Most people do not know that this line was used in the introduction each episode on the Wild Wild West TV show. They had a little fenced in area just west of Winchester where they kept the train. I rode this line when they had fan trip from Perris Train Museum to Hemet. I lived at Ryan afield WW2 pilot training housing in 1949 to 1951. Train would go by 2 times per day. Big carrier of potatoes and farming equipment.
Great FACT about the “Wild ,Wild West” show opening using this exact track. W.W. West Was a favorite when l was a kid. That custom rail car had a lot of tricks. My favorite was the flip up side by side shotgun. Lots of tumbleweeds on this track. My eyes are getting itch just looking at this video.👍👍👍👍👍
right especially on a track they know was decommissioned my first thought would be well there's frank and Jesse James at it again from beyond the grave lol
Hermanos, I have idea: install sharp cowcatcher. Muy sharp! At high speed, it might have a machete effect to cut brush plantas? Just an idea. Also, full-face motorcycle helmet and gloves? Love your videos mi hermanos!! 🙏🏽
OMG the flower bushes. All I could think was that song about a girl with flowers in her hair. You must have gotten flowers in your hair too. Maybe a sheet of plexiglass up front would add some safety.
The plant you encounter at 3:05 is known as Datura or Devil's Trumpet and according to Wikipedia, "All species of Datura are extremely poisonous and potentially psychoactive, especially their seeds and flowers, which can cause respiratory depression, arrhythmias, fever, delirium, hallucinations, anticholinergic syndrome, psychosis, and even death if taken internally. Due to their effects and symptoms, Datura species have occasionally been used not only as poisons, but also as hallucinogens by various groups throughout history. Traditionally, their psychoactive administration has often been associated with witchcraft and sorcery or similar practices in many cultures, including the Western world." And now, you know, the rest of the story! Love your videos, Arch.
Rawesome! The last that line was used was about 15 years ago, during the great recession, for storage of unused linked drop-bed flatcars for intermodal containers. Miles of 'em! My cohort & I schemed ways to run a speeder this way. But we found we see the whole route by 4x4, which is what we did.
We need to bring back the red car and open up the line from Perris to San Jacinto. It would be cool to have a classic old trolly running back and forth on weekends.
Hi there, do you need a blade on the front shaped like a cow catcher with a fairly sharp edge so when you hit those weeds just cuts them off and Pushes them to the side.
This is the coolest $hit I've seen in a minute 👍 You got me wanting to build one of these.... but most of the tracks around here still get used occasionally.
Thank you very much for this very interesting video presentation, which is very much appreciated. One wonders why they left this track in situ. Maybe the intention is to lengthen Metrolink at some time. I am sure the people of Winchester would appreciate it.
It is owned by Metrolink and they bough land for station in Hemet. They are planning a Y near Winchester that will go down and get riders from Murrietta and Temecula and take them to Riverside. This makes a lot of sense as almost everyone in Temecula commutes to greater Riverside area each day and 215 Freeway is over burdened.
6:45 Descarrilamiento inminente. 8:12 Colmenas a la izquierda. 10:35 Vía tapada. 11:57 Si continuaron, mas diversión. 12:43 No hubo diversión.
Put two sharp blades out in front so that all the green is cut through ggg also put a camera in the back.. perhaps put on a bick plast screen in the front
It is you think there using that with all the roads cutting it off and sections where it is compromised by flooding and completely unsupported beneath the track 😮.
@@shurikengaming1191 It is out of service, owned by the transit district, posted as no tresspassing. Buddy got a big fine and had his speed seized over just such a ride
Archie, you need a plastic wind screen for the front of your rail cart to deflect the tall weeds!😊
Yes !!! Thank!
Maybe a “V” or wedge nose to make weeds kick to side.
Yyyyyyyyyyyy
Yeah be nice to built it full cover with doors window all the works

WW West was my favorite show. Loved the train!!❤😊@@johnroma9412
What a beautiful ride on a beautiful clear day 🌞. Looks fun!
We need to raise money to buy tracks to fix and keep open for speeders of all kinds. Let everyone use it before it's gone.😁❤️🇺🇸
My allergies flared up just watching this with all those little yellow weed flowers. I really enjoy your videos.
Love your Videos! Greetings from Berlin.
I think you need a powerful lawn mower attached to the front of Little Fox, but this was a fun journey!
Maybe mount some machete blades on the front?
I get hey fever just watching.
Good work boys! Regards from Sweden!
Thank you!!!!👍👍👍👍💯
i always wonder what people think when they hear a random train horn out of nowhere
right especially on a track they know was decommissioned my first thought would be well there's frank and Jesse James at it again from beyond the grave lol
Love it awesome. Thank you.
There are so many 😂 😂
The most enjoyable video you made, free salads 🥗 🥗 directly from the ground
muy emocionante el recorrido...

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Awesome. Been waiting for this one after seeing the pics on your Instagram.
😊😊😊😊
This is such an interesting channel and I think the next item on the list should be a brush guard 😂😂
I used to run that line 25+ years ago to service a potato house... gave them refers boxcars...wow!
Absolutely awesome

Almost need some kind of reciprocating blade system on the front to mow down some of those big weeds.
We need to bring back the red car and open up the line from Perris to San Jacinto. It would be cool to have a classic old trolly running back and forth on weekends.
You should stick a blade across the front of that so the ride back is not so bad
Very cool!
Thank you!!!

Gonna need a bigger brush deflector on your railcart 😁
Thats so cool. And there's abandoned tracks all over. We should use then before they disintegrate. Like.. the opposite of the hyperloop lol
Another good video.
On second thought, you might just as well build a brush cutter cart and do your own track maintenance.
I think you need to make an attachement to the front of the cart with a sharp horizontal blade that would cut the shrubs.
This is the coolest $hit I've seen in a minute 👍

You guys do indeed check yourselves for TICKs after these outings, right?
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣💯👍👍👍
LOL THE BUSH MAN
im Malaysia.. you good 👍..
Holy allergies Batman!
How many miles?
need to put an plexaglass windshield on the front
Tem mais Brasileiros que te assistem Archie 🇧🇷
Maybe add a small modified cow catcher apparatus on your little fox?
You might want to install a windscreen, or at least a weed wacker to the front.
You need to have rubber wheels to swap out for when the track disappears!
might want to widening the front shield then each upper corners bent toward you.. it'll or may safeguard the front wheels.
🦘🇦🇺 It may benefit you to put a cow catcher on the front to push the vegetation away from you. Just a thought. 🙏
Did you ever think about putting aluminum bars on front corners with plexi glass in front ?
Surprised y’all haven’t fit a brush hog to the front yet
How do I get a set of those wheels?
At 5:06 seconds until he derailed
You can try tennese pass .
Yes!!! I have a little more time, I'm sure going to go. That's in my plans!!! thank you

Line ins't abandoned, you could get into deep trespassing problems for this kind of ride
