- In this video we take you through a complete walkthrough of all the Mods done to this Lexus GX470. It is daily driven in the city, but is build to handle weekend camping. You could call it a mild overland build. Most of the mods shown are also useful on Tacoma, 4runner, FJ Cruiser, Land Cruiser, GX 460, and other Toyota models.
We are also working on more modifications, like an interior bed platform for sleeping & camping inside the cabin.

I got my gx470 timing belt and water pump done at a Toyota dealership, less than $1000.
Sounds like a good price. We did it on this truck last winter and it took 12 hours for two amateurs.

Nice GX. Are those rims the stock color or did you plasti-dip them? I have a 2009 GX, but my stock rims are chrome. Yours looks more gun metal. I’ve been looking at getting some gun metal TRD pro wheels but plastic-dipping my stock rims might be a reasonable option. What kind of tires and what size are they?
Probably Sport package wheels, had a dark graphite finish.
What Bluetooth is that ?

The GX has seen some additional modifications since this video. We will be re-recording the walk through in the next few weeks.

Bro literally ruined those hood bolts trying to install the brackets lol, good luck trying to take them off
The bolts are fine, they paint them body color, what you're seeing is just the paint coming off from the initial removal.
I think the Lexus VIN maintenance history hack doesn't work anymore. Cool video otherwise
