Original DVC purchase was at Wilderness Lodge. We weren’t fans. Jumped to SSR when it became available and it’s been our home resort ever since. Grandstand pool is my happy place. We always stay in that section of the resort with a golf course view. Thanks for the videos always makes me smile!
SS is my home resort. I like it very much. You began at Congress Park, my favorite place to stay! I'll be there as Part 3 or my upcoming, massive split-stay: 1 Week at Bay Lake Towers; 9 nights at Jambo House (safari view; as replacement for a 9-night Disney cruise that was cancelled); 1 week at SS. It begins on 7/15, one week from today. I've missed my Disney!!!!!!!! Thanks for taking us on this stroll, and whetting my appetite!

This is our home resort. We will finally get to stay in a treehouse in January. This has been a dream of ours since the first time we saw them in 2012. We had reserved one for May 2020 but that was cancelled. So really looking forward to it!
SSR is one of our home resorts and we love it. Yes, I know its huge, and yes I know there is limited places for food, (Saratoga Salad at Artist's Palette is my favorite) but its such a nice reprieve after the chaos of the parks. We find it peaceful and relaxing and love the grounds. We are looking forward to a stay since the soft refurb. Thanks for the stroll Fiasco! I enjoyed every minute of it.
I know you aren't banging on the resort, but I am sooooo tired of hearing people whine about the size of the resort. Yes, the property is big, but only if you are walking around the complete perimeter. Otherwise, there are plenty of places to cut though. Nevermind these are probably the same people who just walked 8-10 miles at MK!
We will be there at Saratoga Springs one bedroom villa for our 1 year wedding anniversary October 8-15, for the 1st time. Our anniversary is October 10. We already stayed at Old Key West 1 bedroom villa for our honeymoon October 11-18 2020. We are not DVC members though. I need to be in my happy place!!! We will be at MK October 10 and riding the peoplemover, what better way to spend our special day then at MK.
We will be staying at AKL in November for our 30th Anniversary and a milestone birthday celebration for me. Two for one. Our Honeymoon was at the Poly. WDW is great for any age. Have a great trip for your Anniversary

Loved this. As an international dvc member I really appreciate seeing my home resort. It's been 2 long years since I've been back.
We own at AKL, but SSR was our first stay and it was amazing. The rooms are nice and spacious and we had a great view of the lake.
