Also, maybe Ian thought of that old man who followed him to seek revenge when the German officer said the same thing to him. To prevent that being out there to be a possibility, he killed the German officer so there was no chance of that happening again.
Wonderful episode . It stayed with Jamie and Clair , this what made it so endearing . One things was good Claire until she got vitally injured, regained her vitality , her energy. She again became Clair , we used to know from the beginning of Season 1 . Strong , kind, sparkle in her eyes and such a powerful character .
You had a good round-off explanation of this episode. ‘was worried of Mandy rushing to the stone though,,,,, hope she didn’t slip away from Bree and Jem.
Enjoyed your analysis of the episode. I could see how this could continue for another block of episodes in season eight without Clair though. There are enough developed characters and there's her legacy in a sense. There'd be plenty to make fiction of. Plus they could always backtrack and fill in with new scenes of Clair. Plus there's always the time travel aspect if she dies. Jamie probably would become enabled for that. But you're right, probably she'd live on since they've already set out the conditions for her surviving the operating table. This was an extremely interesting episode and I especially relished the 1739 parts and the development of Roger's forefather Buck. The stones travel back to then before was remarkably unexpected and raised the dynamics of the story.
One more comment (sorry, my brain thinks sporadically): Jamie said he’d fight off angels is God sent them for Claire, is there any relation to the final episode being called A Hundred Thousand Angels?
I thought she would go with Jamie I was disappointed & with Roger & Brianna I thought they would come together 😢😢 I guess we will see how it ends 🙏❤️😘🌹
The books are far more detailed. I am waiting for the final book having read all nine. I find the tv series disappointing on the whole as it leaves so much of what happened in the books out and also adds things that didn’t.
@ could be 🤭 I find that when they try to make the female characters more important than the male characters they just come off as stubborn feminists 🙄
Wow!! "insufferably perfect?" Like when she slept w/Lord John? I suppose the protagonist (told from their point of view) can be so horrible that folks return to watch every week.
bro its an epic time to start explaining anime episodes as anime is trending all across this planet. Also anime movies like Demon slayer:Infinity castle arc movies, chainsaw man :Reze movie ( trailer got 24.6 million video from yt and twitter in just 15 days) is all set to earn few 100 millions from theatres.
The actress playing Claire has 2 expressions, I swear. So painful to watch. The show has been going downhill since season 3. And don't even start me on the crazy fandom! Old ladies obsessed with the actor playing Jamie. Cringe 😂😂😂
I like the actor of Jamie and actress of Claire and i'm young🤷🏼♀️ I look critically at the behavior of the characters played. The actor can't do anything about it.
Do you think Clare will survive? Let me know your thoughts in the comments!
Of course, she does.
Yes,she does.
Claire is in the A-Team
Ian remembers what happened with Bug and he wasn't going to let that threat happen again.
They've taken the Indian stuff with him too far though. After less time than this he should of re-Anglified, re-whited. I kept expecting it.
@@derekjolly3680I agree lol it’s too much atp
Also, maybe Ian thought of that old man who followed him to seek revenge when the German officer said the same thing to him. To prevent that being out there to be a possibility, he killed the German officer so there was no chance of that happening again.
Good point! Didn’t think of that.
Of course she survives, whether you read the wonderful books or not, you know Claire is the first character you see, so shell be the last!
Let's hope so!

Claire survives she is in season 8. I think next episode they will go back to Frasiers ridge where Breanna, Roger and kids will turn up too
Great review! Yes, Claire will survive until her hair turns completely white and she comes into her full powers.
When Claire was shot, I was very worried. But when Jamie called that one doctor a "wh0re" I had to laugh hard😂.

As long as she's thinking of Roger hopefully she'll be alright!

Diana Gabaldon never said that Claire would die. She did say that much would happen to both Claire andJamie.
I absolutely love this show! ❤
Yeah it's such a strong show! Nothing else like it on TV

Yess give it love ❤❤❤❤❤
Le face to face des premières minutes est bouleversant. Épisode intense. J ai adoré. comme d habitude j ai envie de dire.LOFE❤❤❤❤
Of course she will! Great episode. The only thing that was weird was Denny putting on a mask of our time.
Claire taught him that. She had them for him and Mercy and Lord John when she did Henry’s surgery.
I feel like Master Raymond will be back in the last episode
Interesting theory!
Of course she will!
Let's hope so!
Moving and emotional episode..
It really was!
Why does Jane looks so much like Bree
I thought she would go with Jamie I was disappointed & with Roger & Brianna I thought they would come together 😢😢 I guess we will see how it ends 🙏❤️😘🌹
Все очень трогательно сыграно 😢👍🏻 Но очень хочется чтоб конец сериала был счастливый!🌅❤
Как прекрасно видеть комменты на русском! Приветствую тебя, моя сестра по Чужестранке!❤
Think so as she has just finished season 8 🤣
🤫 😂
I haven't read the books but what if season 8 shows only flashbacks with Claire. I doubt it but the thought keeps creeping into my mind.
Just read the books!

I could certainly do with a Claire free season 8 she’s so insufferably perfect 🙄
Oh wow! Bold!
Exactly! She's insufferable, self-righteous and rigid. Can't stand her. Maybe its the wooden actress who plays her.

Well, I guess I forgot that when women become "old" they stop being human.🙄
