here, have a prediction on how this occurs and on what will happen next: i would guess that, in this timeline at least, bf wasnt saved by pico, and bf actually corrupted the spookies. however, gf came in, and uncorrupted them at the end, and weakened cbf, therefore, allowing savestate to happen. however, pico was there, and made the process of replacing the files get corrupted, and therefore, savestate happened. TLDR: basically the resurgence timeline, but pico didnt save bf. it may just be the same timeline, idk tho.
