Kawasaki has had this cvt set up on there teryx line for many years and it is already proven itself. I just replaced my belt at 4400 miles. I wish they did a slightly smaller 60” sport machine. Anyway look forward to seeing you guys hit some good tech trails with it.
Been racing against this unit this winter in the CSRA snowcross events. Super impressed with the handling of the unit and overall performance. The Kawi placed first overall for the season beating out all the Turbo units with a very talented driver. Nice to0 see ya's got ahold of one for us to see put through the paces. Cheers boy's
Picked mine up Tuesday and broke it In Sunday and I got to tell ya I was not disappointed in one bit..... it is a bad ass machine ........ I traded my yxz1000r for one..... and no regrets
Great video, really looking forward to more KRX content and mods. It would be really interesting to see a comparison between the KRX and Talon in stock form and with the aftermarket turbo kits in the future. Not everyone needs a 200+hp machine but I think a lot of people would like a NA machine that can be upgraded if the need and budget allow in the future. Might be interesting to see a series with budget builds with some older used machines. Best bang for your buck etc. I know you don't have an endless budget, just an idea. Also really happy to see the battle grounds again now that the weather is starting to get better. Keep it up!
every time you get the POV cam and you guys go over a jump, your body barley moves at all. This is an extremely smooth going unit! And its a kawasaki?? shitttttt. Great video guys!
That’s the same unit I beat on at King Of The Hammers Kawasaki Demo!!! 🤣 actually it was fun...definitely more room in that car than the Polaris!!! Steering feels a little loose but still fun!
The KRX looks like it handles well around the gauntlet! Nice to see that machine do well and hold its own. Kawasaki makes awesome bikes, so I'm glad they carried that into their SXS. Nice review!
Great seeing the krx review....wether or not you keep the machines reviews on new machines are awesome to watch. you can really tell when you've got the krx floored unlike other machines...but I was pretty impressed how after a jump the wheels didnt bounce and how smooth the landings and over all ride looked. Ty gents
If you come to Utah again you should go to Little Sahara sand dunes. It’s only a few hours from Moab and it has Sand Mountain which is more then double the size of China Wall in Glamis.
Another good video! If I hadn't just bought a new Talon I'd look real hard at the KRX! By the way, that Tornado about 50 seconds in looks a whole lot like an old Lincoln Continental! lol
@@mzwak2001 Well, so far I'm pretty happy, but after $1500 to get the suspension tolerable, $700 for a skid plate, $600 for bead locks and another $600 for decent tires, all of which comes stock on the KRX, it does make one pause!!
From the videos it appears to be much quieter in the cabin that most others engine noise suspension ect. Where does it fall in comparison. Thank you for another amazing review.
I was so excited for this video, I have been a polaris guy my whole life and when this came out I was really interested. Comes stock with a lot of great features that polaris and other brands don’t. Carnivores, full doors, metal skid plate, roof, ect. For my style of riding which is a lot of trail riding and hill climbing I think this is going to be perfect for me! Great video guys, thank you!
It's funny you always here people talk about how it's too heavy and underpowered and they never even been in one...... I can't stress enough that this machine is no slouch..... it is a beast..... I traded my yxz1000r for one and have no regrets ...... best decision I ever made ....... no disrespect to the yxz1000r though I loved it also...... but right out the factory the KRX is very impressive....... we took ours to Haspin acres Indiana and it was raining all day Saturday we went Sunday and it was sloppy and a muddy mess but the KRX had no problem going through any of it ...... I absolutely love this machine
A real e brake. It’s the little things. Great video I can’t wait to see some power put to these machines. I just can’t give my turbo yet. Keep up the good work.
Very excited to see info on this unit!!!! I have a can am Defender but i have been looking at a new sporty x3, razer, talon, and kawsaki. Awesome to see
I’ve been waiting to see what you guys think about the KRX. I would love to hear your honest opinion on how the Kawi compares to the Talon. I just turned 50 and I’m not so much into the speed as I once was, so a turbo is not a necessity for me. Although I must say I drove a Pro XP and was wowed. I ride exclusively in central WV so a beefy reliable unit is what I need.
Thanks to u guys I have some cool vids to watch keep it 168 you guys are sxs comedians man love the videos looked for yall at KoH 2020 but had no luck maby next time until then thanks again!!!
