A well presented video!👍👍 Linux Mint is my daily driver.
Waiting for all AMD guide. Thank you!
Great tutorial. It would be great to do a guide for creating the bootable usb of Mac OS in Windows. Most people usually run Windows I think.
I already have a guide that shows how to create the bootable USB in Windows - ua-cam.com/video/s_zlanxCWeM/v-deo.html
@@BartechTV wow thanks!
I have a problem with the boot there is no recovery in boot menu
@@andrewooo86 Same Problem Here. I have a Fujitsu P920 and an i5 4670
@@andrewooo86 It can by called "Base System" or "Recovery Image" in boot menu depending which system you try to install. It's the same bootable environment.
Thanks 🎉🎉👍👍👍
Thank you so much, It works in my Lenovo M93p using Ventura, but I tried the EFI to Sonoma not working.
Thank you for this wonderful guide but i have a little issue when i patch the hd4600. In System information after reboot i have the Full 1536mb of vram but it’s very laggy when i hide a window and watch a video. Could you please help me?I tried to change smbios from iMac 18,2 to 18,1 but nothing is changed…
How long does it usually take to generate a Serielnumber? I am trying to find a working one but ran out of tries at the apple page on my Mac and iPhone :D
I made the bootable usb but when I load Ventura it shows the Apple logo but nothing happens
Hi,
All works fine following your videos excepted audio. Speakers plugged on motherboard (rear) green jack. Try different layout-id with alcid= but I don’t find how it work. Any tips ?
I got the bootable usb but when I load Ventura it just stays at the Apple logo nothing happens?
Wonderful video! Quite step by step description. I am new to this area and have a Fujitsu P520 with i7 4790, 16GB Ram. I have a question., the Ventura 13.5.1 is not available on SWCDN, can this work with later Ventura such as 13.6.1 or 13.6.5? A reply would be helpful. Thanks
Yes it works the same way with later versions.
Could you create one using windows on creating a bootable mac OS
Hi, nice video, who doesn't have a Mac to do the operations you do from the Apple OS system, can you do it from Linux or Windows? can you make some guides for those who don't have apple?? Thank you
i made my usb, but my fujitsu doesnt recognize the usb it doesnt show my apple partition, what can i do?
I got the bootable usb but when I load Ventura it just stays at the Apple logo nothing happens? Any ideas?
Excellent this worked for me installing Sonoma however i cannot create a Apple ID. I tried via browser and i get message cannot create at this time ? Help please
is istallation on Ryzen processor the same ?
Great channel! 🙏🏻
Bought all the hardware for this project in hopes of getting it to work myself. Unfortunately also stuck at the Apple logo after boot menu - unable to start install.
Any tips on how to proceed?
Have tried 3+ different USB-disks as bootables, will continue trying.
Found the problem, partially. Some of the kext were not linked:
• SMCSuperIO
• SMCProcessor
This was signified by the red “dots” next to the kext, instead of green colored like the others. Had to download them manually and plop them in the OCAT specified directory.
Now I get well on they way on install, before computer restarts at ~75%.
I will try a different USB drive to boot from. If that does not work I will try and enable verbose install, if there is such a thing, to see where in the installation things go off track..
I’ll keep you posted.
Have tried booting install from different USB drives.
Now the issue seems to be the hard drives i try to install MacOS on. No matter how I format and partition two different drives.
Depending on what I do the install log varies, but a common thread seems to be ”ignoring bom filesystems mismatch due to security setings” ..
I have tried both extended journaled with GUID and APFS. Both break down at 12-minute mark during install.
Any takers?
@@chilltrate6934 hey, did you find a solution?
you should make the from windows to mac tutorial bruh
One question, did you do the steps at the NVRAM icon in OCAD also when installing the dedicated gpu? ( at min 03:50 )
The iGPU frame buffer patches you see at 5:53 should all be gone. In this video I delete two and leave one. If you're disabling the iGPU in the BIOS and using a DGPU then you should delete all three since there's no iGPU to patch.
Thanks a lot @@BartechTV 🙏
Can you please make a video where you show in detail how to map usb?
