13:50 I'm guessing it was originally intended for the player to start off the encounter with a chunk of their health gone because of the Arkham Knight shooting you in the scene prior. However, they must have changed that and had you start with full health but forgot to change it where on reloads that you're given full health. Something along those lines.
Actually, I think it is because of the brute that comes in. The game assumes on reload that you didn't counter him, so the game counts it as if you failed it.
When the batmobile was destroyed, i was honestly hoping that we'd have to do the rest of the game with one of the older ones - fighting the tanks without being in a tank ourselves might've been cool
One of my favourite things to do in this game is to leave the guy with the detective mode tracker to last (easy enough to do, just go in and out of detective vision regularly), then stand right behind him while he scans for me, they actually added a unique interaction for when you're right behind them and it's really fun

OK there's plenty to complain about for knights story, but Joker being included again was a fucking great choice because that end segment was fucking amazing and one of the best endings to Joker and Batman's "relationship" ever.
They handled it really well in Arkham Knight, its honestly one of the best parts about it. I think what irks people is just that Joker was already the antagonist of the previous 3 games.. .they returned to the honeypot too many times. Doesn't matter if its great, its too much.
Tbh Hush had the potential to be the big bad in Arkham knight. All that build up in AC with him taking Bruce identity just to get caught so easily was a let down. Joker felt overused even in death.
The problem with bringing Joker back too is the fact that Rocksteady decided to kill him off in the last game, and then basically went back on their decision to ACTUALLY kill off the Joker.
At 13:50 I believe the missing health is from the quick time event you have to do on the brute when he walks in after the knight. The game might have assumed you missed it and didn't let you redo it.

12:50 I think the reason why your health was missing is because while Batman is reeling from the gunshot wound, you have to counter a militia brute trying to kick him while he is down and I'm assuming restarting makes the game think that you failed that quick time event even if you didn't
If you want an extra challenge, play with the Batmobile in first person without taking damage, it’s a small thing and is easy to adjust to, but when you hit a wall it’s really disorienting
If the tanks were manned, batman would either have to reconsider his no killing rule conciously or use some tech that renders the tanks inoperable. Instead of just blowing them up.

Man, that final tank battle SUUUUCKS. Especially on Hard. I remember having so much trouble with it during my first and second play throughs. I’m one of those people that think all the Batmobile crap ruins this game, so I was raging pretty hard on that fight.
The video is both impressive and (for me) informative because I forgot half the mechanics in this. Like using the disruptor gun on anti-detetctive boys, and hacking drones.
That bit about pumpkin hill in sonic adventure 2 paired with the subtle music in the background unlocked so many memories of running around aimlessly as knuckles trying to find the emeralds on that level. Thank you nerdbit
The portions in ace chemicals could be better optimized for this kind of run. You dont need to take out the guys to tell you where everybody is you can skip that entirely. Once you are able to run around after scouting the troops you can go directly into the room that opens up the door for the batmobile and do you tank killing then. Then take the guys out on the platform to get access to the ramp. Then you can either go to guy being held where the Arkham knight will appear or go fight the tanks where the elevator shaft is. Shoot the guys with the tank like done in the video, go down rescue the guy in lower levels. Being both guys back at the same time, blow the hole in the way, destroy the tanks, take the guys out with the turret, then grapple up on the ledge before the battle with the large group of guys sneak to the door lever open the door and you can shoot almost everybody if not everybody with the batmobile before they make it to their hiding spot. If they make it there you just got to draw them out enough to either shoot them again or fight the remaining few people.
a fun fact, during that opening Scarecrow sequence, you can not shoot any of the gremlin things (actually just regular civilians), and when you find the cop’s body later there’s different dialogue depending on if you did shoot them vs if you didn’t
He wasn't on nightmare difficulty. He was on normal difficulty on nightmare difficulty. There are no counter buttons so you have to assume when you have to press the button

I remember Pre-Ordering it back in 2015, such a good game, the definition of short but sweet, such fun gameplay but doesn't over stay it's welcome, I spent hours in the challenge mod where you basically just had to fight a gauntlet of enemies and bosses, we really need a new Transformers game stat
I didn’t know the arkham knight would be Jason on my 1st playthough. I didn’t know he survived in the comics and I thought we were getting flashbacks to explain Batman’s weird obsession with suddenly trying to keep everyone out of harms way. Like when we saw the Oracle getting shot flashback.
If you're looking for exclusives I always reccomened the Master Chief collection and The first 2 Fable games, if just games in general any of the Metal Gear games or Dragon Age: Origins, Dragon age is my favourite game period so I'm a little biased lol

The guy in the booth at the beginning of the game, the one in the RED HOOD and demon mask, its a mask, as shown in the truck on the way to scarecrow, in the boxes in the truck are more masks, Its jason todd in the booth, some people think its anarchy because of the A carved into the table but the games files literally list the character model for the booth guy as DEMON JASON TODD. I like that.

Memory isn't perfect but I think in my first playthrough it took a chunk out of my health too so I can vouch for this.

Then take the guys out on the platform to get access to the ramp. Then you can either go to guy being held where the Arkham knight will appear or go fight the tanks where the elevator shaft is. Shoot the guys with the tank like done in the video, go down rescue the guy in lower levels. Being both guys back at the same time, blow the hole in the way, destroy the tanks, take the guys out with the turret, then grapple up on the ledge before the battle with the large group of guys sneak to the door lever open the door and you can shoot almost everybody if not everybody with the batmobile before they make it to their hiding spot. If they make it there you just got to draw them out enough to either shoot them again or fight the remaining few people.
Not gonna lie I kept asking myself why you didn’t get the armor upgrade. Then I realized that you’re doing a no hit play through.
a fun fact, during that opening Scarecrow sequence, you can not shoot any of the gremlin things (actually just regular civilians), and when you find the cop’s body later there’s different dialogue depending on if you did shoot them vs if you didn’t

He wasn't on nightmare difficulty. He was on normal difficulty on nightmare difficulty. There are no counter buttons so you have to assume when you have to press the button

YES! I remember Pre-Ordering it back in 2015, such a good game, the definition of short but sweet, such fun gameplay but doesn't over stay it's welcome, I spent hours in the challenge mod where you basically just had to fight a gauntlet of enemies and bosses, we really need a new Transformers game stat

I didn’t know the arkham knight would be Jason on my 1st playthough. I didn’t know he survived in the comics and I thought we were getting flashbacks to explain Batman’s weird obsession with suddenly trying to keep everyone out of harms way. Like when we saw the Oracle getting shot flashback.

The guy in the booth at the beginning of the game, the one in the RED HOOD and demon mask, its a mask, as shown in the truck on the way to scarecrow, in the boxes in the truck are more masks, Its jason todd in the booth, some people think its anarchy because of the A carved into the table but the games files literally list the character model for the booth guy as DEMON JASON TODD. I like that.
