    First tutorial where someone is actually explaining and encouraging to understand the purpose of the different properties, rather than to just simply copy. Really appreciate you sharing your knowledge and skills to help new designers out there to get better!

    fun effect! only kind of tricky for a newbie :) I am looking for one for my other channel. I saw them on your website, it seems the effect is on the black background but what if say to overlay over another shot (that is keeping only effects and not the background?). I do have adobe suite but haven't learned AE yet.

    man i'm late and you probably don't do this anymore...but is there any way to make it go behind an object made with element 3D? I can't, for the life of me figure it out...watched tutorials but they always skip small detailed steps and I spend an hour trying to figure out what I missed. The ones I followed, I ran into problems and it's just a pain. Any advice or help you can offer, beyond just duplicating and splitting at the right points?

      Just make the null a 3d layer and animate the z position. Then relink the trapcode particular position parameter to the null

    Amazing video and thankyou...! I'm currently looking into buying this plug in so I can replicate this effect, however, I'm not sure which to invest in, Trapcode or Stardust..? Any advice would be awesome.

    • @VisionaryFire

      Trapcode is a little easier to use and renders faster for standard particle effects. Stardust has far more possibilities if you are a serious artist.

      @dreamwolfy2606 4 роки тому

      in the particle (master), there is a tab for color in there "set color", choose "over life" -- in the "color over life" tab, you can mess around it, to get the color, gradient you want... I'm also new to after effects, but there are lots of tutorials you can find on youtube on how to do this.
