Love your new laundry room makeover. One suggestion, Lowes sells a product I use on grout. Made by Tile Guard/Homax called Tile Grout Coating. It looks like a shoe polish dispenser with a dauber. I clean the grout and let it completely dry. Use the container upside down so the dauber will dispense the liquid onto the grout line. If you get liquid into the tile (you will), just wipe it with a damp cloth after it dries. I do my full shower every few years when it starts to look sad. I swear by it. I use white, but I think it now comes in other colors. Check it out. My tile is 32 years old, and after I use this, it looks like new. If you have very small tiles as I have on the large shower and bathroom floors, it takes a while. You have large tiles, so it would not be too hard to do. It comes in a 4.3 oz dispenser and was not very expensive (last time I bought it). Just saw it on Amazon for 9.08 for the 4.3 oz size. This is much cheaper than a rug, and rolling your cart over a throw rug will be frustrating. This is easier to keep clean. Good luck.

Thank you for your kind words. We've made those mistakes before so we've learned our lessons a long time ago 🤣 . We started DIY renovating our first house in 2006 and it was a hot mess express. We learned a lot. We made mistakes. I need to find that old hard drive of pictures so can make a video and tell some stories on myself.

One small suggestion, in the open space where the laundry sorter is how about a tall cabinet for all of the things you have hanging 🤔
I had thought about it but I need access to the on off water supply and drain to the washing machine machine. My husband is not a fan of having that covered up by a cabinet or concealed by things that can't be pushed aside fast and easily.

You guys did great. That laundry room has a challenging/odd layout and you definitely improved the functionality of the space. Getting rid of the yellow looks so good! I've been here since you got this house and definitely remember those tiles you put up a long time ago. Great job 😊
Thank you!! If I could go back in time I would have chosen a stackable washer dryer so I could run bottom cabinets in that corner but overall I am so happy with how it ended up with the washer dryer we have now.

Please make sure to put edging on your cut edge of your countertop by your laundry sorter, to keep it clean and dry (moisture will cause the cut area to chip and swell up).
Yes! We are going to actually going to peel the extra from the scrap top and glue it to the edge and route the edge like they do for the glue on laminate but haven't yet. Good catch! We are also going to add an end panel to that cabinet because there is a slight gap where the counter and cabinet meet. The time line was a little tight for everything. Thank you.

We just bought that vent cover to match the beige floors! There was a stained wood one there before.
Oh my gosh, I was checking out your outfit when you made the 10/10 comment. You’re just a fashion icon, no doubt! Was also thinking about your weather since y’all are bundled up, we are really having spring weather, could hit 80 soon, already in the 70’s.
All the outfits in this were hilarious because I would film when we had time so not worried about looking good 🤣🤣 I just kept shaking my head. The weather has been so wild lately. Spring is definitely coming.

Looking at it in the before it looks pretty good it just needs cleaning and paint over that backsplash or a new one that’s lighter and prettier. The after is better. You are very lucky to have a big laundry room too. I like the laundry cart area to the left of the washer and dryer. Also the ironing board holder on the wall is nice. I will have to get one of those. I have been wanting to hang mine too.👍
Thank you. It needed proper storage in there the most. The long counter was a massive drop zone. Now everything has its place. I am so happy to have this much space for storage. My previous house was a laundry closet in the kitchen and I made that work for me as well with extra storage.
