Thank you for a very useful video. I no longer have the manual and was fairly puzzled as to why I couldn’t get the door back on the oven. A renter had removed the door and left the hinges fully flipped over in the manner that you warned against. After watching your video, I went out to the garage, grabbed an open-end wrench and voilà! My problem was solved!
after struggling trying to get the door slot to drop in the range slot dropping the door twice my wife asked me to check on you tube I checked out other videos but yours was the only one that talked about using a box end wrench to reset the hinge and pin followed your directions and instantly had success thank you so much now the only thing i have to deal with is my wife strutting around telling me I told you so thanks again !

I have severe back problems and bending over into the oven & over the door to change the lightbulb became a major problem that I was ready to call the repair guy and pay just to do that. Your video was the only one that explained it thoroughly and showed the parts clearly so I could do it myself. God Bless you and thank you for helping me and others fix our own appliances in a jiffy. Being able to remove my oven door made the job done in minutes and painless rather than stressful, long, frustrating, and extremely painful effort leaning and reaching over the door and not being able to put the glass cover back over the light bulb. I almost just left it undone then I found you. Thanks again.

OMGoodness, the left side door hinge detached from the oven when I (stupidly) used the oven door handle to lift up the range about an inch high; the right side hinge did not detach. Your video showed me how to correctly remove the right hinge, THEN using the same closed-end wrench (9/16th) I easily pried the left side and easily set the lock. Door installed perfectly. Thank you VERY much because my bride of 36 years, a fantastic cook, needed the oven to prepare a roast and pie for dinner guests TONIGHT!

Your explanation of what to do to make sure the latch is in the right position when removing the door and then what to do when the latch is in the wrong position was terrific and not explained in the user's manual. I had the latch in the wrong position and didn't realize it and your demo on how to fulcrum up the hinge and reset the latch was a godsend. Thank you.
my big toe and I thank you so much! i had dropped the door on my foot several times before finding your video. my unit has this exact type of hinge, and even the manual doesn't describe the need to have that little locking mechanism all the way back like that in order to put the door back on. also, my unit has screws (unrelated to the locking mechanism) in the way of opening the locking mechanism all the way back. I was able to pry the hinge upward by leveraging the hilt of a flat head screwdriver, being careful not to scratch the enamel, and tap the locking mechanism over the unrelated screw and into the hole that the hinge comes out of. Then the door went on easily on the first try and I locked it tight :) Anyway, thanks a bunch!!!

Thank you thank you thank you. I was messing around with mine and the hinge popped loose. I for the life of me couldn't figure it out and I'm a handy guy. That hinge snapped in my finger many many times. Managed to get it back on before the Mrs found out.

Thanks! My latches were not in position. The spring is very strong so you need to be super careful not to crush your fingers! I used a solid hammer to leverage the spring and put the latches back in place.
Nice! Glad I watched. One needs to be very careful, as I found if the latch is not seated down, the spring could snap the assembly back. It grazed my hand, so be careful.