I made one a few weeks ago - ua-cam.com/video/LmCW6Ub_0to/v-deo.html
@@BartechTV pardon!!!! Thanks
Do i need the patcher for rx 570 4gb or it is gonna be recognized by the system automatically??? Thanks for the video the simpliest one i ve seen
Rx 570 is natively supported. There’s no need for patching
how you deal with no bootable devices found
I found a cheap dell optiplex 3050
I can see there is allready a premade EFI file for it,how can I mount the EFi to the installation media via windows 11(I don't own a Mac)thank you for the great videos!!
I made a video a few weeks ago that explains how to mount a Hackintosh EFI Partition in Windows - ua-cam.com/video/c7pbPoLY7UI/v-deo.html
Thank you very much for your reply :) I will check the video and come back to you in case of questions!
how do you do it on windows
I used this guide with a H81M-HDS + i54460. Ventura installed and boots fine with USB - copied the EFI to the SSD - (though I think the latest version of patcher copied it so replaced it anyway). BUT...
Remove the USB and I get 'reboot and select proper boot device' error?
In Bios I changed the boot#1 device to SSD - still no luck - any ideas?
(Note: strangely in the bios boot selector it says UEFI before the USB - but not the SSD) Hmmm.
Sounds like you may have copied the EFI folder to the main partition of the SSD instead of the EFI partition. You need to mount the EFI partition of your SSD with OCAT and copy it there.
@@BartechTV Did that - Mounted both efi's - copied over. hmmmm? Also tried the rename of the EFI partition - no luck.
@@BartechTV Turns out the ASRock motherboard has particular problems with the EFI being recognised.
Nice Video. But what is the config of this system. Is that a normal windows PC or a Hachintosh Build?
It's a Fujitsu P420 office PC from 2013 that I bought on Ebay. It has a Core i5 4570, integrated HD 4600 graphics and 8GB of RAM.
@@BartechTVGreat enough. It would be good if you can make a video on the installation process for learning and education. thanks..
I’m attempting to do this with the pretty much the same hardware but I’m hoping that my 1050ti works fine with it
Only AMD graphics cards are supported, so you’ll have to use the integrated graphics on your CPU. Your 1050ti won’t work.
Ahhh unfortunate
Will this work on a FUJITSU FUTRO S520? Fujitsu PC are hard to come by here but I did find this one.
No, the Futro S520 uses an unsupported AMD SOC.
You don't need to get a Fujitsu PC specifically, there's nothing special about this PC that makes it more hackintoshable than any other. If you can't get this PC just get a Dell, or an HP, or a Lenovo, with a 4th gen or newer Intel CPU.
What about same video but "...from windows"?
Hi,
I am in despair. Today all my parts arrived, I was really happy but the installation doesn't work. The installation stops at 12 minutes and then the PC restarts but does not boot into the installation. Is it a problem because of the NVME?
I have the same components as you. I am desperate. Please help me :(
Hi, did this work for you? I am new to this and kind find Ventura 13.5.1, my question is, will Ventura later versions work?
I keep getting stuck on the Apple logo I followed everything
Just followed all of the steps. I manage to get to the open core boot picker but then nothing happens. I see a apple logo and that’s it
Probably you have some kind of problem with drivers. Watch what is your chipset. Delete all unnecessary drivers from kext folder in EFI(resurch also how to do that properly). And also Resurch "boot troubleshooting opencore"
Hi, i tried the same build in ventura but When I patch and reboot my loading stucks at 1/4 of the progression bar. Pls help me
For the last step, when you root patch your installation ? I have the same problem, I am guessing it may be because I used the Intel i7 4770 in place of the i5, could it be the reason why ? I didn’t check if this processor have internal gpu, or a different one. What could make it not work ?
I copied the EFI folder into the EFI Partition on my SSD, but the PC cannot boot from it. Did I miss something? Also my Ethernet doesn't work. I have the exact same machine that you used in your video.
If your ethernet doesn't work, it means that RealtekRTL8111.kext isn't loaded. So, that means either you didn't copy it to the OC/kexts folder (6:21), or you didn't add it to your config.plist under kernel->add (7:06), or both.
If you can't boot from the SSD, then the EFI folder from the USB isn't properly copied over to the EFI partition of your SSD, or SATA mode isn't set to AHCI, or the SATA port isn't enabled in the BIOS.
