Adam, the construction project you mentioned wouldn't happen to be the capitola warf repair would it? I use to go fishing there often, but since it has been closed after the storn damage, I have not made my way down there as much.
It’s only possible with a damaged battery and the lithium is exposed. And it’s not saltwater. It’s any water. lithium reacts with hydrogen in the water.
Cool keep the commercial end going like hearing the total's and could you give a one month total? The guys I knew that fished commercially worked other jobs and did it part time and most fished Salmon! Good luck
@@hr1229 there is a lot more to it than just a commercial license. From what I understand: if you plan on fishing on your boat, you need to get a commercial fishing permit for your boat, that one is like $400 or so. A lot of new rules now apply for your boat since it is a commercial (you'll have to read up on it). When doing a commercial trip, everyone in your boat needs to have a commercial license. Now for the tricky part, all your fish caught during a commercial trip needs to be "landed." You can either land them yourself with a fish retail license, OR you write a fish transportation receipt and take your fish to someone who's a fish receiver.
I wonder what that total breaks down to per hour. I can't imagine many commercial halibut fisherman being able to survive off ~$2200 made over 19 days spent fishing especially not in the bay area.
I commercial fish bluefin out of cape cod and guys are getting 2$ a pound for the best fish in the world. A lot of people aren’t surviving in this industry at the moment. The fish pens off Baja is where all the tuna money went. Idk bout butts
Adam I keep asking you this question and you never answer it! Please answer it to me directly or on your video, why don't you do catch clean and cooks?????????? God bless you. Jim from So Cal.😢😮😊
Will you be going after Crab and selling them too? The inshore closure put a big kink into our plans for crab season and I don't think we will be doing anything but snaring for a trip or two?
Do you sell your fish before you get off the water or do you sell off the water to private consumers? Just asking because the license is very different. Can you break down cost for commercial license, boat commercial registration, license to sell fish etc…thanks for the content🤙🏽
Always love watching your videos. Keep them coming. Stay safe!
Very cool video as always 👍🏻 I was just wondering did you have to pay $443.50 to register your kayak for commercial fishing?
Nice...looks like my small east bay town in the background you launched from

I get the feeling that you could catch fish in a mud puddle. You definitely have the savvy. Keep it up young padawan 💯👍
saltwater exposure can harm Lithium-Ion batteries, and cause a chemical reaction which creates a high fire risk.
have you seen it happened before?
Isn't GoPro, digital camera and other accessories use same battery?
It’s only possible with a damaged battery and the lithium is exposed. And it’s not saltwater. It’s any water. lithium reacts with hydrogen in the water.
Maybe do a video on the top 3 ways that you like to prepare and eat halibut

ok, safety concerns ie boat collisions. how do you stay visible from other boats/ships.
How much is it to get the commercial fishing license per year?
$179
@@yufaychow645 Seriously? only $179? I would totally pay that if that means I can get more than 2 halibut limit.

Just wondering anything changed for opening day of crab season For the 2023 and the 2024 season.😊.😊😊
Can you sometime show what your motor is and how long your batteries will keep it going.
Will you ship the Halibut?
Here you are again. ✌️
FYI, you can make double the rate working at McDonalds
Another day another dollar.
What else do you do for work besides fishing? Can't live off of that

100k a year in the Bay Area is still just getting by paycheck to paycheck 😂

Wondering if you can do a tutorial of how you to commercial fish. Love your videos
Adam glad to see that while you were vacationing you were able to land three respectable Yellowfin! Four trips for me thus far and goose eggs for me😢
What's a shaker?
A small fish just big enough to shake your rod.
A sub legal fish.
I agree. I caught the most and largest this year from hmb to Monterey. 37.5 was largest.
Not sure if this is you trolling, but you are wearing a Lithium polymer battery in salt water?
He is trolling for halibut.
I see what you did there, but I love his stuff and would hate to see him go up in smoke@@Andre-Nader
Just make sure you make enough money to make enough videos.

I respect that u wanted to fish without the camera but that would have been one of best videos of u recorded that. Why not video a trip like that
Those Mackeral are great cooked over coals.
How much do you make on UA-cam
More interested in how much you make for doing UA-cam. Lol
cool upload, can you make a video where you reveal your ethnicity?
Hapa
He looks mixed. Looks half Japanese mixed with something else to me (nothing insulting)