I was almost disappointed in the machine when you first started ripping it around. Just seemed like a pretty big slouch. The gauntlet laps saved it though. Looks like a fun machine
Collin the trails we were on had big stones and concrete poles that we just wide enough to get a 64”RZR through. Big sign that said no jeeps. Must have been different trails
Finally. Now you guys have the perfect machine if you ever head back out to Moab! That's the stuff it was built for. 180 HP means nothing in the rocks.
I was able to demo one of those units at koh. It was really fun, but my 2 complaints are the steering wheel seems very slick and I'm also not a fan of how high the brake pedal is in compared to the height of the throttle pedal. The amount of visibility behind you on those is crazy too compared to the x3.
I'm very glad to see you guys testing the KRX. Very impressive machine. There's a lot still left on the table with that engine. I bet it'll really wake up with a turba.
Mine left me stranded in the middle of the West Virginia mountains this past weekend. The lower drivers side knuckle holding the ball joint in place snapped. It was a nightmare trying to get it out 😬
Damn that sux ....... you are the first person I heard of anything breaking...... I just got mine and took it to Haspin acres Indiana Sunday and beat on it pretty good and it handled everything pretty well......
Trevor Braden I live in western Ohio only 1.5 hours away from Haspin but never rode there before. It broke at 180 miles on the last day of a 3 day ride a Hatfield McCoy. I wasn’t beating on it or anything. We mostly only ride green/blue trails. We ended up hooking my winch up to my buddy’s Rzr xp1k spare tire carrier and hoisting it up. Gotta love it, when it’s a slow SxS that’s on loan from a dealership, it gets called a pleasure to be able to flatfoot it and not have to worry about the speed getting you into trouble. Like being slow is now a plus??? And yet the Wildcat got bashed on a daily basis for not being as fast as the turboed machine. And yes, I am one of this Wildcat owners that love their 1000x. Never had an issue other than having to install the rack and pinion steering from 715 Wildcat riders. It’s expensive but now it like butter. 72mph stock is fast enough for me on my Wildcat. I saw a few videos that only have the KRX at 62 actual mph top speed. Now that’s slow for a 2020 1000cc powered SxS.
I loved seeing you guys back at the Battlefield. Despite being a lifetime Honda fan, I really like the looks of that Kawi! It's an awesome looking machine and looks like a blast to drive!
Although I know it would be totally out of character for you guys but, I think you should do some content on some utility SxSs for those of us who have gotten past the sport vehicles. We don't "blast" through the trails much anymore but still love to get out and trail ride, play on the hills, etc. If you guys did some rides on say a Ranger XP900 or XP1000 and then added some suspension & other upgrades to make them more driveable in the trails, I think you'd be surprised at the interest and response. You guys have every sxs on the market but the wildcat xx you sold. I bought one from watching your videos and it’s a shame you sold it. Wish you woulda gave it the love you give the rzrs and x3s got over 3,000 miles on mine with zero issues. Still love the show guys.

Sucks there’s so many people that love there xx’s myself included I beat mine just as hard as sxsblog did and no problems,I was so bummed they sold it , but if my motor blew as soon as there’s I probably would of sold it what I don’t understand is you never hear the yxz’s blowing motors so why have a few people experienced engine failures.
I work at a Powersports dealer in CA and have driven every SXS on the lot. The Kawasaki KRX 1000 has great suspension that is dialed in right out of the box. We drove them last month in the Angels Stadium for the dealers demo day. Power is lacking hard, no butterflies in your stomach when you smash the gas like an X3. Overall suspension is dialed but needs a turbo to keep up with others.
Kawasaki just getting started. They will produce a racer . If its like most things Kawasaki does It will be near or on the top as far as power and performance .
Only thing I don't like is how big they are, would be tough fitting on a lot of the mountain trails I ride around here, that being said they seem well made and they climb like a beast
Epic, i was About to comment on your last video why you guys haven’t touched the new Kawasaki it’s a good looking machine it’s not going to compete with a turbo rzr but give the talon a run for it’s money.
It's KAWASAKI TIME!
I was wondering if you guys would be getting one
Time to put a turbo on it

And it’s a turd lmao
Alex Brand why? Cause it’s heavier and doesn’t have as much HP as other SXS?
jbw5485 I mean yea? And they practically are made of plastic they break so easily
Alex Brand I think your talking abt Polaris
KRX aaaand Battle grounds!! This just boosted my immune system.
+20 immunity boost
They forgot to mention you can shift in and out of 4wd on the fly at any speed with the KRX.
really like the plastics , kinda reminds me of a trophy truck.
