Tyvm. Enjoyed the trip to the past. Loved it.
KCOP 13 in Los Angeles was a great station in the late 70s, for one reason or another all they seemed to show all day and night was GET SMART or GOMER PYLE. Then they would have some local news and then two back to back episodes of GET SMART followed by some GOMER PYLE. Late at night BENNY HILL entered the mix, it was a great station.
"Rocket Robin Hood" was a very low-budget series, made in Canada, by Trillium Productions & Krantz Films. Voice talent included Carl Banas, Paul Kligman, and Bernard Cowan (who all did voices in the early Rankin-Bass series, "The New Adventures of Pinocchio" and "Tales From the Wizard of Oz", as well as the classic "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer"), and Chris Wiggins.

The dear memories wrapped up in these clips. Thanks SO much.
I still have my Dr. Seuss books that my Mother bought for me in the early 1970's. The 'Rocket Robin Hood' clip is the first time that I've seen it in excellent color.
"Horse trading and bondage lead Daniel into an unusual friendship."
Intriguing to say the least.
Rocket Robin Hood is on Saturday mornings on Retro TV!
Wow! Somebody taped that cartoon. Meanwhile, in 2018, I can find maybe 5% of the warner brothers cartoons to buy in a streaming service.
Love it,rick I would like to see more of that.
upload kttv & does wpix had the same commercials
Around this time when I would've been in kinder-1st grade, KTTV had the WB Merry Melodies, KHJ had 60's Hanna Barbera and Tin Tin, KCOP showed Rocket Robin Hood, Gumby, Hobo Kelly (last years), and the TransLux Mighty Hercules and Felix the Cat.
I don't remember KTLA showing cartoons in the morning or afternoon.
D Heine Yes, those were on Sunday mornings.
KBSC-TV (now KVEA) aired ‘Felix the Cat’ about 1968-69 until 1974. KCOP did not air Felix until the 1980s at 6-30am weekday mornings.
Yes Ktla did show cartoons of Popeye.
The original self-driving truck...I guess Mr. Musk added a D to his name to throw people off.
