That’s the same thing I was thinking. Poor catfish. You would think they’d have one. I wonder if a sock net would work well, the kind they use on koi in Japan, in addition to Josh’s net from AquaScape.

Pre internet knowledge.Old pro tip for you Josh use 2 nets to catch fish. One to catch one to chase in the catching net. Less stress on the fish.

Josh, Alguramis have petrol fins Those are the two fins behind the gills on the bottom of the fish near the head area. whether you want to call them streamers they're not tentacles cause they don't grab stuff. They are pectoral fins. same as any other fish that has petrol fence. in other tetrapods they would become the legs whereas the fins directly behind the gills would become the arm

A thumbnail is to show what to except to see in a video, sure we saw the catfish but it implies other things. Not trying to spread hate, just don't wanna see this lead to clickbait like some other animal youtbers.

The rescue is a service, we save all unwanted fish.
The tanks you see are often my display tanks (as a hobbyist) that I use for education on this channel to help fund the rescue. These fish are in my display tanks, and are my personal pets
Everyone needs fed, health in fish goes hand in hand with feeding. If a fish is not eating it is not healthy.
