Some of that photography/filming was quite beautiful. Especially the evening images. Even without those cracking fish that would be up there with one of your best videos. Simply stunning, well done.
Great angling again Mark that female Tinca was in pristine condition not a single blemish on her and with how long they take to grow it show what a wonderful venue it is , the rod and light tackle handled that pukka carp mate and shows your angling skills came into play yet again . It's a real treat watching your video's Mark and I for one 1 million percent appreciate them ... Tight Lines fella and may the angling God's shine down on you .. Steve M
Hi Mark, I follow several good fishermen from England. But this makes my heart beat faster. Because my heart lies with fishing on natural waters. Another great upload. thanks.
Once again Mark you have a cracking video , good looking water to fish & great looking captures in really great condition too!!! Well done mate enjoyed watching, keep them coming Mark.
Happy days mark lovely tench and beautiful carp . I bet the carp was fun on that shimano rod setup and great bait tatics well done mate . Keep the uploads coming cant wait for the next 🤛🏻
Hey bud another great video looking forward to your next one, a bit of luggage question I know you like roving I do to ,but my question I have vertex 13ft float rod and a 10ft vertex method feeder I would like to carry both of these when I'm out roving what would you recommend as a way of transporting both ? A quiver is nice but I feel not enough protection I'm interested I holdalls but they are big cumbersome and il only be setting up on the bank any help or a finger In the right direction would be great , keep up the good work love the content
I totlaly hear you and Personally a 5lb tench to me or any fish on a trip is a worthy fish, just being there fishing is a reward in itself, as you are a long time dead :(
@@francolinobasco yeah we loved it many life time memories made the pond was amazing no one hardly fished it was on a complex with 5 ponds very popular but not the back lake perfect tench pond and held around 16 big carp no one ever fished for i had one off the top a low 20 common immaculate
I tried preparing my groundbait balls ahead of time for the first time this very weekend... guess who rocked up to the venue with said balls still in the kitchen - too habitual in checking my packing before leaving to notice anything 'new' missing. At least I had some non-balled groundbait with me as well to be used in feeders so the session still went alright
Hello Mark, it's clear that we are a like minded bunch here - so thank you for the uploads, the insights, explanations, tackle / set up run throughs....but most of all for your ethos, proper angling for sure! Fantastic watching you play that lovely old 20lb warrior as the day was breaking - with mist hanging on the surface. - showed the action of the Shimano STC Tele Spin perfectly. Question if I may: When ledgering, when would you decide to fish 'straight through' rather than using a hook length? I try to minimise the number of knots in set up, What do you think? 🎣🐟🎣🐟
shimano make awsom rods i have a 20 yr old shimano float rod gf had a 22lb common on 5lb line wind was whistling and she got it in and it stopped it dead in the water you could see it treading water head down tail towards the surface on 2 maggots size 16 hook lol
Good job with the videos mate really enjoy them, I remember a while back you did a little breakdown of your travelling light kit. You had a landing net pole that packed down very small but I can't remember what you said the brand is. Was just wondering If you know which one I mean?
Cheers Paddy and yes however i won't name the brand of that pole as it snapped on me and was clearly very very poor quality and i would not wish you or any other angler to suffer as i nearly did losing a barbel, the brand was Korum.. However i do have some new compact poles and they are unbranded and absolutely rock solid which i have imported from china and will be covering on a future video and believe me i can barely flex them they are that strong and don't cost the earth either, only thing is you need to also purchase an M8 to 3/8 bsf thread adaptor which is no big deal.
Nice fish. I don't know how you fish sundown to sun up. Do you ever sleep at all out there (like I know a lot of people of there do) or you purely fishing. You don't ever seem to have a tent or sleeping stuff. Or you just don't ever show it maybe.
Thanks and i rarely sleep, my idea of nght fishing is to be awake mostly if feasible, maybe a small doze but that is all. I don't take any tent or sleeping gear in general, at most a tarp but it is rare for me.
I don’t mind catching the odd carp, but it can be annoying, when you think you hooked the mother of all tench, and it turns out to be a 12lb carp. Another good vid though Mark. Your channel is definitely worthy of at least 4-5 times the amount of subs you have.
Hello Mark will one day you tell us your secret to last the night? no bivvy? to protect you from the cold, or hot drinks, in short, a good job for beautiful fish. see you soon take care of yourself too
Nice one Mark
Two great fish...a carp with attitude..what a repertoire of melodies that blackbird had.......
Thanks and it went through a few different tunes :D
Just brilliant Mark. You surely are one of the country's most thoughtful anglers.
Thanks Ian, wish my bowels felt as thoughtful currently ouch :(
Watercraft , theory , finesse and sheer enthusiasm in abundance… such a pleasure to watch .🌞🎣🎣🎣
Thanks Barry!
Two super fish again Mark
Cheers Steven!

Definitely a disservice! Absolute belter

Cracking captures!! Will have try worms on maggot clip (haven’t seen that before…great tip 👊🏻)

Great vlog Mark.
Nice video as usual mark hope alls well hope dads on the mend

Sorry to hear that mark
Lovely carp, your camera captures colour and detail really well, it may be you too 🙂 Anyway great little film and the worm ring is a great technique.
Cheers mate! i do try to give good exposure and colour grading which takes time to do but helps!
Lovely tench well done
Your the man good fishing Mark Kind regards Mr D
Thanks 👍 Mr D !
Another great video man keep it up buddy
Thx mark
Very welcome!
What's your best tip for homemade boilies mark?
if i was giving one tip it would be keep flavour levels low and not in their face, be that barbel, carp etc as it can act as a warning signal.
When you say the bait is tasty is this from actually having a taste test 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Yet another crackin vlog always enjoyable and peaceful ✌️
I am guilty as charged Raf lol!
Nightjar charring again in the dawn chorus Mark!

if you can perhaps look at the tacklebox dartford online they do some proection quivers that might suit you.
20 yrs ago me and my cousin used to fish a great pond for big tench my pb was 6,6lb monster at the the time now its scoffed at how times have changed
