- the mysterious ever so famous star, that started it all for them, the bottle was designed by Thierry Mugler himself, and a very polarizing fragrance, already an Icon in the fragrance game...and legend...lets look in to it :)
similar fragrances: Rochas man, Ted lapidus dark soul imperial, givenchy play intense, cuba prestige, animale animale, axe dark temptation bod spray.
Just got my vintage bottle. This fragrance is amazing. It changes every 15 seconds, one of my favorite designers. 1 spray last 24 hours but it's not overwhelming. It has a patchouli incense vibe in the background. Many compliments one of my caretakers had to try it.
Love this scent, I have so a lot of memories with A*Men, for me is a legendary fragrance 👏❤️🔥
If you cut around the rubber you'll realize the sprayer is one of the best in the game! I did it on my Pure Havane.... AMAZING DISTRIBUTION!
Picked this up over the summer and am wearing for the first time today, on a nice autumn day in NY. I’m digging it. That initial blast of skank is certainly not for everyone. And I’m not sure I like it either, lol, but after that this baby is a smooth criminal.

I love this fragrance so much. Many ppl dislike the opening but I'm a big fan of it. I have tried the pure malt, own the a men and pure havane but personally this one is my fav of them all
wow you got some great ones from the line..probably the best ones,i really want pure malt in my arsenal because of the whiskey note :)
I had to pick between pure havane & pure malt, i chose pure havane because it gets more compliments and better for casual wear. However pure malt smells very unique & best suited for special occasions. Both are a must have imo!

I effing LOVE LOVE angel men! It's my current all time favorite fragrance. I love it so much i rock it YEAR ROUND...yes even in sweltering, BLISTERING Canadian summer heat. THREE sprays

Hate the opening and the middle, love the gourmand dry down. It's addictive.
Great video! I discovered Angel Men just recently, and love it! Will be using it a lot these cold and dark months. I don't quite get beastmode performance though, but it's definitely quite potent. I usually apply three sprays. It's not anywhere near as strong as, say, Ultra Male. Knowing that it was released in 1996, this fragrance now reminds me of the late nineties watching stuff like Men In Black and The X-Files, I totally get that "alien" vibe! :-)
i agree, ultra male is super potent :) and X files definitely because i love the alien theories..something mysterious...spot on.i miss that show...dint like the movie but the original series was my night time favorite on tv.thanks for the remembrance :)
This is totally the kind of fragrance that Fox Mulder could wear as his signature. I liked both movies, and also the new 2016 episodes. But the show was at its best between 1995-1998, when I was actually way too young to be watching stuff like that, but did anyway :-)
yes they messed it up with the movies also...didnt find it interesting, but you are right, the early years were the best...i was like crazy about the show

Agree with your thoughts. I actually had a 50 ml of this a few months ago and flipped it because of the opening, and the fact I was wearing it in the summer !
Fast forward a few months and I gave it another go. The dry down is fantastic and with plenty cold nights to come here in Glasgow I went and got myself the 100ml chrome flask.

yes...the season is very important....in the heat it comes off as something unpleasant. the limited edition chrome flask comes with much nicer sprayer too :)have a great day :)

Good morning Joy from the states. I have a sample of this and for me it has this strong opening that can throw you off a high rise building...lol. However, I also tried PURE MALT.... O BOY this is just heaven in a bottle, from the opening to the end you won't stop sniffing your hand and that was what happened when I first sprayed it. I just got PURE MALT 2 days ago here in the states as I noticed its a LIMITED edition release so I might get a back up bottle before it flies of the WALL... There is something magical with PURE that will just make you smile and also those around you.. Stay Blessed Brother!!!
im sorry for late reply.i suggest you get a back up bottle because something you LOVE and its limited release can hurt later...i really wish they brought it to our part of the world...im asking my sister to bring me this for sure from uk, i love booze and boozy notes for sure...Pure malt will be in my top list of BLIND BUYS :) thank you for sharing those lines...i know i was right about this beauty..u have a wonderful day Mr Tony :)

It's a hit or miss scent. And i love it. Beastly scent with beastly performance. Rich and dark fragrance. Haven't had the opportunity to use this fragrance that much. I'll definately use this in colder winter nights.

