more settings. I have 2 wheels. ( the same , just got the new one today )

Personal thing, it is about what you like and what your requirements are. My biggest requirement is luxury ride
i tried . it did not work. app says 68 degrees but still beeps at 40🤷🏽♂️

Shaman is one the crowned best wheel of 2020, you will love sherwan.
I just put mine on 70. I don't mine to ever shut off on a technical MTB trail.
