I feel like XG is the top girl group when it comes to talent & music. IMO.
It's just sad they dont win awards 😢
@@patrickLao20they’ve only been a group for a year & are just stepping foot within the kpop industry. awards these days aren’t everything imo. They’re only won by popularity instead of music quality.

yeah XG is taking it! Definitely hope MAMA and all the others end of the year award shows show them some respect. I love this sound on them and the way they’re proving they can do so many sounds is fire. This aesthetic is so appealing on them. Definitely couldn’t wait to see what you guys thought!

This could have been a perfect song like Shooting Star. What’s missing for me is a fuller last chorus with something added to the instrumentals to make it feel more satisfying, more like a resolve of the tension created by those “emptier” choruses throughout the song.
I can agree with that, I love an intense final chorus. The song has grown on me a lot with time though, especially because their vocals are so good.

Ace, your theories and thoughts about this video is very insightful and interesting. From XG's "Tippy Toes" music video, and all the way to this latest video right here, these Ladies level up each and every time. They truly are in their own Lane, and I am enjoying watching their music journey. XG is also incredibly exciting and the visuals in all of their videos is stunning and mesmerizing. The Choreography, always, is top tier. The dance moves, smooth and tight. I mean, it is always exciting whenever they have a brand new video coming out, because you know whatever they do, its going to be absolutely amazing. And, I love XG's chemistry, they all seem like one big family, looking out for one another. I admire that kind of real friendship. Well, funny and great reactions as always guys and 1080P. Just got this album in yesterday, because of the photo book it is enormous. About the same width as a vinyl record. Definitely a good buy if you are thinking about picking one up.

Visually wise, I feel that the music videos were released in reversed order except for Hesono. In other words they were in the womb in Hesono. Birthed in X-Gene (ASSUMING they will release the mv next. Left home in Puppet Show. Learned in New Dance. Experimented in TGIF. Became bad asses in GRL GVNG.

I feel like Mya in the past 3 videos has been standing out in the pack . But they all do they thing in every video
I love the song but i think the mv didn’t play on their strengths I thought Harvey’s looks could’ve been better. I love the ethereal feel but I think the curls made it seem a little childish and not futuristic. If they wanted a more futuristic look they could’ve made Harvey’s look be a bit more futuristic with like larger rings and having the curls play accent on a bigger ring but stylistically with the performance I could see where that would’ve gotten in the way but I feel like their mv’s have always been top tier and I think they could’ve figured out a way that they could make it work but the stylist was like nah she’s boppin too hard to give her full rings which I understand but they could’ve definitely made it work. They are Japanese and Japanese animation goes hard and they could’ve turned up, Every look could’ve used a bit more to showcase that they are Japanese and add an extra bit of flare! Hinata slayeddddddddd and so did juria!!!!!!!!! The two of them were definitely the face of this mv! I love that hinata had more screen time and her voice is beautiful and jurias voice and image is never a disappointment! She is truly amazing in her control, tone and her visuals!! She is like the jisoo of her generation. Totally underrated!!
In my opinion, the "childish" curls are because she's meant to look like a doll to match the chorus lyrics, same with Chisa ☺️

I agree, i like the song but i don’t think the mv fits the song’s vibe at all. It felt weird watching it the first time because i felt like i was listening and watching two different things

@@peachyjoon6673 I think this one was much more strongly story-based than the other ones, so if you don't have a good theory on what story is being told, it feels out of place and random. I personally liked it but I generally love lore in kpop groups, which I realize is not for everyone.

Fun fact; Rachel West the song writer got credited for doing backing vocals and some ad-libs. 1:34 you can hear her singing the “ah ah ah ah”. Then she sings the last words on every part of the chorus (anything, anything. By a string, by a string and so on) and some of the verses as well.
I saw that too. I’m wondering why they chose to have her do that and not just have one of the actual vocal line do it 🤔

@@missladylexx This might not be all that unusual. There's a person here on YT who does songwriting for lots of Kpop groups and she says that her voice is audible on a lot of the tracks she's worked on.