Would this work on an hpg1 800elitedesk? It also has a core5
Yes, it would.
Can i use vga port? I have a monitor which only have vga port
Unfortunately NO, AppleOS work only with digital video connections.
if you were to download the ventura thing on windows would it work not too sure just asking as i dont have a mac in my house ( i feel stupid asking this sorry)
The Ventura installer that Apple makes available for download comes in the form of a macOS executable that only runs in macOS. To create an installer USB in Windows you have to use a different method, as shown in this video - ua-cam.com/video/s_zlanxCWeM/v-deo.html
Hi, Any tips on how to make the hdmi port on hackintosh work? Because, I have been struggling with it for some time now
On laptop or desktop?
@@BartechTV laptop
Hi man, i have the same pc as you and everything works except booting without usb while moving the EFI, how did you solve it?
Use OpenCore Auxiliary Tools to mount the EFI partitions of both your USB and your SSD, and then copy the EFI folder from the USB to your SSD. Then you can remove the USB and boot directly from the SSD.
@@BartechTV I've already done this and it doesn't work anyway. Is there anything you did off camera?
??
What if you do not have a mac before this tutorial? Can I use linux?
I don't know. It's probably possible but I haven't used Linux in more than a decade. You can create an installation USB in Windows, though. I made a separate video showing how to do that - ua-cam.com/video/s_zlanxCWeM/v-deo.html
@@BartechTV Thank you, you are one very amazing creator. Replying to me literally within 30 minutes. I salute you.
I'm curious: what made you choose this desktop? I mean I can't find anything that says "these preassembled PCs are great for hackintosh" - like I can't find a hardware list out there. So why start here? Could you use anything that's Intel-based?
The only reason I bought this particular PC is that it was cheap. It's possible to run macOS on practically any older PC with a 4th gen or newer CPU, thanks to OpenCore.
Is ur wifi working? What do you use
There is no WiFi on this computer. It has Gigabit Ethernet. If you need WiFi you can add a PCIe WiFi card or a USB WiFi dongle.
Can i do this from Windows? I wanna build an Hackintosh but have no apple Computer
Yes I have a separate video on my channel that shows how to create the USB in Windows.
@@BartechTV found it thx mate
I am trying the same thing but after patching it freezes at loading. I think the VGA port is not supported. How did you managed to do it?
It won't work with VGA. MacOS doesn't support VGA because the last Mac with a VGA port came out almost 20 years ago. You need to use the DVI port. I used a DVI->HDMI adapter.
@@BartechTV ordered a dvi-d to vga adapter hope it will work. Thanks!
@@BartechTV oh and by the way, when i add a GPU the system does not want to boot. The fans are full speed and then nothing happens. Any clue why is that? It was a gt210 for testing, tried another old gpu and it does the same thing
It looks like you are starting he process ona mac computer already? How to start on Windows PC?
I made a separate video showing how to create the installation USB in Windows - ua-cam.com/video/s_zlanxCWeM/v-deo.html
What's a Fujifilm desktop PC?
I followed the guide, and after plugging the flash I see right from the bios: OC: Failed too bootstrap SB
NVRAM values - Invalid Parameter
Halting on critical error
Can you help me, what is wrong?
The difference I see, that the OCAuxiliaryTools from the Lin you've provided display "OpenCore 0.8.8" on the strip bar GUI, but on your recording your OCAuxiliaryTools GUI display "openCore 0.9.3" how to 'fix' it?
Thank you
Can you tell where to get AppleALC Lilu kexts?
I've managed to start installation, but apple logo is stuck on progress about 20%, keyboard CAPS LED reacts, what could be the problem?
It's because I'm not familiar with OCA tool, there is a button to update OC. Im afraid we have to update OC to install MacOS on Fujitsu PC.
i have a nvidia rtx 3060ti, and am using a display port what settings do i have to change?
You have to change your GPU. MacOS doesn’t have any Nvidia support. Only AMD.
@@BartechTV bruh, i dont have internal graphics either
I ran a GT 210 in Catalina for about 6 years. I don't remember how was configured but i didn't nothing special to make it run
Hi, thanks for this easy tutorial. Everything is working fine until I run the post-install root patch. When I reboot, I can log on. But in less than a minute, os is freezing. I don't undertsand, because I can use my system normaly without graphic acceleration. After applying Opencore Legacy patch : everything goes wrong :(
What is your CPU?
