@@HOUExplorereven when driving i had people start going across the street as soon as I start crossing the intersection and they get mad when the cars actually had the right away as they had a red light/don't walk signal but some of these pedestrians are so stupid. Even as pedestrian I follow the law I never jeopardize my life in any way.
Having gotten off at Cityplace in your last posting, how did you get back to Akard for this journey? Did you somehow do some doubling back to film this? Guessing the speed in the subway must be 70mph, the train rockets along, the acceleration rate is quick for an electrically powered vehicle! Interesting how suburbanish the area is before arriving at White Rock Lake. Am amazed how much distance there is between stations once you leave downtown--digging the subway must've been a routing nighmare for surface drivers! Any idea where the Sliver LIne's route will go?
Yes. I retuned to Akard because my hotel room was not ready on the first video. In early 1990s, DART built the underground subway tunnels during the expansion of the US 75 Central Expressway (managed by TxDOT). That was wise move to work two projects in one setting but I bet the traffic was a nightmare during those time. I will have the videos of the Silver Line construction updates near the Belt Line Station (Red Line) and DFW Airport (TEXRail) soon. Silver Line is a crosstown train that will travel from northeast of Dallas to DFW Airport Terminal B (sharing station with TEXRail).
