BAsically everything palestine does is a war crime. They use child soilders, they store weapons in public places which turns them into legitmate targets according to the law, (and is a war crime for the side that uses civilian infrastructure as cover), they steal humantarian aid and use it to fuel wars, encouraging hostage taking and burtalizing civilans. The Gaza Strip is governed by Hamas, as they were elected in 2007. Keep in mind, over 50% of Gaza’s 2.2 million residents are under the age of 15, meaning they did NOT elect them. Additionally, almost 80% of Hamas soldiers are Palestinian children whose families were martyred, killed by Israelis, leaving them orphans. After WW2, the Jews arrived in Palestine on ships, and the Palestinians accepted them into their homes and lived side by side with them. Jews, Muslims, and Christians lived on the land together, and that land was called Palestine. In 1948, the Jews attacked the others, killing thousands of Palestinians in their homes and expelling almost a million. Some Palestians who had left their home that morning had come back later that day only not to be let in by the same families they let stay in their homes. This started a huge war, genocide, and ethnic cleansing , going on to this day. Palestinians on that land were put in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, deliberately making it impossible to have a united country called Palestine. Gaza is and has been controlled by Israel for decades. They control who comes in and out, what they eat, where they live and all aspects on their life. Thousands of Palestinians die every year at the hands of the Israeli occupation built on thier land and the land of the ancestors. There are people in Gaza older than the state of Israel itself. Year after year, Israel is taking more land from the Palestinian people, invading their towns and kicking them out of their homes to make room for more Jewish people coming in from all over the world. Those hostages taken by Hamas were taken for negotiation with the Israeli government, as israel has thousand of Palestinian kids and adults in their jails for throwing rocks or even walking on the wrong side of the road. Israel has refused to take back its citizens and is using this as an opportunity to do what it’s always wanted to do, kill all Palestinians and take their land.
This did not start on October 7th, this started in 1948. Hamas didn’t just randomly decide to do this one day. They have been pushed and prodded and provoked. Imagine your bully beating you up every single day for years and finally one day you hit back, but suddenly the whole world is against you and YOURE the aggressor. The Gaza Strip is governed by Hamas, as they were elected in 2007. Keep in mind, over 50% of Gaza’s 2.2 million residents are under the age of 15, meaning they did NOT elect them. Additionally, almost 80% of Hamas soldiers are Palestinian children whose families were martyred, killed by Israelis, leaving them orphans.
After WW2, the Jews arrived in Palestine on ships, and the Palestinians accepted them into their homes and lived side by side with them. Jews, Muslims, and Christians lived on the land together, and that land was called Palestine. In 1948, the Jews attacked the others, killing thousands of Palestinians in their homes and expelling almost a million. Some Palestians who had left their home that morning had come back later that day only not to be let in by the same families they let stay in their homes. This started a huge war, genocide, and ethnic cleansing , going on to this day.
Palestinians on that land were put in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, deliberately making it impossible to have a united country called Palestine. Gaza is and has been controlled by Israel for decades. They control who comes in and out, what they eat, where they live and all aspects on their life.
Thousands of Palestinians die every year at the hands of the Israeli occupation built on thier land and the land of the ancestors. There are people in Gaza older than the state of Israel itself. Year after year, Israel is taking more land from the Palestinian people, invading their towns and kicking them out of their homes to make room for more Jewish people coming in from all over the world.
A Jewish person born and raised in Brooklyn has more rights as soon as they step foot in Israel than a Palestinian person who was born and raised there would ever have.
Those hostages taken by Hamas were taken for negotiation with the Israeli government, as israel has thousand of Palestinian kids and adults in their jails for throwing rocks or even walking on the wrong side of the road. Israel has refused to take back its citizens and is using this as an opportunity to do what it’s always wanted to do, kill all Palestinians and take their land.
This did not start on October 7th, this started in 1948. Hamas didn’t just randomly decide to do this one day. They have been pushed and prodded and provoked. Imagine your bully beating you up every single day for years and finally one day you hit back, but suddenly the whole world is against you and YOURE the aggressor. Israel is not a victim, it has been proven that they commit war crimes against the Palestinian people, not just in this current clash, but for the last few DECADES.

A type of “guilty pleasure” I have is even listening to podcasters I know don’t agree with me on certain topics. Why?