I had a tester of this, about 7-8 years ago.. then i purchased it.... My friend broke the bottle and i havn't bought it since.... to me. the Dior Homme Line has really been my go to.. although this is a must have.. i have to get it again.... IM A STARBOY is what i'll scream whenever i put this on lmao
I laughed so hard when you start talking about girls who wears satanic stuff))) My wife oftenly uses the original Angel EDP and I love this smell, A*Men is very similar to women's version, at least for my nose, unfortunately I'm not confident about wearing it in public, too controversial...
hahaah i like darkness :) i wish vampires were real...that would be cool ;) Angel is more wearable in my opinion , than Amen....i also cant wear it on a regular basis...very different and polarising still.but id say its a masterpiece

I hated it at the start of my fragrance journey. I revisited it later, now it's in my top 5 all-time favorite frags. I have a back up and collected all the flankers. I still get excited when they announce their next flanker every year . My wallet is open to Mr. Mugler anytime

Can you please update your winter perfumes for 2017 list ? I live in Nepal and in winter it gets around 10 degrees at Night and 20 degrees at day. In summer it goes upto 34 degrees in the day so it's very hot. The weather's pretty much close to Bangla weather. I hope you'll update the summer list for 2017 once march/april kicks in.

first of all im really sorry for late reply..got busy with few things and i really didnt get the time to see all comments....thank you so very much for your wonderful words.ill buy a few new frags hopefully in january..for now the purchasing is off because bangladesh is a big challenge to get authentic stuff..and price tags are crazy too...ill definitely remember your request brother.i hae plans to visit nepal..because of the cool weather near mountains and i have many nepali friends that i met in malaysia through cricket and also work :) im gonna buy pure malt..asking my sister actually...that whiskey note is something id die for...enjoy brother :) u have a wonderful sleep brother...goodnight from dhaka

malaysia has great malls where they sell great fragrances...prices are on the higher side mostly but the perfume shop which is located in the sunway putra mall and midvalley mega mall offers 20% on most of their bottles.mitsui outlet park also is great. if i ever come to nepal ill buzz you brother...you can recommend me places to visit.in general what i find...nepali people are simple....honest...hardworking and very easy to be mingling with...and hindi makes it much easier to relate...lol. keep in touch brother :)

Places to visit are Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Swayambhu, Durbar Square, Narayanhiti Royal Museum, Garden of Dreams. These all are inside/very near to the capital city. If you come here for a longer duration of time, I can also recommend you places other than these which are absolutely magical to see.

Don't own A*Men, but I do have Pure Malt. It's loud and gets lots of compliments. However, it has same issue you brought up about A*Men: lack of versatility. I only wear Pure Malt when I'm going out for a drink. I'd like to try A*Men to see how it compares to Pure Malt.
i dont mind...the Jack Daniels vibe is something i want badly..my poison :) its a must buy for me :) enoy Amen...trust me with time you will like it

Joy Amin it's a very unique and interesting fragrance it has a pronounced oak note up top but soon after smells like a freshly cut oak tree dipped in caramel and vanilla. love your vids bro keep em coming!

Angel Man Fragrance smells like Dr. Teal Lavender and Chamomile perfume.
You made it too much complicated bro, and for the complement is just 5...?! Seriously??...! Its injustice for this fragrance. Its pure beauty. on my nose its outstanding...and it can't offend people. Try it in the club, and see the magic.
Hi Joy, wanted to know you opinion on the reformulated dolce gabbana pour homme. By itself is it a good work scent if not compared with the original Italian formulation?
hi bro...i was gonna the review of the D&G PH tonight...coincidence indeed :) i like the opening of the new formulation but the drydown and life span of the frag is a bit let down..but great office scent still.the original is an entirely different story...if possible get that sticker edition..thats a beast :) and dont pay retail definitely on this new one

This is one fragrance i dislike intirely, hate the opening, dont mind the first 45mins of the dry down after an hour i find it smells dated like a generic 90s fragrance. I'd rather wear something alittle more unique that smells nicer like jhon varvatos dark rebel, bvlgari man in black, or aqva amara

It's not quite what it used to be ... It smells like a Toblerone chocolate bar and that's all. It makes a little noise in the first 2 hours, then nothing WOW ...
