Very well made video. Benton box is the best. Made me glad to see how happy you are in a Japanese High School. I love how the students show respect to their teachers.
gary Aa at my school i sometimes have the feeling at my high school that senpais are showed more respect than teachers because there it can also a little bit more informal. But god beware if you dare to be informal to your senpai.
Hi, I am from Turkey and actually I am on exchange now in hiratsuka kanakgawa-ken. I came with AFS and it just been one mounth. I am going to school like 3 week but in the first weekend we had school festival. But now everything normal and I pick art club today, but thinking to also join tea ceramony. 1 year ago, when I watch your video, I realy want to do the same thing. I watch many times your videos and now my dream came true. Love ayse💕
It depends on the program, some want you to have a higher level but most just want you to be able to read hiragana and katakana, it would be difficult with only the basics tho(ik this comment is old, im commenting for other people who may ask the same thing)
Oh god the socks😂 im on exchange in tokyo and i go to this really strict all girls private school and the socks are literally one of the only things to express your style or whatever. I usually wear ruffles, bows or hearts and i have way too many. You can also decide between the three exciting colors grey, royal blue and navy blue for your official school sweater.
I’m currently on exchange in Japan! ✈️🇯🇵 I wish my bunkasai was more like yours! My year had to take care of the food stands, so there was no decorating the classrooms or anything like that. Idk it seems like other people’s bunkasais had a lot more going on, but I was just kinda walking around awkwardly doing nothing when I wasn’t on my shift :/ Also I’m not that huge a fan of the uniforma because they’re so warm! 😓 They are not designed for the sweltering summer temperatures I had to suffer through! It is slowly getting chillier now (still hella warm tho)
In the US, students go en masse to a cafeteria for lunch and naturally segregate themselves into cliques. I ate with the same group of people every day but was rather isolated from the rest of my class. In Japan, I imagine that a smaller group of students having lunch in a classroom encourages more interaction and class unity.
Where I lived it was the opposite - public schools were very strict and private ones super chill. But yeah, I guess mine was a bit more strict than average :')
My English very bad so i hope you will understand it. My questions: How organized the trip? The Host and evrything else. How can you study in the school without you couldn't know Japan language. Are you exchange student? Sorry if you said, but i don't understand evrything because my English bad >
Yes, I went there as an exchange student with very basic knowledge of Japanese, but it improved quickly once I was there! A program called Intrax organized everything for me :)
I wouldn't say unfriendly but I think since I was the first exchange student at that school ever (and it was in the middle of nowhere) they were a little bit afraid of me maybe?
Sehr interessant.
Ugh, I want to be an exchange student too. Unfortunately I already graduated from college. 😂
I thought the bento in the video was one of those fake samples they have in stores in Japan until you ate it 😂😂
it looks sooooo yummy
i have always been interested in japanese culture, but hearing about it from you makes it even better. You are awesome, thanks for the great videos
Ayyys It seems so exciting to wear a cute uniform and to eat bento with your friends!! Thanks for the video! ^^

In Deutschland you are allowed to wear shoes at elementary and secondary school?
In my elementary school we had to wear slippers in the class rooms but apart from that you normally wear your street shoes.

What time do you go to school

Is the classroom a set for big Japanese UA-camrs to film skits at? Or do they use it as a class for something?
It's a set ;) But everyone with over 1.000 subs (I think?) could use it, which I thought was super cool!
That's awesome!
😍
