@@srmatte1 yeah, but notice that the light was also red for the blue car when it moved into the intersection. Next time wait for a solid green light so you don't run into the type of people who try to beat the yellow light. Common sense, really - where I live it's very rare to see anyone even starting to move their cars until the traffic light has turned fully green. In this video alone I saw three cars starting to move into the intersection while the light was still red for them (and I am not counting the guy in the SUV), which makes me think this might be a common thing to do in Vancouver.
@@JcRabbit - Blue car had already advanced into the intersection when the light was green (tires were past the crosswalk) while it waited. If you have advanced into the intersection on green, you are allowed to complete your turn after it turns red, BUT you need to be sure that you still yield to any oncoming traffic, even ones that are doing something wrong. And SUV was definitely wrong trying (and failing) to beat the light. And to OP, yes, you are supposed to stop on yellow if you can. That's what the yellow light is for: stop if it is safe to do so. We've done a bad job teaching folks for years that the yellow basically just means "hey, the light is almost red" and don't teach it has rules just like red and green.
This is why trying to beat a yellow should count as a second charge of running a red light and considered a felony. SUV driver is going to get screwed. I feel for the other driver since they 100% had right of way. Of course I have to agree that they should have been more aware of the SUV not slowing down and been a bit more defensive in this situation.
@@JcRabbit The car was already in the intersection when it was green and couldn’t advanced because of oncoming cars. If he didn’t go then on red then they’d be hit by cars coming the other way.
14:27 - It sure looks like the driver of the dark car ran the red light; the light for the cammer was green before the other car entered the intersection. The driver of the white truck was already in the intersection, so he wasn't at fault, unless the local rules say otherwise (some assume the left-turning driver must ensure the turn is safe regardless of the light being red). In this case, the dashcam video should place the onus on the driver who ran the rad.
@@crtmojo2705 If you are making a left turn, it is your responsibility to move when it is clear, obviously it wasn't safe for him to move at that time which caused the sedan to swerve and hit the parked car. They are both at fault for sure.
@@unknownuser4060 yeah the truck should have and could have seen the car coming. Can’t tell you how many of these scenarios I’ve seen on dashcam. But insurance will probably rule the car at fault.
@@unknownuser4060In reality, if ur making a left turn on yellow and ur in the intersection, and it turns red. How long will u wait? From what I can see, the car was going fast, so by the time it was turning red, the black car wasn't near the intersection and when it turned red, the truck turned since he has to. and then the black car came flying through the red light. So i'd say black car is at fault not the truck.

Thanks to these videos I successfully didn’t get hit by a crazy dude. I was turning left onto a side street and it was completely clear. All of a sudden a truck whips around the corner ignoring the yield sign and almost hits me. I decided to stop in his way because I knew he would swerve and I was right. If I had tried to speed through I would have been hit. These videos have shown me to always predict and never think you are safe.
Florida is the only state with no bodily injury liability, and every state has some minimum for property damage liability. And half the states require uninsured motorist

Yes the cammer could have slowed down but when the car pulled into the lane they were, the cammer did change lane. The car then turned into the cammer's lane when the cammer was too close to avoid it. In my opinion it was not so avoidable due to that fact. If they swerved out they could have hit other cars.

5:58
the fact this guy didn't get any damage even after burning out his tires is incredible.
It looks like the lights changed before the car crossed the solid line of the intersection. White truck should be in the clear.
2:00 love that undercover truck! Not many signs of it being a cop 😅
Idiot rammed into a cop!😂
#13, excellent defensive driving, way to be aware of your surroundings! 👍👍
12:51 - No, the accident happened because the driver of the red car wasn't paying attention.
1:43, you physically removed their arms?!
#9 Whoever criticized the cammer for not stopping ain't too bright dawg.
As a guy who lives in Rockville and drives through that area, that second clip was nuts
😮 that’s why it looked familiar 😅
After watching these videos for a while, I'm starting to get convinced that every car should come with a dash cam as a standard option
#20. Loved the way the car came from the other side of the road out of nowhere and hits the truck then the passenger and driver gets out, looks at the damage to their car and stares at the truck driver in disbelieve...😂
😂😂
The grey car shouldn't have done that, but the truck did accelerate you can clearly hear it. that wasn't the mustang like he said it was.
@@Djay_FX No one said the mustang was accelerating. I don't think the truck did either but regardless if it did or not the car was 100% wrong! WTF was it on the other side of the road? And you can't just merge into a vehicle... 🤦♂
#13: Dude looked hella proud of himself, that he escaped the danger zone !!
