- I built the most INSANE and CRAZIEST META 2x1 base in Rust. It features a massive loot room equipped with 10 boxes of large storage, 8 boxes of small storage, a bed, 3 furnaces, a tier 3 and a special hidden spot for the tool cabinet, coming in at a whopping 20 rocket raid!

Do you have a build video that is a little slower and closer up where you explain what you're placing? I'm brand new to the game and I don't understand what you're putting around the furnaces or where you're placing storage once you're inside the base.
Yo winter, apart of Wellios group that you were grubbing/fighting at mil tunnels (also we were roof camping grubs/nakeds) we do watch, and we all recognised the wipe as that base was abit special xD.
We know MJay as well, played some fun wipes with him. Stay lit bro.

Did some research on how to improve this base- you can turn the pancake layer on top into a ladder-hatch accessible "Attic" to fit electric furnaces, use plumbing to connect them to a small box in the space right of the entry door as a deposit, so you can just depot into your airlock, have it go straight to furnaces/boxes in the core/TC. Can also fit batteries and BBQ in that attic, and protect the box in the airlock with a shotty trap (put floor triangle shelf, shotty on bottom, dropbox on top so it can't be ducked under)
yeah but kinda defeats the layer of the pancake honeycomb, turning 15 rockets into 1 rocket to get through the ladder hatch
@@TK-ml9og It does make it weaker, for sure, but not 1 rocket. A ladder hatch is 2 rockets, plus the outer layer, if stone that's 6 total, if sheet metal, that's 10. The thing is, you can also just seal the attic in, by swapping the ladder hatch for a normal floor once it's all set up, returning it to original strength. Also, the added protection of a pixel bunker or two can add even more protection for TC/loot. And having a decent power setup allows a turret or a sensor to let you know if you're being raided, plus electric furnaces/dropbox speed progression overall, getting you to HQM/raiding for upgrade scrap faster. Finally, one might ask: at first glance, does blowing the pancake layer seem like the path people would take into this base? Seems less likely than through doors to me. It's a tradeoff, but one that can be managed,
@user-kz8tw4vj7z a pancake layer is vastly more powerful if you use low walls and do an extra layer of floors. It turns your 6 rockets into 12 if stone, and your 10 rockets into 24 if sheet metal no?

for the wheel always put on 1 and 1/3 of it on 3 or 5 depending on wheelposition (this split garantes profit if it lands on those )
to make it even safer split the scrap you wanne gamble in 5 piles and each pile doubles in amout ,start betting with the lowest
you basicly want to be able to double your bet once you lost

I always farm a few stone nodes to get my wood at outpost. Farming wood is how I always died in the past, no more!

So idk if you used a half wall in the middle of the two square ceilings in the pancake layer. I just started the video. But I saw from aloneintokyo, that if you use a low wall in the center and build a floor off of it, you can get an extra layer of honeycomb if they decide to roof down you

It must be Sunday, Ser Winter hitting us with a bit of trimmings from the previous wipe. Nice filler episode and can't wait to see what you have planned for us to enjoy. Keep the Subs coming in people so we can get this man to 1 Million, each week we edge a little closer to getting this man what he deserves.
This is similar to the build I use in fact i bunker out the bottom floor later with roof tiles creating a pyramid base with not only dead spaces to confuse raiders with the roof honeycomb before the upper section then on the ground when i guild my gates and walls later i build platforms that go about half way up behind the walls to place turrets that will take out just anyone who would climb the walls rather than leaving them visible to the outside with little to no angles to shoot them. if climbers try to flee inward to your base they cant hide behind walls because all there is massive pyramid base to the building that is flush with the ground and turrets on all angles pointing at it rather than out. this forces a bigger commitment to destroying the walls and you can also build an outcrop on the lower level to block ladders from the base of the pyramid into the mid level of your tower. this is pretty expensive to raid and once you have a tower its also expensive to raid vertically from above because you can make the upper guts a death trap and keep all your loot below in the lower vault.
