Lou signed Alex up for Scientology, once they even think you're remotely interested they will go out of their way to make sure you receive some kind of invitation in every conceivable way.

Alex trying to not break character for 10 minutes straight
On the Danish version of this task, one contestant set "our Alex" 's car for sale online for a very favorable price. At the time the show took place he had just recently changed his phone number because people kept calling about the car.

That part got me good. Great task.

Alex (and, I think, his buddy Tim Key) devise the tasks. It's Alex's show. Greg Davies is actually the trained monkey. When I found that out, that Alex really runs everything, and that Greg laughs about how "into" the part he gets, I loved them both more.
I always think , poor alex, but he helps devise the tasks . hahahaah
@@kendrameinerthodson500 The role of the taskmaster is still very much created by Greg though. He invented that character based on Alex wishes. Whilst Alex is completely in control of the tasks, the studio show is equally much planned out/improvised by both of them.

In terms of "worst thing", I think Sian and Lou are clear winners.
They have a better idea than worst thing.
I was expecting cut off limbs, murdered pets, burned down houses, and the like. Clearly none of the contestants have any imagination when it comes to coming up with "the worst possible thing". The only thing stopping outright murder, is that the task states the apology has to be given _to_ him, and not that you can do something _as_ apology (like, say, attend his funeral, maybe even chip in some money for it).

British game show TV has an incredible culture of having like 100 British comedians who all just go around staring on each others comedy game/talk shows where sure, there's game show rules, but really everyone's there to be the funniest.

I'm from Sweden and we have something similar here, it's called "bäst i test" (btw I do not have a clue of who any of these people are but they're kinda funny?)

Hopefully you'll feel a bit better knowing that Alex writes the tasks and is the show's creator, producer, and EP. He's in complete control, which I think is what makes the show work.

Look, you make a distraction bit ready, so the next thing really does look like a serious thing. So this is what you do: Come up to alex and start apologizing for a thing stupid enough to get him just a bit crossed and then you start acting like you are about to have a heart attack/ panic attack/ just whatever involves fainting or generally tends to make people worried about your safety, And at the end apologize and say that its for the show. And then you go on for tge rest of your life knowing you absolutely fucking crushed the task AND scared Alex shitless
