Hi I Really enjoy your commentary. I'm a male of 74 and will be leaving Brisbane to arrive at Changi Airport, then will transit to Bangkok. Is it virtually straight forward procedure, of this silly old bugger will be up S street without a paddle. Do need to go through Arrival or just wait to depart? John Mc

I honestly think Singapore Airlines should get a nonstop flight to and from Washington DC (IAD). An A350-900ULR would be the ideal airplane for a Singapore-Dulles route although Boeing will try to get a 777 or 787 type airplane to cover the route. Washington-Dulles would also get flights from Sangley Point, Bulacan, and Clark in the Philippines. Singapore and the Philippines would most likely be the 2 Southeast Asian countries that would get nonstop flights to Washington DC (IAD).

Changi Airport (SIN) is by far Southeast Asia's best airport. The worst airport in Southeast Asia on the other hand is Ninoy Aquino Int'l Airport (MNL).