Number 23 though. Lmao the damn people that are driving out here with us normals is crazy.
17. "I provided the car that was hit with the footage" you should've provided the other car (red sedan) with the footage because it looked like she had the right of way.
The Neon driver was probably all too happy to get their car totaled out... 🤣
There honestly needs to be some brief prison time for non fatal accidents caused by negligent driving. License suspensions, car impoundments, and fines do nothing to deter bad drivers from driving the way they do.
"Unarmed physically" xD That is hard core police work.
Each incident serves as a stark reminder of the importance of caution and responsibility on the road.
Of the people to tailgate, that guy picked a cop🤣🤣
How to have a bad day? Rear-end someone. A really shi77y day? Make it an unmarked cop car.
The rear ending of the police car was a must see. I couldn't stop laughing. Dude if you get back your driver license the cop is Jesus LOL. You watch this and you think. How can you do that? LOL
#9 Like you, I would never stop for racing crash-boys.
OMG 21 had me rolling on the floor tears coming out my eyes and everything! Action, drama, comedy! All in one fantastic clip!
i wish people like the woman in 12.1 would be sent to prison. distracted driving and falsifying a police report
“All involve were unarmed” good to know lol
I love these videos watching poor drivers record other poor drivers.
5:18 really caught me off guard
Have a dash cam, report everything and be ready to show the responders. Also have uninsured insurance, sadly because so many people don't even have the minimum. 😔
5:15 my man was absolutely vibing
Lot of these people must really get their license out of a cereal box.
Bold of you to ASSUME they even have a license at all... cereal's getting expensive. ;o)
I am glad to know that everyone in number 4 was "UNARMED" that could've gotten kinda scary if everyone jumped out with weapons.... LMAO!!!!!!
Dudes like “I drive for a living” yes I crash every year we exist Lmaoo wtf
I would fire him if I saw this
1:42 "All involved were unarmed physically." Unarmed, as in amputated? 😳😳😳
Unarmed physically, but in their minds they were blasting each other with their imaginary AR-15s.
😂
People don't proofread their comments before they post them.
@10:05 that's one way to come to an immediate complete stop, holy cow.
@ 6:00 guy was awesome! situational awareness and then avoiding the accident
This is one of my biggest pet peeves; When someone puts their blinker on and automatically think they now have the right to barge into your lane... Turn signals are there for you to indicate your intentions ONLY, you MUST wait until it is SAFE for everyone to merge to another lane. Seriously 90% of people need to go back to driving school.
Sounds like your fault. From your pfp I'm sure you're an awful driver.
1:42 « All involved were unarmed physically » hahahaha best typo of the day
$5000 liability cover minimum? Basically worthless. In my area I'm pretty sure it's 250k minimum but most people opt for 2 or 3 million.
Florida is the only state with no bodily injury liability, and every state has some minimum for property damage liability. And half the states require uninsured motorist
@@Steve.._. Virginia doesn't allow a vehicle to be operated without insurance. Also doesn't allow insurance companies to refuse claim payments.
@@aaronthomas6155 yes they do. you can literally look it up. you can drive an uninsured vehicle as long as you pay the uninsured motorist fee. it allows you to drive uninsured but makes you 100% liable for any incident that happens involving the vehicle regardless of the circumstances. i lived down there for a few years and did that with a truck i was running vintage tags on.
@@MasterOfTruck My neighbor tried that several years ago and the DMV suspended his license for 6 months....
Anyone else get that warm fuzzy feeling at #5, 1:50? The kind when you know sweet, sweet karma is right around the corner?
That first wreck was so avoidable. Though it was the fault of the person being hit, either party could have avoided it all together.
I agree.
The car pulled out like 150 yards ahead, the cammer just kept on driving at the same speed right into the side of her.
What a pleb.
Yes the cammer could have slowed down but when the car pulled into the lane they were, the cammer did change lane. The car then turned into the cammer's lane when the cammer was too close to avoid it. In my opinion it was not so avoidable due to that fact. If they swerved out they could have hit other cars.
@@sakuraplumlove5292 You are supposed to learn to look ahead when you train for a driving test.
What if a cyclist fell off 150 yards ahead, would you say 'oh but the cyclist fell into the cammers lane so it's not the cammer's fault ?
What if two cars collided 150 yards ahead and swerved into the cammer's lane, would you say 'oh it's the fault of the accident not the cammer ?
You are supposed to drive, and look ahead for hazards, and be able to stop in time no matter what hazard or accident is ahead.
