I'm terrible at following written instructions. So Jorge's video on the Hunter x2 was outstanding. It really helped me. I've seen other video's but Jorge's was the best.
Jorge was excellent and easy to understand. He went through each step and made it easy to follow his explanation of how-to program the controller. Thank You Jorge.
Excellent video. New home buyer and it was pre set to water everyday. Wanted to change the watering schedule and couldn’t figure it out. This answered all my questions. Had a rain bird before which was more straightforward
Thank you! Just programmed my first irrigation system based on your video! Very helpful step-by-step process. Now have to figure out how to fix my irrigation lines…
Thank you! New homeowner and the builder breezed through everything and a month later realized only one section of my home was being water, then got confused why my watering system was still going, because I confused the zones with cilycle time. Not looking forward to the high water bill, lesson learned.
Great video that answered my question about A1 start time running all A Zones in sequence (no need to set an A2 start time if I only want to run my sprinklers once per day).
Man I have to tell you, I've been trying to figure this damn thing out for about a week now and this video games down is the best one of them all. I understand how it works now. Thank you so much! They better pay you for this one.
Thank you Mr. Zepeda for the video. It was very clear and understandable. You helped me set my sprinkler system correctly and figure out what I was doing wrong and why it was not working. Thank you again!
My go-to video for my Hunter system. Thank you for doing this. 1 question, when I went to the dial for setting the watering days, it had "A" and "31/30". What do the numbers mean?
@@richardhingst if I’m not mistaken the 31/30 is on a cycle of 31 days it will water the selected the days every 30 days . I would just hit the left arrow button until you get to the M-Sunday options and select your days as desired. Or you can pick how you’d like the calendar to run and how many days of each days cycle you’d like to water on the original options of 31/30
Thanks Jorge for the job well done! In my X2 control the water days showing calender 1-31. Would you please explain to me how i could set up this calender?
When I'm on "Water Days", there is one more setting on mine, interval and days left. What does it mean and what do I set them to? Interval can be set to 1 - 31 and days left can be set up to 1 number less than the interval. I'm confused.
@@ShishirPaudel-j9s I’ll go into my controller to double check. I think though, it might mean days left: the number of days before you reach the 30 or 31 day limit , depending on when you have yours set. For instance if mine is 31, I have 16 days left before I reach day 31 if today is the 15th . Again, I’ll double check that for you.
Very helpful video. But i’m getting 1 issue. Even though when i point on run position, after few minutes it’s showing off. Do you who how can i fix it? Thanks in advance.
To stop any zone from watering you can turn dial to “ Station Run Time “ hit the right arrow button until you reach desired zone and press the minus “-“ button until time reaches 0 and the zone will not run .
Do they all start at A? Mine is working on C so that means the only system that they did is C? Also there’s a C in the box with the wires. Does this mean I have to set everything for C? And not for A? Please help!!! Thanks!
Any program can be used . I usually only use A simply because it’s the one the controller starts with. If everything is set on program C it won’t affect anything . I’m not sure what the C in the controller is for , if controller is what you mean by box . What brand controller is it ?
I have the same question, in the programming mine comes up with option A, B, C, they all work with the zones I have but not what each option is for or why is the same model as yours
i have x2 controller at home and the dis play is the word"OFF" and have the picture of an umbrella underneath. What does it mean and can you help me how to fix it pls?
Rain sensor is active. Your rain sensor is either wet, faulty or the splice where the wires connect from the sensor to your controller has lost connection sending a message that the sensor is wet
Thank you! Now I have to find out why my WiFi disconnected…WiFi stays on Amber, press twice, light just goes off. I think something happened after my app updated.
Yes you can use program A to set your even number zones and program it to run even number days on days to water and you can use program B to set odd number zones and odd number days to water .
I get confused about the odd and even days, if I already selected the days of the weeks I want to water, what will happen if I choose odd or even days? And can I disabled the odd and even day options so that it only waters on the days I set for the week?
I’m sorry I didn’t change it back on the controller . All you have to do to get back to selected days is hit the back arrow button, it should be one push and your back on the option of days to select . I’ll make a short video just to demonstrate it .
If you’re using an auxiliary source of water such as pump from a well or Resaca , or if there is a valve located usually by your backflow preventer that is not a zone valve
HOW DO I RESET IT ? The installer has it running A1 -A4, B1-B4 abd C1 to C4 for an hour each!! New house and tried to contact installer but they refuse to return calls!!! I informed the builder of this and NO MANUAL given.
On each program you have to zero them out . If the start times have all 4 start times set on all programs , you’ll have to turn them all off except for the program A- #1 start time .
The On/Bypass should be set to “ On “ if you have a rain sensor unless you want to bypass the sensor and water despite rain. If your X2 is using the wand it really doesn’t matter, the app lets you choose if you want to water when raining or not . Does this help .
Question, how could I find out how many zones I have. It has wire till the 6. I will like to know it I have more than A cause mine goes all the way to C
Sure thing . If you have six wires you only have six zones . Programs A,B,C are not zones but different programs that can be set . For example , if I want my grass to water 3 days a week I’ll set up their watering schedule on program “ A “ for example. Let’s say I’d like my plants to water every other day , then I would program just those zones to water on program “ B “ so I could water both zones without interfering with each other . All 3 programs “ A,B&C “ allow you to have up to 3 different watering cycles for your 6 zones . Let me know if this helps and I can make a small video to further aid you. Thanks for watching .
@@jimwest1967 check your other programs. Turn dial to start time and press the program button and check the start times on the other programs to ensure they’re all off
