It's really not bad to get consistent. Two frame window with some good indicators. It's basically the same difficulty as hitting delayed kill rush off hp.

His general damage per opening without meter is kind of underwhelming, even with EX snatcher combos The two advantages that ed does have as far as damage goes, is that while he may be lacking in consistently high damage he makes up for it with burst damage in the form of his level 2 combos and easily accessible routes into a potent knockdown. Pretty much any knockdown Ed gets mid screen will lead into a +6 (exact number depends) command dash on oki, this strong setup paired with heavy blitz already knocking them a fair distance allows for a strong way to claim screen real-estate while also getting to freely continue pressure. His level 2 is pretty self explanatory, but one of the unsung heroes of this super is the massive corner carry and safe jump setups after the fact. These two things combined with solid strike throw and snatcher setups on oki allow for a pretty scary offensive game when he’s loaded up or gets a knockdown
