OI Mark you are fishing in my spot, jokes aside been a favourite spot since childhood, last fished it in July when I returned from Australia for a holiday, success with both pike and Chubb, keep up the good work from an AU subscriber
Hi Mark, I love your videos. I do very similar fishing here in Norfolk. Small rivers and fishing for fun. My kids love fishing too and watch your videos with me :-)
Thank you Martin and glad you enjoy doing similar types of fishing, as it's very enjoyable. Cheers also for watching and stopping by to post a comment.
Great to see how you have become more confident and happy over the years in these videos. Always impressed with your angling skills and knowledge. Well done you. Dare i say the natural succesor to john wilson!
Thank you ever so much James, that's very kind of you. I'm just glad you guys enjoy the videos. I still have my less than stellar days where facing the world or looking in the mirror at myself isn't so easy.
Cracking video buddy. Love watching Fishing videos like this. As soon as I seen the title, it reminded me of one of my John Wilson DVDs I have. He did one exactly the same. What a legend he was. You’ve done him proud my friend. 👍👍😉😉… All the best to you and the family and look forward to the next video 👍🎣😁
Cheers Mark I do enjoy my float Fishing, only thing is I do get side tracked at times when that urge for hunting down other species is concerned. I'll certainly be doing more float trips during autumn and winter though. Thanks for stopping by to mention how much you enjoyed it ❤
Thanks, not so easy to film due to the hard gravel but I managed to eventually get a camera stick in after much faffing about. Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed it and those dace were fast!
Could not agree more Matt and I like all my species doesn't matter the size. I think di caprio said it best in titanic "I have the air in my lungs what more do I need " and in our case as anglers our rivers and lakes and canals are our canvas of which we paint upon with rod and line.
I'm sorry about that Stewart it's very hard to get float shots when up to my waist in water as this would mean me getting my camera and lenses out risking damaging them if I should drop them or get them wet. As such the videos already being filmed with a camera with no zoom lens on a bank stick and risks are being taken as best as possible to film a video. Regarding changing over to lure, I was there float Fishing and not taking multiple rods with me I did not wish to flit about when I'm focused on one discipline for this particular trip nor want to encumber myself with extra rods and gear. I hope that's understandable and apologise if lack of float shots have perhaps ruined any of your enjoyment of the video.
Great 'bread and butter' fishing Mark! Funny how all anglers standing in water seem drawn to going further and further out to be nearer the fish - I was geting a bit woried that you might exceed your chest waders capability and then you mentioned it! Nice change of pace with this one 👍👍👍
Morning Mark, Glad to see and hear that you're doing well, both personally and fishing wise! Can I ask, what river are you fishing in this video and in the like one please? Best wishes John
Graet video mark ,my favourite. style of fishing, brings back memories of fishing the weir at Kempston on the river ouse, you never know what's going to drag the float under. I hope you and family are well. Best wishes mate .
@@RichardFord-j2q thanks Richard, there is something special about such places which draws as us anglers in and holds as there. Glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for watching 👍💯
Where are these places Mark ? Unfortunately I live in London and only have the canal system, which is mostly taken up by leftists living on houseboats who have meltdowns because they think fishing is a blood sport .
Sadly Tony i have seen a fair few videos from anglers in London being totally abused for fishing by the boat owners whom you mention, total karens. I am based in Berkshire mate. It might be worth venturing out this way from london perhaps?
nice spot good fishing and and as always a great video keep um coming and until your next adventure down by the waters edge tight lines
Thank you Stephen,it is ah almost timeless spot. I'm also currently editing more videos. How have you been doing yourself with your own fishing?
Enjoyed that! My idea of heaven 🎣
Thank you John! It was very pleasurable and the time when float fishing I find goes just too quickly!
now that is relaxation of the highest order! Loved the video!
You are very welcome, I often find you can lose track of time so fast when float fishing, it is so absorbing!
Classic pin and stick fishing. A challenging technique executed to perfection, thank you for sharing and always inspiring.
Thanks Silent 👍 wish this rain would ease a little.
One of my fave go fishing episodes was called weirpool magic.
We done Mark on another great video.
Thanks Mark and yes that was a brilliant episode probably one of the most memorable and part of the reason I titled the video as I did.

Haha Lloyd, good to hear from you as always! I bet you enjoyed returning and fishing it too mate.

Good angle of the angling of that pool...
Bring back the gun slingers...

Nice session. Different from the normal videos. But very enjoyable Mark.
Thanks Darren ❤😊
the most enjoyable fishing. not all about the big girls .just pure pleasure

Thank you Doug 🙏👍
Yes sir , you’re quite welcome Mark!
Nice to see you back !
Thank you very much Stephen, do excuse any delays with me getting videos out on time. It's a pleasure to be able to still do so for sure.
Shame we didnt get any float shot Always nice to see the float go under. Once pike moved in get the lures out and catch a few.

Is the title a nod to John Wilson? 😊
Precisely that ❤ thanks for noticing.

Thanks Frank and actually I did exceed them but from lower down as I had a hole in them 😢. Hopefully all fixed now lol.
Nice one Mark
You're welcome 👍
Hi mate could you maybe do a small review on the vest I was looking at getting the same one ,is it any good ,ie worth the money 💰 thanks 👍
I’ve fished in the house grounds many years ago if it’s where I think it is👍
Morning Mark,
Glad to see and hear that you're doing well, both personally and fishing wise!
Can I ask, what river are you fishing in this video and in the like one please?
Best wishes

Sorry for the late reply John, but I don't really give out venue information via the open comments section 👍
something about the noise and the smell when weirpool fishing never really sire what u could hook .

Love watching fishing videos but Mark oh Mark my OCD can't handle you swapping hands swinging the fish in aaagggghhhhh
Kevin 😂. Cheers for watching
