Very interesting stuff bro👍I always liked history and Geography from I was in high school. Now I can give you 3 main points which I think should be in this video or if your doing another about rivers Point1: Hector's River(which lies on the Trelawny/Manchester boundary) and Cave River in St.Ann are the only two rivers in JA which does not ends in the sea. Instead the disappeared in underground limestone Point 2:Plantain Garden river in St. Thomas is the only river that flows westward All the other flows North-South/South-North Point3: Manchester is the only parish in JA without a river
You’re doing a great job MR ALEX. I am originally from St. Thomas, but has been living in Toronto Canada for a very long time. I am really enjoying your very informative videos. Keep up the good works.
You also forgot to mention the Ginger River which starts in the hills of St. Andrew and joins the Wag Water River in St. Mary. I learned to swim in that river using a piece of bamboo as my flotation device.
Mexico River - St. Eliz One-Eye River -St. Eliz Foster River(Bogue River) - St. Eliz. This river has many tributaries. Elim, Braes River to name a few. Noisy(Oxford) River border of St. Elizabeth & Manchester.
Please add Swift River in Portland. This is the swiftest river in Jamaica! The others might qualify for the longest and widest, but this is the swiftest.
The best lands maybe semi-arid.For Wheat, honey, plus I hear to much damn water makes the pastures muddy by cattle.Sure there are rivers aplenty but we want quality of life.GOD help you understand.
Correction the White River borders both St Ann and St Mary. It's not in St. Ann. Every area along the length of the river is bordered by both parishes. From River Head near Blackstonedge to White Hall, Labyrinth at the Spanish bridge, White River near Ocho Rios and Prospect St Mary near White River. (If you need more info.I can fill you in, lived in and around these areas..Two hydro electric plants on this river.
Mr. Basil Byfield, humble greetings. In the late 1970s-early '80s, used to reside very near White River, Prospect, St.Mary. I'd welcome learning of any recent/current info' you know of White River, Prospect. I am currently in England, and, I note that the date that you set up your You Tube account,-is the same date [Lord willing],- that I'll be the same ('Platinum') age as 'Independent' Jamaica! (lol & smile).
@@paulamgsouglas4851 That's not my UA-cam.I was responding to Elite Jamaica UA-cam and was providing correct information. I am from St. Mary, close to the St. Ann border.
