Hi. Thank you for the video. I have the extendor for my E collar block and tried to mount the feathers. I am finding the plastic screws not solid at all to securely tighten the feathers on. I am thinking either the metal cylinders are machined too long or the plastic screws are too short. So I wrapped an electric tape over the plastic screws and around the island to secure the feathers on. Is there a better solution? Thank you

I have been using the Chameleon extender with a Dogtra Arc for over a year. I love the feather contacts. From my experience, you might be over tightening the plastic screws. The metal cylinders do add additional height to the plastic screws (when looking at the profile, it appears to be 2.0-mm). I recommend periodically checking the feather contacts to ensure they are secure. Additionally, there are "strong feather" contacts that are available too. Initially, I probably broke four feather contacts. This was due to the dog scratching at this collar or playing with other dogs that caused them to brake. My dog has long fur so the feather contacts are a dream to increase the connection. Also, I changed from having a bungee style collar to a Chameleon Elastic Snap Closure. I have had no problems since. I am not sure where to attribute my success. I hope you can find some solutions. Happy 2021!

@@fona8242 , I just learned about the chameleon extender for the dogtra arc. Do you find it to be too bulky and interfere at all while the dog puts their head down flat on ground? Thanks

@@gsd_802 There are various sizes for different size dogs. My dog has an appropriate collar for it's weight & neck size. No, I don't believe it interferes with a head laying flat on the ground. If you're truly concerned with this, I recommend getting the Chameleon 3. It has a lower profile, although costs ~$700 USD. Totally worth it. I am saving for one.
