The definition of ungratefulness is never being appreciative of all the gifts
Allah gave us and taking them for granted. In Surat Ar-Rahman, explains
Nouman Ali Khan, Allah tells us to be grateful or else you would be defying
Him, and the punishment for that may not be in this world. You will not get
away with such transgressions and if you think you can escape on judgment
day, you are mistaken. The more grateful you are to Allah’s many blessings, the
more doors he will open for you.
If I go to Jannah in sha Allah, I wish to meet a lot of people and you are one of them.

a few months ago i think 4 or5 i became complete athiest not that i called nyself one but i didnt want to pray or fast or any other thing my family was very concerned for me my cousin told me to watch this guy called nouman ali and the first vidro i watched was about allah jannah i cant really remember the name abd all of a suddent that striked me and i just prayef isha since it was like 12 when i eas watching this video and my life had now changed i pray and read quran and i agree i am not the perfect or best muslim but atleast now i want to pray i want to do dhikr and i just ferl so calm reading the quran thanks to him and tariq jameel

This was so nice I actually cried by thr end of it. Surat Ar Rehman is beautiful and Nouman Ali Khan is just so amazing there are no words for how brilliant I think he is MashaAllah! I have recently become obsessed with his khutbahs and plan to download all the podcasts. May Allah grant me even more guidance through him and his lectures.

Does anyone know how to be protected from negativity? I live in Zagreb, Croatia and I am 20yrs old.. I have everything in my life but people in city I live are so much negative about politics, news, drugs, alcohol everywhere...Even when I am driving these ppl are horning and swearing because Im driving as speed limit is... Sometimes I wish to go on top of some mountain to chill myself from this world....
busilica123 Salam Alayk brother/sister. I definitely can feel your burden. I had the same problem too a few years back but I came across a lecture (sorry I can't remember which one) that reminded me that if I want the world to change the people around me, I have to change myself first. I honestly didn't know how this would work out but I gave it a try. Every time someone curses at me and I felt like cursing back, I thought to myself "I don't want people to curse at the other people so I should do the same too" and so I did. I did the same for many other things too, like when people talk bad about other people I had to refrain myself from giving my negative comments, when people complain too much I realize it was burdening to hear and so I stopped complaining myself because I wanted the world to be like that. Alhamdulillah, Allah has granted me patience to deal with these things and granted the remembrance of Him at times that I needed isolation from the world. It may not give you immediate effect, but insyaAllah it will change the way you deal with things. If you need a time out, try to go somewhere comfortable and quiet, recite one or two pages of the Quran or just take a break enjoying some me-time to yourself, reflecting on the little things we are blessed with in hopes that Allah will never take it away from us. And if you need someone to talk to, you can always share with anyone you trust, or even better, talk to Him for He is the best of Listeners, always happy to hear you out. Always remember that The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) lived among people who hated him and were full of all kinds of negativity that we couldn't probably imagine yet he had the best personality and akhlak, tolerated them, and treated them with love and justice like how the world should be. I hope that inspires you and motivates you by a tiny bit at least. May Allah strengthen your heart to live through the hectic Dunya and May Allah bless you always and in all ways:)