It’s an intel core i3 4130.
So that's HD 4400 graphics, and you have it spoofed as HD 4600 ? I've heard of others with crashes related to WindowServer not reporting in when using OCLP and a spoofed HD 4400, perhaps due to a bug in OCLP's graphics driver patches. Check that you have the latest version of OCLP, and that you have "IGD Memory" set to "64M" and "DVMT/Fixed Memory set to "MAX" in the BIOS. In your config.plist, under Device Properties->PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x2,0x0), you should have AAPL,ig-platform-id set to 0300220D and device-id set to 12040000. Try removing the framebuffer-fbmem, framebuffer-patch-enable and framebuffer-stolenmem patches since they shouldn't be needed after setting IGD memory in the BIOS.
If that doesn't help then I'm sorry but I don't have any more suggestions. You could get a cheap i5 with HD 4600 graphics, so that the spoof is no longer needed, or get a cheap GPU like an RX 560 or RX 460 so that you can disable the iGPU entirely and not need to use OCLP at all.
@@BartechTV
HD 4400 spoofed as HD 4600 -> ok
Latest version of OCLP -> check
Bios settings -> I will check
Devices Properties in config.plist -> I will try to remove framebuffer options
Thanks for your advices.
If something change how it works, I will post another comment.
@@BartechTV Nothing to do :(
I will try to find a better CPU if I can.
Thanks again !
Will this also work with a i5 4590 CPU ?
Yes, for sure.
Thanks @@BartechTV for your quick reply. I bought the exact same set of hardware you did. The Fujitsu 420 and also a rx 460. I tried the stick from this video with or without the dgpu. All I see in the Apple logo and thats it. It got stuck there. I tried 3 different CPUs (i3-4140, i5 4570 and now the i5 4590). None of them let me pass through to the disk utility tool of the recover tool. I guess thats the advantage of building a Hackintosh. Sometimes it works butter smooth and sometimes - even with almost the same parts - it wont and nobody can tell you why which is kinda frustrating. But anyways thanks for your tutorials. Very nice to watch them all. If you have any advice, i would more than appreciate it. Thanks!
So i need an macbook to achieve it?
No you can use Windows if you like. There’s a video on my channel that shows how.
@@BartechTV I tried on macos catalina and I'm getting "command not found" error in terminal :(
you didn't show your PC configuration and I think no dedicated graphics card present in the system
You didn't really start from the beginning. If I bought this PC off of ebay, I need to know the real starting point. So, do I need an already running mac to be able to do any of this?
Starting with macOS, you can prepare USB media with all macOS system (about 12GB). Starting with Windows is possible (BarTechTV made a UA-cam video about it) but you prepare a USB key with macOS Recovery tools only that request macOS downloading during setup. That"s why you need prepare a full macOS media after installing your first workable Hakintosh.
As already said, please provide links.
Already done
I have copied the efi 10 times and it still wont boot without the usb stick just going to leave the usb stick in the machine much easier
also my hdmo audio doesnt work and it looks like a major pain to fix
This PC has no HDMI, only DVI. You can't get HDMI audio from a DVI port with a DVI to HDMI adapter because DVI only carries a video signal, no audio. You can add a graphics card with HDMI output to get HDMI audio, and any connector patching should be handled automatically by Whatevergreen.kext.
You should only need to copy it once. It needs to be on the EFI partition of your SSD, not on the main partition. The EFI partition should be a FAT32 partition 200MB in size, and would have been created automatically by Disk Utility when you formatted the SSD during the install process.
EFI pls
Yea this video shows you how to create the EFI.

Somehow strange! To install Ventura on a so-called Windows machine is apparently an Apple Mac absolutely necessary?
But maybe I'm too stupid even for an Apple?
A working macOS machine isn't absolutely necessary but it is much easier, due to the way Apple distributes macOS. They no longer distribute macOS as a disk image. They distribute it as a macOS application, which you have to run in order to get the disk image.
However, you can create a bootable Ventura installation USB in Windows by following the instructions in my other video -ua-cam.com/video/s_zlanxCWeM/v-deo.html
