An Eldritch Knight or Arcane Trickster would be super neat for this background. Working in some non-lethal (Or set up for a kill...) spells like Hold person to nail your target without them getting away
I had a multiclass ranger/rouge with Urban Bounty Hunter background. He was from the Dalelands, and travelled to Water deep tracking the group that raided his village, once in the city is used my ranger skills to become a bounty hunter. DM would let me take out bounties, eventually discovering that the group was part of Xanathar's thieves guild.
My Tabaxi Inquisitive Rogue has this background. I like its role playing potential. My character always “knows a guy” when the party goes to a new city.
I want to make a bounty hunter with warlock probably undead. I want to multiclass but not sure what to go either ranger or fighter. What do you guys think?
