Oh that's brilliant news!! Congratulations!! Please subscribe to my channel if you haven't already done so... that'll help me out!! Well done once again!!
I’d say Isleworth is the easiest test route it’s mostly dual carriageways, straight roads and roundabouts mostly involved except the hardest challenge is roundabouts which is a challenge for people
Hi there. Thanks for watching and supporting my channel. Please subscribe if you haven't already done so... if you already have - thank you so much!! All the best!!
Hi there. Thanks for tuning in. That particular road is within a 20mph speed zone. As far as I remember there are signs and road markings to indicate this. The SLOW painted on the road is there to encourage drivers to slow down... usually there will be a hazard ahead such as a bend, junction, hill etc
Hey there, can you please explain why you didn't give way to the bus at 17:50? My understanding is that you should give way to vehicles ahead that are turning right since they are approaching towards the driver door (i.e. the right). Is it because you got there before them slightly?
Hiya Just had a quick look at the video at 17:50. Looks like we both wanted to turn right. Had we both got there at same time then it would have been a bit of a standoff situation but because I got there first it made sense for me to go first... no point stopping and waiting for the bus to arrive, that would have just made it a bit awkward
Thanks again Kevin. I finally had my test today and passed first time with 1 minor. Your videos and replies to my questions helped a ton so thank you so much and hope you continue to help others. ♥️
@christopherknight2872 hey there!! That's absolutely fantastic news!! Congratulations!! I wish you all the best for the future and happy motoring!! Oh and please subscribe to my channel if you haven't already done so!! Thanks!!
Hi Ridan Thanks for tuning in and please do subscribe if you find the content helpful. The Highway Code states that drivers are allowed to drive/parked within the dashed lines if unavoidable. Obviously the word "unavoidable" can be interpreted in different ways... so you have just got to apply common sense when deciding whether to use the cycle lane or not. You won't necessarily fail if you block a cyclist, although each scenario/circumstance is different... so the examiner will have to make that decision based on the situation.
Thanks again for you videos! Are you able to confirm that the 8 routes you've uploaded at Isleworth are still active/used at the center or are these old routes?
Hiya... DVSA stopped publishing their actual test routes many years ago. These routes are just ones that have been used on my own pupils over the 15 years that I have been a driving instructor... so yes they are old but I can't see DVSA completely inventing brand new routes all the time.
The route used for test candidates will be selected by the examiner at random on the day of the test. My videos are for guidance, but ultimately, there is no way of knowing the exact route that will be selected on the day of the real test. 8am is an early test so I'm guessing they might possibly want to avoid areas with heavy traffic. Good luck
I commented yesterday about some roads and you helped. Literally this morning I just passed 2 faults at isleworth. Thanks for all the videos and help

Thanks for tuning in!! Yep some of the large roundabouts on the A316 can be tricky!!

Great video!
Thank you Maia!!
Just had a quick question, at 1:12 are you going 20mph since it says slow on the road and also because it doesn’t suggest 20mph?

@@kmkldrivingschool ah! Got it. Do you feel that'd be acceptable during a driving test or would be better to play it safe in a similar scenario?
Perfectly acceptable in a driving test!!

4:03 are you allowed to go over the bike lane here when stopping? if a cyclist comes by and you are blocking them would you fail?
