Well she's number one for me. Truly does amaze and love by everyone in singing❤ what else can she do..ballet maybe? ❤ 😊 we have said all the positive adjectives to her.❤ LETS PUT AND GET HER TO A CONCERT NOW! CANT WAIT ANYMORE!❤
Hi, thank you so much for posting this video. This is like the 5th time I watch it, beacause I love it, and I think there is a brief G#5 at 12:44. Plus there is a video on youtube where she sings This is me and hit G#5 as the top note. She became one of my favourive voices period.
Nah. I would say that around D5 she starts to get more tense, it's definitely not easy for her. She sounds the strongest in her mid to higher fourth octave. Overally her lows are quite strong so I would say she's a mezzo-soprano.. Definitely nowhere near lyric soprano.
Love her singing Mariah's Vanishing. Her low notes are so good but her voice is amazing all around. At times like the 3rd c#5 she sounds like the amazing Kelly Clarkson.
The very first video that I saw her singing was a live performance she made with Someday of Mariah. As far as I can recall, it was her friend who uploaded the video. In that video, she attempted the head voice/whistle part (I'm not sure though if it was whistle because I was not that aware of that technique before, so it might just be a head voice) and she nailed it. Audience even cheered and applauded her for doing so. Until now, I'm still looking for that same video. I guess the uploader/her friend might have closed the account. That was also the time that I began to admire her. Her voice texture, the depth and her lows are evident yet watching her do the Someday with that high note is quite extraordinary because her voice is naturally low. From then, I became a fan ever since.
I think she’s more of a lyric soprano, she can belt pretty high and they sound nice and full. Although she does have nice lows, I don’t think we’ve heard enough of her lows to call her a mezzo. Either way she has one of the best voices I’ve heard recently!
Michael Thomas Estoy de acuerdo. Si existe un rango con notas mayores al suyo en su voz mixta que alguien lo diga (no vale voz de silbido a lo Mariah Carey 😂)
@Yeah No She's genuinely mostly using edge and overdrive modes which explains why those notes sound so high lol. Also tessitura is wildly dependent on the technique used.
Jacob White you’re wrong actually! Technique DOES change tessitura. If it not, Pavarotti wouldn’t be able to sing Nessum Dorma or other arias. Do u know that it tooks at least 7 years to a Lyric tenor to grown his voice? The same goes with other voices. If we follow your theory, Whitney wouldn’t be a soprano and that is wrong. Moreover, this kind of statement is reserved for Opera. In this classical music, yes sopranos “shine” after E5 in HEAD voice not in chest. She’s clearly not a mezzo as her lower notes are breathy and don’t have richness at all. Even Natalie Weiss has better lows! As for her fach, I think that she’s a lyric becoming a full lyric. Unfortunately her head voice is not developed for classify her correctly.
She's not straining and straining is NEVER healthy. That's a serious thing that destroys a voice. She's a healthy and free vocalist. You can't be straining and sounding healthy at the same time.
@@ThePianoguy89 you can be straining and sound healthy it’s a thing. It’s called tense notes & she does tense up sometimes but for the most part she’s very relaxed
@@ThePianoguy89 I’m talking about the tension in her voice. Or I guess you could say weight. Either way she maintains this sense of urgency and weight throughout her belting range that makes all of her belts sound powerful at almost any note. Unlike other technically skilled ‘belters’ like Ariana or Sohyang, she doesn’t lighten her tone completely and still maintains some weight that sounds powerful even in her lower belting range. Much like Tori Kelly or Vanessa Amorosi, she shifts her placements as she ascends. Also I will note that ‘unhealthy’ sounds are not always unsupported or unsustainable. Look at squalls and vocal distortion in general. There are tons of singers who may sound ‘healthy’ but are misusing their voice and could actually damage it from their technique.
@@Dahjonruby tension & strain aren’t the same thing. You can be tense (or bring intensity into the sound) & be singing healthy, but strained singing isn’t healthy.
I haven't seen her rendition of Jessie J's "Mama Knows Best" in years!!! She went off on that song. That's my first discovery of hers. Why hasn't Loren blown up???
Sometimes breaking something thing down to it’s essence helps to absorb it deeper than before, other times you just want to say shut up and watch the sunrise. Please make a play list of all of the complete songs, then I can make the world go away while I listen to them all and watch the sun rise :-)
She is AMAZING !! Can someone please give me the link to this performance where she is in a Church, killing melismas and F5s ? I can't find it anywhere
indeed her F5s and G5s aren't as lovely as her Ds and Es. i feel she gets tight around those notes, making her belt them just a few seconds before reverting back to E5 or D5.
It’s b/c of the technique. She maintains a chest dominant approach all the way to the top w/a lot of intensity. To maintain that all the way to F5 & beyond is very difficult, even for Sopranos. Most Sopranos don’t do this. The few that did were Whitney & Celine for ex.
ThePianoguy89 I agree she’s def not a coloratura, she has a lot of weight in her mid belts and she sounds nice and full as she ascends higher. But I don’t think we’ve heard enough of her lows to properly assess that she’s a true mezzo. I think she maybe closer to lyric soprano
Why people say she's a soprano? A lyric one especially? Her voice it too heavy on low notes and too tense around C5-D5 to call her a soprano. She's a mezzo.
Love her resonance.
Her vibrato is one of the best of her
Boat Phum Yeah! Thanks for the comments!
The tone!!!!!

She is perfection… vocally, stage presence, she is stunningly beautiful! And such kind eyes and smile! Also, love her curls!
HER LOWS! Wow.
vocal vids ;
Ikr they sound amazing!
She has a great voice. Loving the fact that she was singing Mariah and Kelly Rowland songs. Awesome video!
She's amazing! She reminds me of Sara Bareilles mixed with Natalie Weiss!
Piano&VocalGuy89 Yes. hear the C5 Mezzo money notes! Actually all her 5th octave belts are ridiculously good
And she's a Lamb! No wonder she is such an exceptional vocalist she practices the greatest singer ever with the most impossible compositions songs.
thanks for sharing this. she definitely has one of the best voices ever. my favorite singer.
Such a nice tone and resonance! She has technique but chooses a more pop sound wich we love!!

She's a full lyric soprano, her voice sounds very full and her resonant belts, she has the ease around D5-F5! She has a great technique as well.

I dont know anything about notes, this makes me want to learn and I will. Thanks for the video 😊

Kelly Clarkson is not beautiful like Loren lol

Her voice ain't low at all. She's a lyric soprano
She's amazing
Wow. Her voice is so resonant! 👏👏👏
she hit a d7 in an old video but she took it down years ago
The church choir stuff reminds of debut Mariah like her whole vibe with the frizzy hair and black dress.
yes!
Perfect, flawless
Such a tremendous range and magical voice

Jacob White I don’t think that you understand the world tessitura either the fact that singer does not born and sing with perfect technique.
I love her voice. Everything sounds like so powerful and weighty. I would say it sounds strained but I know it’s healthy. I love that.

Why hasn't Loren blown up???
She was in a huge movie but as the voice instead of the actress. That's likely why she didn't get the credit she deserves
She definitely could pull off an A5 natural I think
I love her C5# 😍
Wow I didnt know she was such a big Mariah Fan ! NO WONDER she sings so great ! She prolly studied Mariah like all good singers of today did lol.
Amazing sound trip👍🏼😅

She's one of the best female vocalist ever! What's her supported range?