This is what makes a good driver a good driver, and the cammer could have easily stopped in time, but he's (or she's) a useless driver who doesn't plan ahead, and just carried on driving straight into the hazard.
@@DjNikGnashers Even if you look far ahead my point is you can't always stop in time especially if a car or cyclest comes into your lane at the last minute. Your brain physically takes time to process. So what looks like can be avoided from a screen in real life, wouldn't be possible. This have been proven time and time again in experiments. Why a certain follow distance is recommended.
@@sakuraplumlove5292 Yes true, you can't 'ALWAYS' stop in time.
But we are not talking about any other situation here, just the one in the video.
He most certainly COULD stop in time, and should have done.
1:40 - Physically "unarmed". At least there wasn't a shootout.
None of the people involved had arms. None of them.
@@Nzxtz07 I think he's making a joke.
@@atomicninja1818 I meant arms, as in physical arms with hands. I was cracking a joke, too, but it must have gone over your head.
4:23 i love how the cloud was mad and looked at the car
Damn it. I just wrote a comment like that thinking I was the first to notice.
I’m glad everyone in number 4 was unarmed. 😂
I'm not. This is supposed to be America! 🦅 🇺🇲🥓
So how many people lost their arms? Or did they not have any firearms?
#22, some sleeping dude tried to exist the freeway too!
Love these videos. There's one thing that seems pretty consistent, that's how almost 100% of the time when it's a 100-mph crash, doing extensive damage, two things you can count on. One, the car's stolen & two, it's the same people driving it as they run off.
I never understood the logic of slamming your brakes once you realize you're gonna be hit. Just keep going.
If both parties slam their brakes you can avoid a collision though. Was able to avoid one like that. Luckily we both saw each other in time😂
13:33 the trailer was doing its lil dancy dance
@ 1:41, that must’ve really hurt when everyone became unarmed physically lol
Some people just absolutely don’t deserve to have a drivers license plain and simple
Getting real sick of watching these young black brothers hopping out of stolen vehicles. Where are my black parents at? Y'all gotta be doing better with your babies. Y'all be crying & start GoFundMe's when they get shot but no where in sight when they out here stealing cars and carrying guns. This has gotta stop. We need better for our youth.
I would've stopped either ! And while passing them , would've yelled ""nice going idiot" 🤣🤣
I drive for a living and I have yet to have a an accident in 7 years. More because I pay a lot of attention than because of other drivers.
5:15 his shit was BLASTING😂😂
1:03 cammer is at fault for passing while the suv hadn't left the lane completely.
Agreed, never assume anything.
Exactly! Never trust the other people on the road
@@joannalewis5220 Oh I trust them. I trust that they will do something stupid that will hurt me if I am too close to them.
Wrong, there was plenty of room to drive forward in their lane. However, the car on the shoulder DROVE BACK INTO TRAFFIC causing the accident. How do you guys not know this? Lol
There is a bump in the click meaning the car from the shoulder unfortunately maneuvered back into traffic cmon yalllll

1-39 Pleased to hear everyone was 'Unarmed' boy that could have pretty badly if they were !
Lmao....the perfect cut before impact at 15:40 made me chuckle. People need to stop speeding.
6:00 Not only giving props to the cammer for his reaction, but can we also give props to the Jeep behind him who ACTUALLY stayed a car length away from him? To avoid him taking the cammer out too, I think at most even if the cammer didn't move, maybe would've scraped the side of his bumper, but just overall.. Sucks the jeep probably got totalled..
#20 definitely sped up because he saw that car merging illegally, and being as though he has a dash cam he hit that car. That’s wild.😂😂😂
That car still tried to pass illegal in an intersection and a double yellow line. The other car is still at fault.
@@TheAdjuster1 that doesn’t neglect the fact that he sped up to hit that said car. 😒
@@TheAdjuster1 You're right but the cammer could have totally avoided that accident if he wasn't so stubborn. I would rather let someone cut me off than be in an accident that I'm not liable for. Accidents suck whether you have to pay or not
@@TheAdjuster1 You can speed up and notbe aware of someone on the side, becasue you dont have to if you're in individual lanes. It's on the merger to do it safely.
@7:46 If you pause the video at the right time you can clearly see the SUV coming from the left is near the lines of the crosswalk, while the light is still yellow. In Canada? The owner of the blue car would be at 100% fault and cited as such.
For the driver of the blue car in video #2. No he did not see your blinker, it was by the front tire of the driver you cut off!
