    Even if Misty, was a runaway, they still need to locate her! She is definitely underage, needs to go to school until 16, cannot support herself, or take care of herself! She is definitely reliant on others. Closing the file does nothing to find her. It should have been his child. I do believe that when, people in trust, like that bum Carver, does nothing to find a missing child or a child that has been murdered they are responsible for any other murder in that area of young girls!

    Runaway = We don't give a damn! As for low class prostitutes, WHAT DO YOU CALL THE SCUM WHO SOLICIT these women who are having a Difficult Time SURVIVING???? AND..... It was NOT A LOW CLASS PROSTITUTE WHO MURDERED THIS POOR CHILD! Just a stinking low life turd looking for a defenceless kid he could rape and murder!

      Mack, I hope I edited your track in a way that kept the "spirit" of your track. We didn't have time to include the whole track. I really tried to preserve the track's spirit. I was also impressed; this is the first time I've heard anyone do the Jeff Mangum distorted fuzz acoustic guitar as good as you.

      Mack, I saw that you responded on my phone (I think), but I can't find your comment or message anywhere. Email me, or message the facebook page (facebook.com/theunresolvedpodcast)
      No idea ho fucking youtube comments work.

    For some reason, it bothered me when you said "low class" prostitute. Class, at least in the south, is inherent. Definitely not based on your income or lifestyle choices. I am involved with recovering women, many of whom are former prostitutes. Many of them have class, just not money. However, i also know plenty of people with lots of money, and great jobs, but no class!

      Elizabeth Bobo I think he meant to say lower class.

    • @danzigmcnaniel5226
      @danzigmcnaniel5226 6 років тому +2

      Elizabeth Bobo context, nice lady... context. He was clearly talking about economic status. That being said, society owes a big ol “thank you” for what you do.

    • @tetoleetd
      @tetoleetd 6 років тому +2

      there's two different kinds of class. the one he is talking about here refers to a lack of income. someone who is poor or impoverished. low class. just like someone who makes a decent living but is not wealthy would be middle class.

    • @leabeggs8079
      @leabeggs8079 6 років тому +3

      why are you saying thankyou to elizabeth for what she does "' why are you insiuating she is a prossie no need mate i dont beleive there is a need to make a point of class the actual circumstasnces of the individual is what i want to hear not someone being lumped into a class catagory which only influences judgments and actions usually negative towards people of supposed lower class.

    • @leabeggs8079

    • @brittaolson6550

      lea beggs (They’re talking about me). I watch/listen to true crime for two reasons: 1. To know how to stay safe (I’ve escaped a killer before. I know because I saw his other victim, who didn’t live). 2. Sadly, true crime is the only place I find stories about people like me. Sad because they’re all dead! People wait for us to die to pay any attention to us. Maybe if they did so before then, a LOT of tragedies would be averted. The anti-trafficking movement has made some progress, but nobody should have to be labeled a snitch to get services. Because of the over-emphasis on law enforcement in that movement, that is too often the case. I really believe in proactive services (housing, education, financial services people can live on), rather than incarceration and forensics.

    Jesus all you need is one or two people in the police who have a grudge against single mothers and shit like this happens.

    • @AsparagusG
      @AsparagusG 7 років тому +9

      "A plethora of character flaws"? Diana suffered from alcoholism, that's about it. I don't blame her for committing welfare fraud, especially in the US, where it would be difficult for a single mother to support herself.

      I am pretty sure she tried her best to raise Misty as well. I think I read somewhere that she was seeking counselling for her alcohol intakes, but that shouldn't be enough to discount her credibility in her daughter's disappearance. That cop was crooked as fuck, something's not right with him.

    Was gonna post about this being the worst police work out of all of your podcasts but then I remembered the case in Kentucky. Still terrible police work and I do get how difficult it is to solve cases like this where it's probably not a person close to the victim. Btw I really look forward to and enjoy what you do.

    • @AZ-pi9lo
      @AZ-pi9lo 6 років тому

      Rastaferion Honestly this is really bad, but like... go look up any number of serial killers. The Candyman is probably the worst tbh. That police force was despicable.

    I dont get the I gotta snitch attitude of the dude in this story. Doesn't this guy get that he's hunting an individual who's killed A LOT, isnt he afraid of the killer, I dont know, KILLING HIM. I dont believe in hero's or "good people" True crime nuts may as well call themselves murder porn aficionados. Its a kink, like being a furry. Unlike furries however, true crime people think its cool to tell people you "research" sick stuff, i hate to tell you, its not. Its kinda gross and twisted. PS dont try to track a serial killer, how dumb do you have to be to A, do that, then B tell the world (and the killer) "I'm coming for you killer!" Don't be surprised when Mr "I got to snitch" ends up dead, hmm I wonder who did it.

    I went to school with Misty and was at fair that day also... most kids from the school were because we got "Fair Days" which was a half day of school. That was the day school clubs to do events there also.
    I contacted Cory 10+ years ago to help with info I have but he is legit... CRAZY. So... have not gone further with it. I also and still friends with girl, now woman, who thought she was called by Misty a week after here disappearance. As I remember Misty... she was not popular and did not have a very clean reputation.

    • @brittaolson6550
      @brittaolson6550 5 років тому +5

      Amber H So what if she wasn’t popular and had a bad reputation, account to cruel school gossips? Most people’s high school reputations are undeserved, both popular and unpopular kids.

    • @brittaolson6550
      @brittaolson6550 5 років тому +2

      Amber H I do appreciate your perspective on what happened. I’m sure you are just giving the popular opinion, not necessarily endorsing it.
