This is an incredible machine
Tyres on wrong way. Would travel twice the speed in reverse. Done with a County years ago with Helium in tyres and centers covered. 66 x43.00 x25 Terra-Tires. Tractor did more than double speed in reverse.
It's not a boat, it doesnt need speed. It just needs to get across waterways.
Speed is relative. Only talking about the difference between.5km or 1km. Original version all those years ago didn’t have enough forward speed to keep a straight course or combat strong wind

@@garlandremingtoniii1338 obviously you are not familiar with agri tyres and only know what you see in pictures. Maybe i don't either but i was a Terra-Tire Distributor for 27 years and we fitted over 1000 such tyres in many different ways. Do a search on 'County Seahorse Tractor' and you will see a tractor crossed the English Channel in 1963 with the tyres on the 'wrong' way.

Why are there arm floaties on the mirrors and what good are they gonna do? If the air displacement in the tires won’t keep it afloat, I don’t think the floaties will either.

That tractor can't have any ballast in the tires, just air. So it will be limited in the load it can pull
it dont need extra ballast,, its a LIGHT WEIGHT TRACTOR FOR SAY CRANBEERY, ore rice farms with wet soft fields.
i have tryed driving over a swamp with a 12.000+ pound tractor pulling just a few logs, luckyly that tractor had a triple 20 ton winsj, so if i felt the tires slipping, i could give some slack on the wire that held the logs, and if that wasnt enough,, i had to pull another wire to a nearby treestump. and pull first the tractor and then the logs out. hehe
with this tyoe of light tractor i probably had done a better job using less fuel and neded a smaller lighter winsj.

I asked the same thing. Why? It is useless. It carries and can do nothing. I can float a quad. So?
The floating shows off how much tire per kg you have, so you can drive soft soil without destroying / compacting it, this thing could never get stuck in the mud. Also it lets you cross water, seems like enough reason right?

The original county sea horses didnt have pto props. They relied on the propulsion from the tyres. One managed to cross the english channel in 8 hours in the 60s

Well, you've seen that they have tires to float a tractor, now someone needs to built a PTO powered gearbox with a propeller on it so the thing can move in the water better.

It took an original county sea horse just under 8 hours to cross the 28 mile english channel in the 60s

So, I was driving my tractor across my pond in low gear, I caught a submerged stump with one wheel, and it flipped over. We drug it out with my other tractor, but now it won't start. That's under warranty, right ?
