First tutorial where someone is actually explaining and encouraging to understand the purpose of the different properties, rather than to just simply copy. Really appreciate you sharing your knowledge and skills to help new designers out there to get better!
Bro you have no idea how much I appreciate your positive attitude right now. Humor really can flip the vibe of a shitty situation. Thanx for the tutorial

Thank you so much for this Lendon!!! This is incredible stuff. Thank you
Even though I don't use After Effects anymore, you showing how to do this helped me figure out how to do it in Davinci Resolve.

@@VisionaryFire Yes, it's more of an exercise like this and an exploration of particles, and tutorials like this are very helpful for beginners like me.I tried to do it once, it was simple and really great. Thanks again for sharing, thanks.

Super Cool 💜
amazing tutorial mate, I have the trial for red giant VXF including Trapcode particular but my AE RAM cache bar keeps resetting and takes absolutely ages to preview every time I change a parameter. I have a very up to date iMac so not sure why this is happening. Anyhow, this is great!
Your awesome thank you & Love you bro
Gorgeous

god bless you brother
Excellent
fun effect! only kind of tricky for a newbie :) I am looking for one for my other channel. I saw them on your website, it seems the effect is on the black background but what if say to overlay over another shot (that is keeping only effects and not the background?). I do have adobe suite but haven't learned AE yet.
Great stuff! Really goofy! But great! :D
Thank you for this great tutorial !
Your voice reminds me of Dustin in Stranger Things
...thanks I guess=)
OMG I LOVE PACIDE
You are amazing
I did never guessed what effect u r gonna apply, shit u r genius 😂😂
Great!
man i'm late and you probably don't do this anymore...but is there any way to make it go behind an object made with element 3D? I can't, for the life of me figure it out...watched tutorials but they always skip small detailed steps and I spend an hour trying to figure out what I missed. The ones I followed, I ran into problems and it's just a pain. Any advice or help you can offer, beyond just duplicating and splitting at the right points?
Really good tutorial! but what If I just want it to stick to a still image and just kind of float around?
Exactly what im lookin for
I think this is one of the smoothest particle trail I hv seen but too bad the plugins are expensive.
I wish that you had done this with the proprietary particle creators in AE. I can't afford Particular.
Here's another luscious tutorial for you my Wizard: ua-cam.com/video/-lXjiUH2go8/v-deo.html
I see every comment popup up on my youtube phone notifications.

This guy is smart showing you only half of what's need to make this. Then once your more time invested, you want to buy his products
For those of you who need a free solution maybe use color vibrance plugin..
He's giving away his knowledge for free tho
*Marketing 100* Moment
hey great tutorial thank you! i was wondering how to do this in 3d? can not draw that path right?
Just make the null a 3d layer and animate the z position. Then relink the trapcode particular position parameter to the null
Amazing video and thankyou...! I'm currently looking into buying this plug in so I can replicate this effect, however, I'm not sure which to invest in, Trapcode or Stardust..? Any advice would be awesome.
Trapcode is a little easier to use and renders faster for standard particle effects. Stardust has far more possibilities if you are a serious artist.
Can you change the color to black or white? Or the color is what you see?
Thanks! How you change the color!? For look purple and blue?!
Me too would like to know.
Can you utilize what you have done with the particles to the write function for text? How would you attach it to the paths in the write function
I want to use your simulations in my piano videos usong synthesia
Basically i am looking for linking your simulations to my synthesia tutorial...i want to just somehow connect the simulation to the notes i play as soon as they hit the line
Can you please helpp mee?
Hi! how to make the particle glow like your final artwork?
you get a like for that gandalf comparison lmaooo
love all the tutorial vids you’ve made, ever gonna make another?
thumbs up !!
niceee
Hi, my particles just clump and continue floating at the end of the path, even though I put a life span of 2 seconds on them -- do you know how to fix this? I just want that part to not be there then it would look like your video. Thanks for the tutorial!
I do not have air option in physics (pretty weird), what can I do instead?
what effect did you use for that really nice glow effect?
How change color to this particle like you plis am new on after effects if you can help me i will so happy for that
in the particle (master), there is a tab for color in there "set color", choose "over life" -- in the "color over life" tab, you can mess around it, to get the color, gradient you want... I'm also new to after effects, but there are lots of tutorials you can find on youtube on how to do this.
What did you use for this Effects?
this effect is as lushes as his hair

Show!!!!!!
Thanks for not telling how to color them. Helps a lot and makes the entire tutorial very useful.
We not gonna talk about the lisp
haha awesome
damn! I like u so muchs. Nice guy!
Hi, it’s possibile to link partciles on 3d path?
